Justin Trudeau’s controversial eulogy for the late Cuban President Fidel Castro continues to draw criticism in Canada and the US.

Jason Kenney, former federal minster of Defence, Immigration and Multiculturalism who runs for the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta, mocked Trudeau with an eulogy for “Korean icon Kim Il-Sung”:

On November 26, 2016, Prime Minister Trudeau issued the following statement on the death of former Cuban President Fidel Castro:

It is with deep sorrow that I learned today of the death of Cuba’s longest serving President.

Fidel Castro was a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century. A legendary revolutionary and orator, Mr. Castro made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation.

While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for “el Comandante”.

I know my father was very proud to call him a friend and I had the opportunity to meet Fidel when my father passed away. It was also a real honour to meet his three sons and his brother President Raúl Castro during my recent visit to Cuba.

On behalf of all Canadians, Sophie and I offer our deepest condolences to the family, friends and many, many supporters of Mr. Castro. We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader.”

Earlier this month, Trudeau paid an official to Cuba where he met with Fidel Castro’s brother and current President Raul Castro.

In an interview with a Toronto-based Farsi language blog in August of 2010, while he was still a Liberal MP, Trudeau said amongst other things the following (translated from Farsi): “Fidel Castro talked to my younger brother Michel. During my father’s funeral I met Castro. My father was a staunch supporter of relations with Cuba. This relationship still exists and we can be proud about it. We show that we are different from America. We need a positive and a balanced policy towards Cuba versus the American hegemony (imperialism). This role is very important and I’d like it to continue.”

Following the announcement of Castro’s death, Cuban dissidents and exiles around the world labelled the revolutionary a dictator whose “crimes against his own people” must not be forgotten. To them, Castro represented a repressive regime that jailed political opponents, repressed freedom and democracy, and destroyed the national economy.

Jubilant crowds took to the streets in Little Havana – a Miami neighbourhood home to thousands of Cuban exiles.

Orlando Guiterrez, founder of the opposition Cuban Democratic Directorate in Miami, condemned Castro’s legacy. “I regret that this criminal never faced a tribunal for all the crimes he committed against his own people,” Guiterrez said, according to a translation by the BBC.

“This is a man who leaves a legacy of intolerance, of setting up a family-run dictatorship which had no tolerance for anyone who thought differently, who set up a vicious totalitarian regime where people were persecuted for the most slight deviation from official ideology.”

After coming to power in 1959, Castro banned the democratic elections he once promised, expropriated private property, created a one-party Communist state, ruthlessly suppressed all forms of dissent and opposition and dismantled the once thriving Catholic Church.

Little has changed in Cuba since Castro stepped down as president in 2008 and passed control of the country to his brother. According to Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, despite renewed relations with the United States, the Cuban government continues to harass and detain peaceful human rights demonstrators and activists, represses dissidents and discourages public criticism. Independent journalists are frequently arrested by authorities and held incommunicado for days. From January to August 2014 alone, there were over 7,188 documented arbitrary detentions.

The Cuban judicial system is controlled by the government and there is an almost complete lack of freedom for human rights and civil associations. All media outlets are overseen by the government and access to information is severely restricted.

According to Armando Valladares, a Cuban dissident who spent 22 years in prison, “hostility to religion is especially enflamed, with one human rights group counting 2,000 churches marked as ‘illegal’ by the government” in 2015.

Well, Mr. Prime Minister, you don’t have to move Saudi Arabia to live in that culture, because under your government, these intolerant, abhorrent teachings are here in Canada, at universities and in our bookstores and shared in public places like Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. They are teachings that Muslims are trying to have accepted here in Canada.

***********************

Dear Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau,

If you were to take your family, your wife and children and move to Saudi Arabia, as an immigrant, not an expat, how long do you think it would take you to embrace the culture of your adopted country?

How long would it take before you preached the need for women to wear a Burka when leaving home, and that they must be accompanied by a male relative at all times?

Or how long before your beautiful, independent wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau (she has kept her maiden name and said in Havana that women “can no longer be ignored”), would accept that she cannot drive, can no longer be independent of you, that her husband has not only the right but the responsibility to punish his wife for not performing her wifely duties, and that it is appropriate to beat your wife to bring her into line? Would Mme Grégoire Trudeau accept a lashing in the street from the religious police for any perceived infraction of the laws regarding modesty?

How long would it take the two of you, Sir, to teach your sons that women are inferior to men and your daughter that she has few civil rights, and that Muslims are superior to all others? And how would you explain to your children, Xavier James , Ella-Grace Margaret , and Hadrien the sight of men hanging from cranes in the middle of the square-guilty of being gay?

And what would you say to your children as you walked along the streets and saw people without hands or feet-amputated in the name of Islamic justice? And how would you explain to your children that it is appropriate to refer to Jews as pigs and descendants of apes? That is acceptable to call for “Death to the West” and “Death to Israel”?

They are using the false claim of freedom of religion when in fact this has nothing to do with religion and everything, Sir, to do with trying to bring Sharia Law, the ethic that underpins the ideology of Islam and undermines western freedom into law in Canada.

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you would never embrace those teachings-that ideology. That you and your wife would enver accept the teachings in “Women in Islam & Refutation of some Common Misconceptions,” authored by the Saudi scholar Dr. Abdul-Rahman al-Sheha and printed by the Saudi Dawah organization Muslim World League (رابطة العالم الاسلامي) Or teachings being promulgated in Canada in the book “The Quran” (Saheeh International) shared now at York University during Islam Awareness Week.

The following are excerpts from the book that include Quranic verses followed by a modern interpretation:

Surah (chapter) Al-Baqarah

Verse 79

So woe 32 to those who write the “scripture” with their own hands, then say, “This is from Allah,” in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.

Footnote 32

i.e., death and destruction.

Verse 131

When his Lord said to him, “Submit,” he said, “I have submitted [in Islam] 45 to the Lord of the worlds.”

Footnote 45

The meaning of the word “Islam” is “submission to the will of Allah.” This is the way of life ordained by Allah and taught by all of the prophets from Adam to Muhammad (PBUH). A Muslim is one who submits himself to Allah.

Verse 191

And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah 69 is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al-Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.

Footnote 69

Among the meanings of fitnah are disbelief and its imposition on others, discord, dissension, civil strife, persecution, oppression, injustice, seduction, trial and torment.

Or Surah (chapter) Al-Maidah

Verse 33

Indeed, the penalty 262 for those who wage war 263 against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,

Footnote 262

Legal retribution.

Footnote 263

i.e., commit acts of violence and terrorism against individuals or treason and aggression against the Islamic state.

Or this:

Verse 75

And among the People of the Scripture is he who, if you entrust him with a great amount [of wealth], he will return it to you. And among them is he who, if you entrust him with a [single] silver coin, he will not return it to you unless you are constantly standing over him [demanding it]. That is because they say, “There is no blame upon us concerning the unlearned.” And they speak untruth about Allah while they know [it].

Footnote 133

The Jews do not consider it a sin to cheat or lie to a gentile or a pagan.

Verse 112

They have been put under humiliation [by Allah] wherever they are overtaken, except for a rope [i.e., covenant] from Allah and a rope [i.e., treaty] from the people [i.e., the Muslims]. 144 And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in [i.e., rejected] the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed.

Footnote 144

Once they have surrendered, the People of the Scripture retain their rights and honor (in spite of their refusal of Islam) through payment of the jizyah tax in place of zakah and military service due from Muslims. They are then under the protection of the Islamic state.

Just take a walk with your family along Dundas Square or stroll through York University. You can talk to people who share these beliefs openly and proudly and are expending great energy in proselytizing them. So, Sir, as a proud feminist and supporter of LGBTQ2 rights, a man who cherishes diversity, accommodation, inclusion, and tolerance, how do you defend these teachings in our cities and universities, let alone to your wife and children? And will these ideals be taught during Muslim Heritage Month?

As always, Sir, I look forward to your comments. I am ever hopeful that one day you will take the time to respond to my concerns, Sir, for I have no doubt that there are millions of Canadians who would like to hear the answers to these questions. And, Sir, we have that right and you, Sir, have the obligation to respond.

Ottawa Muslim Outreach Includes Islamists Only

November 21, 2016

Ottawa Muslim Outreach Includes Islamists Only, Investigative Project on Terrorism, November 21, 2016

1589

“There is a serious problem of a global jihadist insurgency and we have to name radical Islam as the main culprit. They are not going to get this conversation going with NCCM types because they are on the defensive,” he said. “If these institutions are going to reach out to the likes of NCCM (which obviously they are free to do) they should also have progressive and reform minded Muslims at the table so they get a balanced perspective.”

***************************

After including an official from the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) Canadian branch in an outreach program last April, the chief of the Durham Regional Police Service conveyed regret and pledged to be more careful. According to Sohail Raza, director of the anti-Islamist group Muslims Facing Tomorrow, the chief acknowledged more due diligence was necessary “so that inappropriate interests would not be inadvertently legitimized.”

That message has not reached Ottawa, where a city/community partnership called Crime Prevention Ottawa (CPO) appears intent on repeating Durham’s error.

A program set for this Friday, “Addressing Hate Crimes: Creating A Safe City for All,” features the same CAIR official who prompted Durham’s introspection. Amira Elghawaby is a spokeswoman for the National Council of Canadian Muslims, which changed its name from CAIR-Canada in 2013, openly admitting it was a cosmetic change: “We remain the same organization,” a news release said.

The Ottawa Police Service is among the CPO’s member organizations.

In the United States, FBI policy since 2008 has prohibited this kind of outreach with CAIR because of evidence its agents uncovered linking CAIR to a Muslim Brotherhood-created Hamas support network in the United States. “[U]ntil we can resolve whether there continues to be a connection between CAIR or its executives and HAMAS, the FBI does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner,” then-Assistant FBI Assistant Director Richard Powers wrote.

That policy remains in effect. Its wisdom was reinforced by a federal judge in Dallas, who found that the “government has produced ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR” to Hamas. CAIR has had only one leader since its 1994 creation, executive director Nihad Awad.

In a 2003 affidavit, CAIR-Canada’s chairman acknowledged that the U.S. CAIR “has direct control” over the Canadian branch.

None of those documented connections – between CAIR and a Hamas support network, and between CAIR and the NCCM – has proven sufficient to get the Ottawa Police Service’s attention. In 2005 testimony before a Senate committee, then-Chief Vince Bevin said CAIR conducted training sessions “about cultural issues” for his officers multiple times a year.

It is unclear whether those sessions ever stopped.

The problem with Friday’s CPO program, and with the Ottawa police attitude in general, Raza told the Investigative Project on Terrorism in an email, is that participants will get a skewed perspective.

Raza is a member of several Muslim organizations that do not share CAIR’s Islamist ideology. Among them, Muslims Facing Tomorrow advocates for “the views of Muslims who believe Islam is open to reform and to new ideas in the advancement of human knowledge, and who oppose extremism in all forms in the name of Islam or any other faith-tradition.” He also is part of the Muslim Reform Movement, which includes Canadians and Americans who fight for “a respectful, merciful and inclusive interpretation of Islam” and reject “interpretations of Islam that call for any violence, social injustice and politicized Islam.”

In contrast, CAIR and the NCCM do not address reform and Islamism in any direct fashion, so if the only Muslims consulted by government agencies are from such groups, Raza said, the message is limited.

“We find their activities at best shady and mis-leading for the Muslim population of Canada,” he said.

As is the case in the United States, Jews are targeted more often by hate crimes – most recently, three incidents in one week. But in Ottawa, a variety of religious institutions have been defaced by graffiti, including swastikas and racist slurs since the hate crimes program was announced. That includes the city’s largest mosque, and a church whose pastor is among Friday’s panelists.

Thus far, the CPO and the Ottawa police have exhibited little interest in opening their outreach to hear more varied opinions, Raza said.

1887

Social media sites operated by the Ottawa Police’s Diversity Unit exemplify this point. It re-posts Twitter comments by the NCCM and Elghawaby, including a Nov. 10 link to an article about the murder of three Muslims in North Carolina that is cast as an act of Islamophobia. Local police say they have found no evidence to substantiate that claim.

In October, the diversity unit promoted a partisan political ad for Hillary Clinton featuring Khizr Khan, whose son, U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan, died protecting his comrades from a 2004 car bombing in Iraq. It’s one thing to promote the Khan family’s story, and examples are easily found, but the Ottawa police chose to take sides in the election cycle of its neighboring country.

1888

The OPS has a three-person staff, one of whom touts his work with the NCCM in his biography. Given that, and the NCCM’s desire to maintain a monopoly on the public discourse about Muslims in Canada, it is clear that dissenting voices like Raza’s would have difficulty gaining traction.

That, Raza argued, is not in the public’s interest. He is not trying to silence anyone else. But in programs which value diversity, he believes diversity of opinion is lacking.

Canadian parliament passes anti-Islamophobia motion

November 5, 2016

Canadian parliament passes anti-Islamophobia motion

Islamophobia is a trumped-up term designed to further an agenda, as indicated by Abdur-Rahman Muhammad, a former member of the International Institute for Islamic Thought, who was there at the inception of the term:

This loathsome term is nothing more than a thought-terminating cliche conceived in the bowels of Muslim think tanks for the purpose of beating down critics.

The Canadian Parliament has now passed an “anti-Islamophobia” motion, “amid increasing attacks on mosques and Muslim communities in the country and throughout the world.” This is beyond bizarre, considering the truth about attacks throughout the world. Such attacks are most commonly on Christians by Muslims; against Muslims by Muslims, against apostates and infidels by Muslims. Add to that the jihad attacks in Europe and the rampant sex assaults and crimes by Muslims upon innocents. As for attacks against Muslims on Western soil, they remain very low. A much greater problem tabulated in hate crime statistics is against blacks and Jews.

Canada is slipping down a dangerous slope. The government and Islamic supremacists have now partnered to attempt to silence anyone who criticizes Islam. The Canadian anti-Islamophobia motion resembles a kind of blasphemy law in favor of one preferred religion above all others in Canada; one may be persecuted for expressing any criticism of Islam even when warranted. Yet despite its ominous implications, the anti-Islamophobia motion received little media attention. Interestingly, that includes the leftist media; and the Huffington Post article expressed its disapproval:

Canadians can’t be blamed for missing the anti-Islamophobia motion that passed in parliament last week. If you Google it, you won’t get a single hit in mainstream media: not in CBC, not in Postmedia, not in the Globe and Mail, nowhere.

In fact, when this piece is published, it may be the first media piece talking about Canada’s successful anti-Islamophobia motion.

The Huffington Post report by Thomas Woodley, President of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME), also made obscene and insulting comparisons about the silence of the media on the subject:

Imagine if Canadian media hadn’t bothered to cover parliament’s 2004 recognition of the Armenian genocide in 2004. How might Armenian-Canadians have felt?

Or imagine if Canadian media hadn’t bothered to report on Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s 2008 apology to Canada’s indigenous peoples for the horrors of this country’s residential schools. Most would see it as yet another insult to Canada’s beleaguered indigenous communities.

Yet Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East is also known to be hostile toward Israel and light on its jihadist enemies. As reported by CiJ News:

An organization which, whether intentionally or unintentionally, omits key facts about Hamas, including information which is readily available on Hamas’ own English-language website cannot claim to have any credibility whatsoever and should certainly never be relied on by anyone except agenda-driven hardened anti-Israel activists.

Conservative government members of Parliament did not support the motion, and the Liberal MP from Mississauga Centre, Omar Alghabra, referred to the Conservative attitude as “troubling.” Back in 2002,  Alghabra stated that he did not believe that Hamas (Muslim Brotherhood proxy group) or Islamic Jihad were terrorist groups. Alghabra has also “openly stated that he favors Sharia Law for Ontario and that he was disappointed when he did not happen in Ontario after the 2003/2006 debate in Ontario.”

This bogus victimology narrative, fanned and flamed by stealth jihadists and their enablers, is fully recognized by Abur-Rahman Muhammad, who also stated:

This sense of victimization has now reached a point – especially given the consistent rhetoric of groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations – that many rank-and-file Muslims now genuinely believe that they are a persecuted and oppressed group.

canadian-parliament-passes-anti-islamophobia-motion

“Canadian parliament passes anti-Islamophobia motion”, by Nurbanu Kizil, Daily Sabah, November 3, 2016:

The Canadian Parliament has passed an anti-Islamophobia motion on October 26, amid increasing attacks on mosques and Muslim communities in the country and throughout the world. The motion has received almost no attention from Canadian media outlets, to the dismay of the Muslim community living in the country.

According to reports, it took a while for the parliament to adopt the motion, which was brought up after 70,000 Canadian citizens signed an online petition condemning Islamophobia. The petition was launched on June 8, 2016 and was closed for signature on October 6, 2016.

“We, the undersigned, Citizens and residents of Canada, call upon the House of Commons to join us in recognizing that extremist individuals do not represent the religion of Islam, and in condemning all forms of Islamophobia” the petition read.

However, when the motion was brought to the parliament, Conservative Members of the Parliament prevented unanimous consent….

Liberal MP from Mississauga Centre Omar Algabra called Conservative attitude ‘troubling,’ saying that the motion was a non-partisan, positive and symbolic one.

Toronto’s Muslim Police Chaplain Investigated After Claiming Women ‘Sin’ By Refusing Husbands Sex, Girls Ready to Marry At Puberty

Toronto’s Muslim Police Chaplain Investigated After Claiming Women ‘Sin’ By Refusing Husbands Sex, Girls Ready to Marry At Puberty, BreitbartChris Tomlinson, November 4, 2016

The Toronto Police Union has expressed concerns over a presentation given by a Muslim police chaplain who claims that women “sin” if they do not consent to sex with their husbands.

The new police chaplain, Musleh Khan, claims to be an expert on marriage counselling. But a leaked presentation shows that, like many traditional Muslims, he views that the wife must always be totally obedient to their husband, reports The Star.

According to Mr. Khan, a woman must always consent to sexual relations when her husband demands it. He says that the only valid reasons for her not to are sickness or obligatory fasting during a holy time like the month of Ramadan.

“Without a valid reason then she committed a major sin,” he said.

He then proceeded to tell any women listening: “So sisters it’s part of your act of worship towards Allah that you try to respond to this as best as you can as part of your duties as the wife.” He then continued to say that women should seek permission from their husbands merely to leave their home.

In a question and answer session in 2015 at Ummah Nabawiah Mosque in Etobicoke, Ontario, Mr. Khan explained that the proper age for a girl to be married is whenever she hits puberty.

Talking on the subject of Mohammed’s marriage to nine-year-old Aisha in the Koran, he said: “Nine-year-olds back then are comparable to 20- to 30-year-olds now.” He insisted that you cannot compare the two time periods, saying: “Back then at nine years old you were mature enough and you could get married.”

Toronto Police Association president Mike McCormack has claimed to have been barraged by emails on the subject of the chaplain’s views. He said that Mr. Khan “needs to clarify his comments” and added: “I think a lot of our members have an issue with that type of viewpoint.”

Many see the Canadian federal government and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as much softer on the topics of terrorism and Islamisation compared to former conservative Prime Minister Steven Harper.

Trudeau and his government campaigned on not supporting a ban on the full face burka, stopping Islamic State combat missions, and have even refused to call the terror group by their name, opting for ‘Daesh’ instead.

Despite several attacks, for which Islamic State has claimed responsibility, or where the perpetrators have pledged allegiance to the terror group, the Canadian government remains focused on anti-Islamophobia legislation.  On Thursday Trudeau’s government passed a motion in parliament to condemn anyone who criticises the religion or vandalises mosques.

Are Canada’s Islamists Calling the Shots?

October 27, 2016

Are Canada’s Islamists Calling the Shots? Gatestone Institute, Thomas Quiggin, October 27, 2016

The discourse of “Islamophobia,” and this petition, are nothing more than a continuation of the efforts of Islamists to silence their critics as they advance their own political agenda.

The Liberal Party of Canada appears to have been infiltrated by a variety of individuals who are supporters of Islamist extremism. This is beginning to look like a classic case of political entryism.

In 2016, Prime Minister Trudeau chose not to observe any official 9/11 memorial ceremony to honour the Canadians who died that day. However, the very next day, he attended the Ottawa Main Mosque which has multiple links to extremism. This despite recent stories in Canada about extremism in mosques and schools in Canada.

It was the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan Banna, who stated that “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated; to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”

Samer Majzoub from Quebec has initiated an official Government of Canada petition to the House of Commons. The sponsor of the petition is Liberal Member of Parliament Frank Baylis. The petition calls upon the government to condemn all forms of Islamophobia.

Samer Majzoub self identifies as being part of multiple Islamist (extremist) organization in Quebec, including the (in)famous Al-Rawdaw Mosque[1] and the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC). MAC itself states that they follow the teachings of Hassan Banna and the Muslim Brotherhood. If there was any doubt, a senior member of MAC, Dr. El-Tantawi Attia, made it clear when he stated: “Here we follow the teachings of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

The Muslim Brotherhood is listed as a terrorist group in many countries in the Middle East, while a recent UK government report states that the Muslim Brotherhood

“have a highly ambiguous relationship with violent extremism. Both as an ideology and as a network it has been a rite of passage for some individuals and groups who have gone on to engage in violence and terrorism.”

The Muslim Association of Canada itself has been identified in Canadian Senate testimony as being a Muslim Brotherhood front group.

Accusations of racism and “Islamophobia” are the sword and shield of extremist Islam in the West. It makes excellent use of the concept of perpetual victimhood. The motto of the Muslim Brotherhood is:

“Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Quran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”

The term “Islamophobia” was popularized by the mullahs in Iran after the 1979 Revolution. Women who would not willingly wear the veil were attacked by the government and accused of being “Islamophobic” for not submitting to the will of the (male) mullahs. Richard Stone was one of the authors of a letter to The Guardian in 1994 that used the term; he was also on the Runnymede Trust, which put the term into broad circulation in 1996. Trevor Phillips, of Britain’s Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), who commissioned the Runmymede Report, has now admitted, in a damning new report on integration, segregation, and how the followers of Islam are creating “nations within nations” in the West, that he “got almost everything wrong” on Muslim immigration.

It is not unusual for a Liberal Member of Parliament to support efforts by extremists. Canada’s Parliamentary Secretary for Global Affairs (Junior Foreign Minister) is an open supporter of Islamic sharia law. Several other Liberal Party members have close links to extremism as well. Additionally, in 2016, Prime Minister Trudeau chose not to observe any official 9/11 memorial ceremony to honour the Canadians who died that day. However, the very next day, he attended the Ottawa Main Mosque, which has multiple links to extremism. This despite recent stories in Canada about extremism in mosques and schools in Canada.

Canada’s Minister of Democratic Reform, Maryam Monsef, is another Liberal Party member creating waves around her place of birth and Islamist belief system. She campaigned on a narrative of how she, as an Afghan refugee, could do great things in Canada — until it became clear she was born in Iran. She was reported to have tried to return to Afghanistan to take a job there in 2014, but now it seems she spent the time in Iran instead. More notably, she claims to find sharia law “fascinating.”

It was the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan Banna, who stated that “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated; to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.” The discourse of “Islamophobia,” and this petition, are nothing more than a continuation of the efforts of Islamist to silence their critics as they advance their own political agenda.

[1] The mosque is also a part of the Muslim Association of Canada. Among many other problems, the mosque held a lecture in which the very concept of martial rape was mocked.

Trudeau on anniversary of Ottawa jihad attack: “Diversity makes our country strong” Jihad Watch

The reality beneath Trudeau’s adulation of diversity is like a festering sore; his misplaced praise diverts attention away from the grave threat of jihadi infiltration and its threat to homeland security, and undermines the real heroes who stopped the jihadists on that fateful day at the Canadian Parliament.

Most worrisome is that prior to carrying out their attacks both perpetrators were known to Canadian law enforcement authorities. In fact, Rouleau was included in the list of 90 Canadian nationals considered at ‘high risk’ for possible involvement in terrorist activities; yet at the time not considered sufficiently serious to warrant tighter surveillance of his activities, surveillance that might have prevented his attack.

The anniversary of the jihadist attack on Canadian Parliament is no occasion to applaud diversity. The West has allowed an indiscriminate form of “diversity,” Islamic supremacism, to undermine democracy and terrorize Western citizens.

The heroic act of Canadian Parliament’s head of security, sergeant-at-arms Kevin Vickers, saved the day.  Vickers risked his life to take down Michael Zehaf-Bibeau in a “dramatic hail of gunfire,” right after Zehaf-Bibeau — an Islamic convert who had joined the Islamic State — shot dead a Canadian soldier. Vickers even “changed my impression of Canada,” according to Josh Marshall, editor and publisher of the far-Left political website Talking Points Memo, which “decreed” Vickers  “Lord High Badass of Canada.”

The humble Canadian hero received global, deserved accolades;  one was in the Israeli Parliament, where he stated: “This is not about me. This is about the team of Commons security services.” He went on:

Safety is community based.

This is not an issue just for security, this is everybody’s issue and how we deal with this is by everybody, all the citizens, working together with their local police, their national police to ensure we have a safe society.

Vickers’ message of everyone working together to ensure the safety of society is important; sincere democracy-supporting Muslims should be at the forefront of facilitating such efforts, not shouting “Islamophobia.”

Israel is a most suitable place for Vickers to have been honored, as it was under jihadist attack long before the modern jihadist incursion into the West. We also know that Israel is a very diverse country, from which Trudeau can take lessons as Prime Minister of a multicultural state; beginning with the facts that Raffa Abu Tareef, a Druze writer, researcher and 25-year veteran of the Israel Defense Forces, points out:

Islamism is a movement that regards the sovereign Jewish state as an existential battle between Islam and Judaism…..

the movement has fostered the “Islamization” of the geography and history of the Land of Israel. In an attempt to provide a framework for dealing with what it sees as the occupation of Palestine by the Jews, Islamists have rewritten the history of the Land of Israel.

Islamic supremacism – through lies about victimhood and “Islamophobia” — has made deep inroads into Europe under the cover of “diversity,” and is well on its way in North America to doing the same, a territory that is perceived by Islamic supremacists as “dar al Harb” (House of War) that must be subjugated under “dar al Islam” (House of Islam). It is a similar premise to the “Islamization” of geography that Tareef describes, in which Western countries are deemed “colonialist victimizers,” a term that corresponds to “the Zionist entity”; but jihadists conceal their own history of bloody conquest, modern day abuses and ongoing slavery of blacks by Muslim Arabs. There is no respect for “diversity” or pluralism in the vocabulary of the Islamic supremacists who have infiltrated us.

As Trudeau denies this reality, he continues to smile and indiscriminately worship “diversity,” even on an inappropriate occasion.

“Trudeau says reaction to Ottawa attack shows that diversity ‘makes our country strong’”, by Jonathan Halevi, CiJ News, October 22, 2016:

Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, issued on Saturday, October 22, 2016, a statement on the two-year anniversary of the attack at the Cenotaph and Parliament Hill with no word on the perpetrator’s motive and ideological affiliation. Trudeau described the attack as “brutal”, “vicious” and “deadly” emphasizing that “Canada will not be intimidated by hatred and violence.”

He further said that the reaction to the attack demonstrated yet again that “diversity and collective love of democracy are what make our country strong and our nation great.”

The following is Trudeau’s statement:

“Two years ago, Canadians were shocked by the brutal attack that took place in and around Parliament that claimed the life of Corporal Nathan Cirillo and injured others.

“This vicious attack, at the very heart of our democracy, sought to frighten and divide Canadians. Instead it had the exact opposite effect, drawing us closer together and making us stronger. In the wake of this deadly assault, parliamentarians and Canadians united in condemning terrorism and further embracing our diversity.

“The whole country honoured first responders – Senate and House of Commons Protective Services, the RCMP, former House of Commons Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers, medical personnel and others – for their bravery and their willingness to put themselves in harm’s way for Canadians of all backgrounds and faiths.

“It showed the world that Canada will not be intimidated by hatred and violence, but will meet these acts with strength and conviction. This also showed me yet again that our diversity and collective love of democracy are what make our country strong and our nation great.

“I join all Canadians today in mourning the loss of Corporal Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent – who was killed two days earlier in an attack in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.

“These two members of the Canadian Armed Forces made the ultimate sacrifice for the country they loved. The most fitting tribute that we can pay them is defending the values that they so personified.”

On October 20, 2014 , Martin Ahmad Couture-Rouleau, a convert to Islam, deliberately drove into two Canadian Forces soldiers in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, near Montreal, killing Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent before he was shot dead after a police chase. Faisal, his Facebook friend, told CBC that Couture-Rouleau was a supporter of the Islamic State (aka ISIS, ISIL, IS, Deash, Caliphate). He posted on a Facebook page that was allegedly affiliated with him the black flags of the Islamic State. Months before the attack, the Police was aware of Couture-Rouleau’s radical statements on social media and arrested him in July 2014 foiling his plan to board a plane to Turkey, probably in his way to Syria. To watch CBC report on Martin Ahmad Couture-Rouleau click HERE.

On October 22, 2014, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, 32, Canadian born and a convert to Islam, shot dead a soldier and was killed after opening fire inside the Parliament in Ottawa. Zehaf-Bibeau saw himself as a “mujahid”, meaning a fighter in the path of Allah, and said that “Canada’s officially become one of our [Muslim mujahideen] enemies.”

A Short time before he went to the attack at Parliament Hill, Zehaf-Bibeau recorded his last message to the world in which he told his motives:

“In the name of Allah, the most gracious and the most merciful. All praises to Allah, the lord of the universe. We seek his help and ask for his forgiveness. Lord, open for me my chest, ease my task for me and remove the impediment from my speech. In the name of Allah the most gracious and the most merciful.

“To those who are involved and listen to this movie, this is in retaliation for Afghanistan and because Harper wants to send his troops to Iraq.

“So we are retaliating, the Mujahedin of this world. Canada’s officially become one of our enemies by fighting and bombing us and creating a lot of terror in our countries and killing us and killing our innocents. So, just aiming to hit some soldiers just to show that you’re not even safe in your own land, and you gotta be careful.

“So, may Allah accept from us. It’s a disgrace you guys have forgotten God and have you let every indecency and things running your land. We don’t, we don’t go for this. We are good people, righteous people, believers of God and believing his law and his Prophets, peace be upon them all….

Global News reported that a second “an anti-Islam flyer” was found in mailboxes in Edmonton, Alberta. The police hate crimes unit has launched an investigation.

The flyer reads the following:

I HATE GAYS

Thinks Islam

The Quran:

Kill the one that is doing it and also kill the one that it is being done to him. (in

reference to the active and passive partners in gay sexual intercourse)

Is this advocating peace, love and freedom in your eyes?

IT’S TIME TO

#ShiptThemThe****Back

To see the flyer click HERE.

Alannah Davies, Edmonton resident who received the flyer in her mailbox and Jesse Lipscombe, founder of the racism initiative Make It Awkward, condemned the hate content of the flyer.

Faisal Khan Suri, president of the Alberta Muslim Public Affairs Council (AMPAC), called on police to investigate the flyer. The Alberta Muslim Public Affairs Council (AMPAC) sent the following statement to Global News:

AMPAC emphatically condemns the hate flyers being distributed in Edmonton for the second

time. The flyers are hate propaganda with fabricated assertions about Islam and Muslims.

Islam does not condone the killing of any innocent life.

We are urging the EPS to investigate these acts as hate crimes and brings those responsible to justice…

Islamophobia in not just a Muslim issue – it’s an Alberta issue and a Canadian issue.”

Does the flyer contains fabricated assertions about Islam”?

The authors of the flyer quoted hadith (narration) attributed to Mohammad, the prophet of Islam, explaining the Islamic ruling in case of homosexuality.

The same hadith and interpretation appears on the Islamic website Mission Islam:

“Kill the one that is doing it and also kill the one that it is being done to.” (in reference to the active and passive partners in gay sexual intercourse).”

The team behind Mission Islam website present themselves as “concerned Muslims” who strive to “promote accurate representation of Islam… to increase awareness as to the extent of oppression against Muslims… [and] to remind Muslims of their responsibility to participate and support their brothers and sisters in Islam.”

The hadith in question also included in an Islamic ruling published by the Islamic website “Islam Question and Answer” which is recommended by Islamic organizations in Canada.

The following are excepts from the Islamic ruling on the punishment for homosexuality:

The crime of homosexuality is one of the greatest of crimes, the worst of sins and the most abhorrent of deeds, and Allaah punished those who did it in a way that He did not punish other nations…

al-Tirmidhi (1456), Abu Dawood (4462) and Ibn Maajah (2561) narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.”. Classed as saheeh [reliable narration] by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi…

The Sahaabah [Mohammad’s companions] were unanimously agreed on the execution of homosexuals, but they differed as to how they were to be executed.

Some of them were of the view that they should be burned with fire

and some of them thought that they should be thrown down from a high place then have stones thrown at them…

Some of them thought that they should be stoned to death

After the Sahaabah, the fuqaha’ [scholars] differed concerning the matter.

Some of them said that the homosexual should be executed no matter what his situation, whether he is married or not.

Some of them said that he should be punished in the same way as an adulterer, so he should be stoned if he is married and flogged if he is not married.

Some of them said that a severe punishment should be carried out on him, as the judge sees fit.”

The Islamic ruling on the punishment for homosexuality – The Canadian perspective

Imam Dr. Abdullah Hakim Quick (Toronto):

So he [journalist] said: what is the position of Islam on homosexuality? They ask me. So newspaper, right? So I said: put my name in the paper. The position is death. And we cannot change Islam…

If he is serious, and a person came to me, and he came in the office and and he said he was homosexual, cried. I said: what happened to you? And he said: my father abused me. Heis a Muslim. So I… said: brother, you know your are sick. He said: I’m sick.

So we sent him to a Muslim psychiatrist, so he can work through his problem, and then bring him back into the masjid (mosque).

So anything can can come now these days. Anything is going to come at us, but we cannot allow in the name of Islam gay masjid (mosque) to come. We cannot allow this, man. And they’re trying to do this…

[Question from the audience whether the “Jews” are behind homosexuality]

It [homosexuality] goes with Zionism. And really it seems like, Allah knows best (الله اعلم), if they are Dajjal’s (Antichrist دجال) army while it is mostly Jews (يهود) but probably there will be homosexuals with them too. Allah knows best (الله اعلم).

Syed Muhammad Rizvi (Toronto):

In the Islamic legal system, homosexuality is a punishable crime against the laws of God. In the case of homosexuality between two males, the active partner is to be lashed a hundred times if he is unmarried and killed if he is married; whereas the passive partner is to be killed regardless of his marital status.

In the case of two females (i.e., lesbianism), the sinners are to be lashed a hundred times if they are unmarried and stoned to death if they are married.

Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips (Toronto):

It becomes a problem. Delaying Marriage… That’s the consequence. Once we delay it brings in corruption. Worse than that, you end up with lesbianism, homosexuality gets born out of those circumstances.”

Imam Wael Shihab (Toronto):

Homosexuality is a sinful act in Islam. As for you question about how we should deal with homosexuals, I’d cite the following fatwa of Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi, president of the Fiqh Council of North America:

We should consider them people who get themselves engaged in a sinful act. We should deal with them in the same way we deal with any people who are involved in alcoholics, gambling or adultery.

We should have deep repugnance to their acts and we must remind and warn them. Those who insist on this lifestyle, consider it legitimate and feel ‘gay pride’, we should not associate with them and should not take them as friends. We should certainly avoid those people.

If we see a person who has committed this sin and wants to repent then we should help that person as much as we can to get out of this evil. We should not leave him/her to thetemptations of the Satan…”In Islam, changing one’s sex is not permissible if the person (male or female) has ‎complete male or female sex organs….

Moreover, I have consulted reliable medical sources, which confirm the following:

1. A person who undergoes sex-change operation will not be a complete man or woman. So, if a man changed his gender to a woman, she then will not be able to bear children or breastfeed them. The same also applies to a woman who changes her gender to a man; he will not be able to have children.

2. It is easy for a person, after having sex-change operation, to return back to his or her original sex.

Given the above, it’s my advice for him to return back to his original sex and go through professional counseling and treatment to lead normal happy life.”

Imam Syed B. Soharwardy (Calgary):

According to the teachings of Islam homosexual behaviour is an abnormal behaviour and must be cured. Homosexuality is completely forbidden in Islam and it is one of the KABA-IR (big) sins according to Islam.”

Imam Mustafa Khattab (Edmonton):

Homosexuality is not permissible. The reason the people of Lot peace be upon him were destroyed in Sodom and Gomorrah, because of this sin, so it is not permissible. Deal with someone, with a homosexual, in my view, as I said homosexuality is abnormal, this is not the norm.

So, for me, someone who is homosexual is like someone who has diabetes or someone who has cancer or AIDS, he has a special case and this person needs special treatment.

Can I talk to them? Why not? Just like I talk to everybody, ok. But, personally I don’t like to be associated with them.

One day, we were in California, in Los Angeles and we were sitting around a table… this guy was sitting next to me… he said: I’m personally a gay… I moved my chair. I didn’t feel comfortable to sit next to the guy. Again, you can talk to them.”

Imam Muneer El-Kassem (London, Ont.):

El-Kassem implied that Allah punished mankind with global wide economic crisis because of homosexuality (“some sexual orientations”) and immodesty (“dressed half naked”). According to Munir El-Kassem, the climate change as it is seen reflected in the prolonged drought in Middle East is actually Allah’s retribution for the people who avoid giving charity.

Muslim preacher at Toronto’s Dundas Square:

If you are gay you are cursed, because it is disgusting, because you area man and you are having sex with another man which is the cause of AIDS.”

“You want to be proud to be a gay and this is the cause of AIDS and that is a punishment from God.”

“You’ll see all these homosexuals, they are spitting… because they are dying of AIDS, and the truth is the truth. I’m here to bring the truth… It is the punishment of God. God is punishing them by bringing them AIDS.”

Homosexuality is wrong and a sin and if you are a homosexual you are cursed. It doesn’t matter if it is your right… you will have to answer your Lord… when you die you will have to answer to God for your evil Satanic actions.”

“The truth is the truth and the truth has to be spread… because the City is days before the Gay Parade, right? and as a Muslim I have to enjoy the good and forbid the evil. I have to do it because I’m committed by Allah as a Muslim to enjoy good and forbid evil.”

If you go to Church and Wellesley you see these homosexuals spitting, because they are dying of AIDS.”

“People want to defend them. How can you defend something Satanic… how can you defend AIDS? It is immoral… Homosexuality is immoral.”

The book Minhaj – Al – Muslim, or “The way of a Muslim” (sold in Islamic bookstores in Canada), p. 511 of the book (Vol. 2):

The Hadd [fixed punishment] of homosexuality is stoning to death, with there being no difference between the married or unmarried person. This is due to the Prophet’s statement:

Whoever you find doing the deed of the people of Lut (i.e. sodomy), then kill the doer and the one

to whom it is being done.” (Abu Dawud, At-Tirmithi and others, and it is Sahih [reliable])

The methods of killing them (the two who committed the homosexual act) that have been related from the Companions have differed. From among them there were those who burned them with fire. Others among them killed them by stoning them with stones. Ibn ‘Abbas said about them. “The highest building in the village should be sought, then they should be thrown from it upside down (i.e. on their heads). Then they should stoned after that.”

The book “The Lawful and the Prohibited in Islam” By Yusuf Al Qaradawi (sold in Islamic bookstores in Canada):

Sexual Perversion: A Major Sin…

Lut’s people were addicted to this shameless depravity, abandoning natural, pure, and lawful relations with women in the pursuit of this unnatural, foul and illicit practice…

The jurists of Islam have held different opinions concerning the punishment for this abominable practice. Should it be the same as the punishment for zina [adultery, which means that the married sinner is stoned to death], or should both the active and passive participations [sic] be put to death? While such punishments may seem cruel, they have been suggested to maintain the purity of the Islamic society and to keep it clean of perverted elements.”

The book Fatawa Islamiyah or Islamic Verdicts (sold in Islamic bookstores in Canada), (Vol. 6, p. 199):

The Ruling on Sodomy and the Punishment Thereof

What is the ruling on sodomy in Islam and what is the punishment?

The shameful act of sodomy is one of the most repugnant of shameful acts and we seek refuge with Allah (from it). Because of it, Allah destroyed the people of Lut, peace be upon him, and punished them with a terrible punishment, turning their homes upside down and raining stones of baked clay upon them, layer upon layer, (as Allah said): “marked from your Lord and they are not ever far from the wrongdoers.”

It has been reported from the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, that the punishment for one who does that or allows it to be done to him is that he be killed. Or, tobe burnt or to be stoned. Or, to be thrown from the highest point (mountain, tower, lofty building etc.), then to follow it with stoning.

This is because of its corruption of morals, customs, and because of its violation of the natural human state, and because the abandonment of lawful marriage by those who practice.

“Ibn Jibreen”

The book “Clear Your Doubts About Islam” (distributed for free at the Islamic book at Toronto’s Dundas Square):

Why does Islam oppose homosexuality? Where is freedom of choice?

In the West today. homosexuality and lesbianism have come to be seen as an alternative lifestyle subject to personal preference. It is no longer considered an abnormality that requires restraint and treatment, and is being actively promoted by its adherents and their sympathizers as a legitimate way of life. Arguments in favor of tolerance toward same sex relationships arc based on the assumption that homosexual behavior is biologically based and not merely learned from society.

Islam considers homosexuality to be the result of human choice. Human beings are not robots that do only what they are programmed to do. They choose how to behave and God holds them responsible for their choices. It is inconceivable that God would have made some people homosexuals then declared it a punishable crime. To accept such a proposition is to suggest that God is unjust.

Inclinations can exist within humans toward a variety of natural acts and unnatural ones such as rape, paedophilia or bestiality. These inclinations may arise from media influence or direct contact, but it does not mean that free reign should be given to them.”

The book24 Hours With The Prophet” (distributed for free at the Islamic booth at Dundas Square in Toronto):

Homosexuality is a “major sin”

The Meadowale Islamic Centre in Mississauga, Ontario included “sodomy, homosexuality” in the list of “The Five Evils” (newsletter. March & April 2015).

Taha Ghayyur, a Toronto Muslim activist and a board member of DawaNet, believes that the Islamic Law can be gradually implemented in North America.

Ghayyur introduces himself as follows:

“I am a writer, public speaker, community organizer, and marketing consultant. I work as Development Manager with Sound Vision and volunteer my time with DawaNet projects in various capacities. I got involved with MuslimFest in its early years.”

Dawanet is a grass roots organization striving among other things:

  • to create effective networks of communication and media to keep the Muslim community informed and connected”
  • to share and relate the message of Islam with beauty, wisdom, and respect using both traditional and modern means of communication”
  • to offer courses, workshops, and study circles on Islamic sciences and disciplines in the light of Islamic sources (text) and our environment (context), to develop a healthy Muslim identity and citizenship
  • to influence public opinion about social justice issues through artistic expression and media participation”

DawaNet has applied for registered charity status and our application is still being processed. Some of DawaNet’s other community projects include:

  • TorontoMuslims.com: A web portal for the GTA’s Muslims.
  • Sharing Islam: Regular booths at major malls across GTA, such as SquareOne.
  • Understanding Islam Academy: Originating in 2012, Understanding Islam Academy (UIA), a flagship project of DawaNet, is dedicated to making Islamic education accessible, affordable and relevant.
  • Canada Zakat The welfare arm of DawaNet
  • MYSpirit – Muslim Youth (MY) Spirit is a movement to engage, educate, and empower young Muslims of Canada through education, art, media, recreation, and civic engagement.
  • MuslimFest – Launched in 2004, MuslimFest is a joint initiative of DawaNet, Young Muslims Canada, and Sound Vision, which organizes in Mississauga, Ont. an annual festival to celebrates Muslim arts, education, entrepreneurship and entertainment.

Sound Vision Canada presents itself as “a pioneer in quality Islamic education and entertainment products and programs for North American Muslims.”

Young Muslims (YM) presents itself as “an organization dedicated to addressing the vital roles the Muslim youth should play in North America” and counteracting the modern “temptations” by “challenging the youth to take the best of all paths in both this world and in the Hereafter” and encouraging Muslim youths to feel “comfortable with their Islamic identity, spirituality, and heritage.”

In an article originally published by Young Muslims website and entitled “Understanding Punishment in Shariah [Islamic Law], Taha Ghayyur explained the rationale behind the harsh punishments in Islam (execution, stoning, cutting off thieves’ hands etc.) and argued that the Islamic Law (Shariah) can be implemented in North America.

The following are excerpts from Ghayyur’s article:

Abdur-Rahman Doi, in his encyclopedic work Shari’ah: The Islamic Law, suggests that only a total of seven scenarios exist in which Hud [fixed] penalties are awarded in the Islamic law; among the Hud crimes are intentional murder, theft, adultery, and highway robbery.

Not surprisingly, it is this portion of the Islamic law that often makes headlines in the media.

According to the Muslim jurists, the purpose of Hud [fixed] punishments is educative, preventive, and, mainly deterrent.

Punishments are thus designed to keep the sense of justice alive in the community by a public repudiation of the acts violating the limits set by God.

They are expected to build up in the society a deep feeling of abhorrence for transgression against fellow human beings, and therefore against God – a transgression which, according to the Quran, is the root cause of all disorders and corruption in human life…

“The Hud [fixed] punishment prescribed by the Quran for a theft is to cut off the thief’s hand [under certain and strict conditions]…

“Moreover, one wonders if Shariah can be practically implemented in our contemporary North American context…

“The principles of Shariah are universal and are not bound by the limitations of time and culture.

“It is certainly possible to apply Shariah in the North American society only if three conditions are fulfilled:

  • One, when an environment is developed, provisioned with preventative measures, that is conductive to a just and productive lifestyle, which is often not compatible with a consumer lifestyle.

  • Two, if the Shariah laws are implemented gradually, accompanied by continuous public education and training on the importance of justice, freedom, and one’s purpose on this earth, the way it was revealed and practiced, as a strategy of pre-crime social reform, over a period of twenty three years at the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the first generation of Muslims.

  • Three, if the punishments in the Shariah are given their due place, only to be used as a last resort, and not to be practiced in isolation from the other major objectives of the Shariah.

“If a comprehensive approach to Shariah is not adopted then one may expect to witness horrific images of extremist, selective, and literal application of the Islamic text, the likes of which we have witnessed in recent times.

Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, sent a video message greeting the organizers of the MuslimFest in Mississauga in summer 2016, including DawaNet, Sound Vision and Young Muslims:

Hello everyone. Welcome to the MuslimFest 2016.

Thank you to DawaNet, Young Muslim Canada, Festive Currents and Sound Vision who put in so much effort to organize this weekend’s festival.

Today and tomorrow we celebrate the best in Muslim art and culture with artists from Canada and around the world. We celebrate Muslim comedians who make us laugh, musicians who make us move and artists who inspire us all. Enjoy the delicious food and lively entertainment and have a wonderful Muslim fest. Thank you.”
