Germany: Salafist “Aid Workers” Recruiting Refugees, The Gatestone InstituteSoeren Kern, December 9, 2015

  • Salafists disguised as aid workers are canvassing German refugee shelters in search of new recruits from among the nearly one million asylum seekers who have arrived this year from Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Some Salafists are offering gifts of money and clothing. Others are offering translation services and inviting migrants to their homes for tea.
  • “The absolutist nature of Salafism contradicts significant parts of the German constitutional order. Specifically, Salafism rejects the democratic principles of separation of state and religion, popular sovereignty, religious and sexual self-determination, gender equality and the fundamental right to physical integrity… The movement also has an affinity for violence.” — Germany’s domestic intelligence agency.
  • “Come to us. We will show you Paradise.” — Salafist literature distributed in Schleswig-Holstein.
  • Many young Muslims in Germany “believe in conspiracy theories, cherish anti-Semitic thoughts and do not think democratically.” For these people, “Islam is their only identity.” — Ahmad Mansour, former Muslim Brotherhood member, author and expert on Islam.
  • The main Muslim groups in Germany all adhere to fundamentalist interpretations of Islam and are anti-Western in outlook. — Ansgar Mönter, editor, Neue Westfälische.

The number of radical Salafists in Germany has more than doubled over the past five years, according to a new estimate by German intelligence officials.

Salafists disguised as aid workers are also canvassing German refugee shelters in search of new recruits from among the nearly one million asylum seekers who have arrived in Germany this year from Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The revelations by Hans-Georg Maassen, the director of the Germany’s domestic intelligence agency, the Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (BfV), come amid growing fears that jihadists linked to the Islamic State have infiltrated Germany by posing as refugees.

In a December 3 interview with the Berlin newspaper, Der Tagesspiegel, Maassen said that the number of Salafists in Germany has now risen to 7,900. This is up from 7,000 in 2014, 5,500 in 2013, 4,500 in 2012, and 3,800 in 2011.

Although Salafists make up only a small fraction of the estimated six million Muslims living in Germany today, intelligence officials say that most of those attracted to Salafi ideology are impressionable young Muslims, male and female alike, who are willing to carry out terrorist acts in the name of Islam at a moment’s notice.

Salafists — who follow what they say was the original Islam practiced in the 7th and 8th centuries — openly state that they want to replace democracy in Germany (and the rest of the world) with an Islamic government based on Sharia law.

In its annual report for 2014, released in June 2015, the BfV said that Salafism is the “most dynamic Islamist movement in Germany.” It added:

“The Salafist scene constitutes a considerable recruitment field for jihad. Salafist ideology purports to be based exclusively on the principles of the Koran, and the example of the Prophet Mohammed and the first three generations of Muslims. The movement also has an affinity for violence. Almost without exception, all of the people with links to Germany who have joined the jihad [Islamic State] had prior contacts with Salafist structures. Also in 2014, Salafists tried to draw attention to themselves with rallies and provocations, including the READ! campaign and the Sharia Police.”

The BfV was referring to an effort by Salafists to enforce Sharia law on the streets of Wuppertal, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, the state with the largest Muslim population in Germany. Salafists have also organized a mass proselytization and recruitment campaign — Project READ! — aimed at placing a German translation of the Koran in every household in Germany, free of charge.

A previous BfV report stated:

“The absolutist nature of Salafism contradicts significant parts of the German constitutional order. Specifically, Salafism rejects the democratic principles of separation of state and religion, popular sovereignty, religious and sexual self-determination, gender equality and the fundamental right to physical integrity.”

Speaking to Der Tagesspiegel, Maassen also defended himself against accusations that his agency has failed adequately to vet incoming refugees to ensure that jihadists are not infiltrating Germany. He said:

“My agency has repeatedly pointed to this possibility. Looking at the overall situation, I am advocating a differentiated approach. It would be wrong to see all asylum seekers as a terrorist threat. It would also be shortsighted to act as if the flow of refugees will not have any impact on our security. Salafists are trying to win new followers in the vicinity of refugee camps.”

Critics say that Maassen is downplaying the migrant-jihadist threat to Germany to protect German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her open-door migration policy.

The editor of Tagesspiegel’s editorial page, Malte Lehming, has accused Maassen of trying to “influence the political discourse for the benefit of the government.” In a scathing editorial, entitled, “German Intelligence Has Been Discredited,” Lehming wrote that three of the jihadists who carried out the November terrorist attacks in Paris entered the European Union posing as refugees and holding false passports.

According to Lehming, this development is “highly inconvenient” for German intelligence, which has been “disgraced to the core.” This is because up until the Paris attacks, Maassen had insisted that the possibility that terrorists could enter the country by posing as refugees was, at best, an “abstract danger.”

Lehming continued:

“The assessment of the German secret services has been discredited ever since the Paris attacks. The question remains, why did they lean so far out on this point?

“Possibility One: They really did not know. This would be appalling. Hundreds of thousands of refugees have entered Germany unchecked. If the security services have no idea who has come here, this country will have a massive problem.

“Possibility Two: The secret services know more than they are publicly saying, but they do not want to stir up panic among the general public that Islamists could be among the refugees.”

Some are attributing the fact that Germany has not suffered a major jihadist attack to sheer luck.

According to Ahmad Mansour, an Israeli-Arab expert on Islam who has lived in Germany for more than a decade, the German government is not doing nearly enough to combat Islamism.

Mansour, the author of “Generation Allah,” a new book about the radicalization of young German Muslims, says that the number of Islamic radicals in Germany is likely to grow to such an extent that German authorities will no longer be able to keep track of them.

In an interview with Die Welt, Mansour — a member of the Muslim Brotherhood for more than a decade until he abandoned Islamism in the late 1990s — said that many young Muslims in Germany “believe in conspiracy theories, cherish anti-Semitic thoughts and do not think democratically.” For these people, “Islam is their only identity.”

Mansour said the German government “lacks a plan” to deal with the problem. He added that much of the blame lies with “highly problematic” Islam teachers who are radicalizing German youth. Commenting on the question of why jihadists have not yet carried out a major attack in Germany, Mansour said: “So far Germany has been lucky.”

This assessment has also been voiced by German Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière, who has conceded: “So far we have been lucky. Unfortunately, this may not always be the case.”

A poll published on December 3 by the newsmagazine Stern found that 61% of Germans believe jihadists will attack their country in the near future. The poll shows that 58% think the German military should be attacking the Islamic State, although 63% believe this would lead to retaliation in the form of terrorist attacks in Germany. Overall, nearly 75% of Germans believe the government needs to do more to prevent terrorism in the country.

The head of the Federal Criminal Police Agency (Bundeskriminalamt, BKA), Holger Münch, hasacknowledged that German intelligence lacks the human resources necessary to track all of the most dangerous Islamists in the country. “Given the number of potential attackers, we must prioritize,” he said.

According to the newspaper Bild, at least 60 police officers are necessary to monitor just one German jihadist around the clock.

Meanwhile, some German Salafists are posing as aid workers and are offering gifts of money and clothing in efforts to recruit asylum seekers. Others are offering translation services and inviting migrants to their homes for tea. Still others are handing out leaflets with information about local Salafist mosques. In an interview with the Rheinische Post, BfV Chief Maassen said:

“Many of the asylum seekers have a Sunni religious background. In Germany there is a Salafist scene that sees this as a breeding ground. We are observing that Salafists are appearing at the shelters disguised as volunteers and helpers, deliberately seeking contact with refugees to invite them to their mosques to recruit them to their cause.”

In the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein, Salafists are distributing literature with the message: “Come to us. We will show you Paradise.”

In Frankfurt, city officials are now sending teams of police, translators and social workers to refugee shelters to warn asylum seekers of the dangers of Islamic radicalism. The teams are also educating migrants about the German legal system, religious freedom and the equal rights for men and women.

In Bielefeld, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Salafists are infiltrating refugee centers by bringing toys, fruits and vegetables for the migrants.

According to the editor of the newspaper Neue Westfälische, Ansgar Mönter, “naïve” politicians are contributing to the radicalization of refugees by inviting Muslim umbrella groups to reach out to the migrants.

Mönter points out that the main Muslim groups in Germany all adhere to fundamentalist interpretations of Islam and are anti-Western in outlook. Some groups have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, while others want to implement Sharia law in Germany. According to Mönter, politicians should not be encouraging these groups to establish contact with the new migrants.

Not only in the USA !

Trump Coppins Breitbart

On Monday’s MTP Daily, a BuzzFeed writer who tried to preemptively take out Donald Trump with a 2014 hit piece said he did not know how to “stop” Trump from rising in the polls after controversial statements and policy proposals—like building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and banning Muslims from entering the United States. BuzzFeed’s McKay Coppins even conceded that Trump’s latest proposal to ban Muslim immigrants would probably help him in the polls.

Coppins was asked on MSNBC whether Trump “pays any price” for his latest proposal to put a moratorium on Muslim immigration.

“The problem is that we’re talking about it. We have to talk about it. It’s our job to hold candidates responsible for stuff like this,” Coppins said before noting that “every word that’s said about Donald Trump’s latest provocations, every headline, every negative, every fact-check only reinforces his message that he’s crusading against the evil media liberal elites.”

Coppins, whom Trump once labeled a “scumbag” for his hit piece on Trump, added, “I think this will help him and I don’t know how to stop that.”

On his Tuesday radio show, Rush Limbaugh said the mainstream media are becoming “unhinged” and “unglued” because “they can’t” stop Trump.

“They’re powerless, and this has them in a panic. The media that can make-or-break anybody cannot touch Trump, and every time they try, all they do is make him bigger. They can’t explain this. They are frustrated to no end, and so are both political parties who rely on the media to be the great equalizer in all of this,” Limbaugh explained. “Nothing’s working. No matter what Trump says, the media is there, and every member of the media is there. Every network, every camera, every microphone is there.”

Limbaugh said that “Trump has direct access to his voters, his supporters, the American people. Trump has direct access to people around the world.” According to Limbaugh, no matter how hard the mainstream media try, “they can’t stop covering him. They can’t humiliate him. They can’t embarrass him. They can’t diminish his support.”

Limbaugh added that “what really frustrates them, is they can’t get rid of Trump by simply repeating what he says. Trump has direct access. Trump did not need the media in order to be heard, in order to have his message flavored and formed for proper receipt by the audience. He has direct access. He doesn’t need them. He can go right over their heads.”

“It’s causing them to come unglued and unhinged, while they think it is Trump who is unhinged and coming unglued,” Limbaugh said.

New media and Trump’s celebrity have neutered the legacy media’s ability during the 2016 cycle to shape voters’s perception of the businessman and GOP frontrunner.

Last week, Pat Buchanan argued that “millions now regard the media as ideologues who are masquerading as journalists and use press privileges and power to pursue agendas not dissimilar to those of the candidates and parties they oppose.”

According to Buchanan, Trump’s “popularity is traceable to the fact that he rejects the moral authority of the media, breaks their commandments, and mocks their condemnations. His contempt for the norms of Political Correctness is daily on display.”

He observed that “large slice of America that detests a media whose public approval now rivals that of Congress, relishes this defiance” and “the last thing these folks want Trump to do is to apologize to the press.”

Buchanan noted that “the media have played right into Trump’s hand”:

They constantly denounce him as grossly insensitive for what he has said about women, Mexicans, Muslims, McCain and a reporter with a disability. Such crimes against decency, says the press, disqualify Trump as a candidate for president.

Yet, when they demand he apologize, Trump doubles down. And when they demand that Republicans repudiate him, the GOP base replies:

‘Who are you to tell us whom we may nominate? You are not friends. You are not going to vote for us. And the names you call Trump — bigot, racist, xenophobe, sexist — are the names you call us, nothing but cuss words that a corrupt establishment uses on those it most detests.’

What the Trump campaign reveals is that, to populists and Republicans, the political establishment and its media arm are looked upon the way the commons and peasantry of 1789 looked upon the ancien regime and the king’s courtiers at Versailles.

Buchanan noted that in Teddy White’s The Making of the President 1972, White wrote that the “power of the press in America is a primordial one. It sets the agenda of public discussion, and this sweeping political power is unrestrained by any law. It determines what people will talk and think about — an authority that in other nations is reserved for tyrants, priests, parties and mandarins.”

“Today the press decides what words are permissible and what thoughts are acceptable,” Buchanan wrote. “The press conducts the inquisitions where heretics are blacklisted and excommunicated from the company of decent men, while others are forgiven if they recant their heresies.”

Buchanan pointed out that “with the rise of network television and its vast audience, the fourth estate reached apogee in the 1960s and 1970s, playing lead roles in elevating JFK and breaking Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon.” According to Buchanan, Nixon ultimately “inflicted deep and enduring wounds upon the fourth estate” because he rallied the “silent majority” against their agenda.

Buchanan mentioned that “a huge majority rallied to Nixon and Agnew, exposing how far out of touch with America our Lords Spiritual and Lords Temporal had become.”

“Nixon, the man most hated by the elites in the postwar era, save Joe McCarthy, who also detested and battled the press, then ran up a 49-state landslide against the candidate of the media and counter-culture, George McGovern,” Buchanan noted. “Media bitterness knew no bounds.”

He said that when the “press extracted its pound of flesh” with Watergate, the media had “reached a new apex of national prestige.”

He pointed out that though “Nixon and Agnew were attacked for not understanding the First Amendment freedom of the press… all they were doing was using their First Amendment freedom of speech to raise doubts about the objectivity, reliability and truthfulness of the adversary press.”

After four decades, the tide has turned—perhaps permanently—against the mainstream media, according to Buchanan.

“Since those days, conservatives have attacked the mainstream media attacking them,” Buchanan wrote. “And four decades of this endless warfare has stripped the press of its pious pretense to neutrality.”

Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul: Hillary Clinton ‘Responsible’ for Islamic State

Nice, but why so late coming out with this , and what about all the islamic terrorist in the homeland ” security ” ?

Damage control 2016  ?

Homeland Security Chairman blames President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the rise of the Islamic State.

“I would say that she and the president are responsible for ISIS rearing its ugly head,” McCaul said, during a Christian Science Monitor breakfast with reporters in Washington D.C. this morning.

He argued that any Republican nominee for president would have a huge advantage over Clinton in 2016 as it was clear that the issue of national security was paramount among voters.

“I think Mrs. Clinton has a lot of weaknesses because she was the architect of the Obama administration’s foreign policy,” McCaul said, referring to her role as Secretary of State.

He argued that a lack of a status of forces agreement in Iraq was mainly responsible for the security implosion in that country, pointing out that Clinton only visited Baghdad one time while serving as Secretary of State.

After Clinton and Obama took office, he noted, the entire State Department had dumbed down their language on the threat from radical Islamist terrorism and created a more dangerous world.

“The whole vernacular in the State Department changed when they came into office … they just wanted to wish this away, and you know what, it didn’t go away,” he said. “And now he can’t get his head around this thing called ISIS.”

By not defining the enemy, McCaul argued, or changing the rules of military engagement, it was hard to say that Obama believed his was at war with ISIS.

“I think that they are war with us, but I don’t think this administration is at war with them, and I think that’s the inherent problem,” he said. “We need to be.”

The West Can Defeat ISIS – but What Comes Next?

The West Can Defeat ISIS – but What Comes Next? The Investigative Project on Terrorism, Pete Hoekstra and Clare Lopez, December 8, 2015

French President François Hollande is making the rounds of the world’s capitals, jet setting between London, Washington and Moscow with several meetings in-between.

He is engaged in a full-throttle effort to convince leaders of a plain and simple plan. Immediately eliminate the Islamic State that’s claimed responsibility for the massacre of 130 innocent men, women and children in Paris. That the jihadist state needs to go is not in dispute. It is creating chaos and mayhem throughout the Middle East, parts of Africa and beyond. ISIS is an aggressively metastasizing cancer that threatens Europe and North America.

Before a global coalition follows the French headfirst into this Indiana-sized caliphate located in the former Iraq and Syria, however, we need to answer questions related to competing political and territorial concerns.

The last time the U.S. led from behind the French, the message was also seemingly plain and simple. Remove Muammar Gaddafi by aiding, abetting and arming Libya’s al-Qaeda militias and the country will take care of itself as the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood assumes power.

History proved them disastrously wrong. Libya quickly collapsed into a failed state with Gaddafi’s massive munitions stockpiles – and very likely some of the weapons and training that NATO gave to the Libyan jihadis opposed to Gaddafi – finding their way into Syria to form the early core of ISIS.

Indeed, arguments could be made that none of the interventions by the West in the Middle East and northern Africa turned out well. The common lesson learned in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Libya is that nothing is as simple as it looks. Every situation is difficult with many different considerations that all carry grave ramifications.

Let’s examine all of the intended outcomes as well as the possible unintended consequences of current decisions.

Whether we like it or not, ISIS currently plays a role in the balancing act between Shia and Sunni in the Middle East. What happens to the equilibrium once it is removed from the equation?

Do the U.S. and Europe propose to formalize the Shia crescent of dominance from Tehran, through Baghdad to Damascus, ending in Beirut? Russia is the coalition’s primary benefactor, so the axis now also includes Moscow. Is this how the West envisions that part of the world coalescing? Or does the West see some other as-yet undefined coalition of Sunni forces filling the void? How would U.S. allies such as Israel, Jordan and Turkey respond to a Shia crescent?

Have the leaders responsible thought about possible contingencies, and how to achieve better outcomes?

Have we considered that the very rise of ISIS, with broad support from local Sunni states, was itself a reaction to the removal of Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi army as the only credible counterweight to the Shiite rulers in Tehran? These states, from Saudi Arabia to Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, will and must have a say in what happens next. They will not allow a nuclear-armed Iranian hegemony to expand unchallenged. They recognize that the U.S. has been an unreliable ally at best, as it facilitated the overthrow of Sunni regimes in Iraq, Egypt, Libya and Yemen and allowed for the advancement of Iran’s nuclear weapons capabilities.

Further, the Middle East battleground is crowded with competing ethnic, sectarian and tribal interests, most of which harbor jihadist sympathies. So, with which should the U.S. ally itself against ISIS: the al-Qaeda affiliate, Jabhat al-Nusra? The Turkish-backed Ahrar al-Sham? Are we helping Bashar al-Assad cling to power by fighting side-by-side with Hezbollah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp? What about our relationship with Vladimir Putin’s Russia?

The Obama administration has already demonstrated its proclivity to side with the wrong party – al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood – in Libya and Egypt. We should not allow ourselves to become drawn into such mistakes again, especially when the ability of the West, Russia and Iran to fully destroy ISIS – or its jihadist ideology – is not entirely clear right now.

We need to think of this as a game of chess in which leaders strategize three to four steps ahead into a future without ISIS. Current decisions will have a domino effect on subsequent outcomes.

More often than not, we are playing soccer of the worst kind, the bunch ball sort in which we watched our children all at once chase the ball and try to kick it downfield at the same time with little success. It is such a sad but true comparison, but how else do you explain losing the war after more than 14 years of endless battles since 9/11?

Op-Ed: Obama is fueling global jihad

December 9, 2015

Op-Ed: Obama is fueling global jihad, Israel National News, Dr. Joe Tizara, December 8, 2015

The bottom line—for now— is that Obama’s meeting scores of known Islamist terrorists at the White House, aiding and abetting the enemy in collusion with the Muslim Brotherhood fuel global Jihad.

Americans needs to understand that the evil scourge of terrorism is here to stay until the end of Obama’s presidency. It seems that his real legacy will likely be the establishment of a global haven for terrorism.

*********************

One of the biggest mistakes in dealing with radical Islamic terrorism is to blame only Islamic State (ISIS) when it is, in fact, part of a much broader movement and more than one organization.

Regardless of the specific motives behind the timing of the killing spree in San Bernardino that killed 14 people, this horrific massacre was a clear-cut act of radical Islamic terror.

Not surprising, at the UN climate summit in Paris, a baffled Barack Obama said that the San Bernardino massacre motive is a mystery – then uses the tragedy to push for gun control and declare “climate change is a threat to national security on par with terrorism.”

If this doesn’t sounded profanely dishonest, it is absolutely “delusional.” How can one link the summit to the War on Terror and blame terrorism on climate change?

America wants to know the truth. And yet, federal authorities ignore the U.S. mosques –  and social media’s role at the center of Islamic terror attacks. Both are a source of support, recruitment and radicalization of terrorists.

The real truth is unnerving and extremely appalling:

The mosque attended by the terrorist who killed U.S. soldiers at a base in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is affiliated with the same Islamic group as the mosques patronized by the Boston marathon bombers and the 9/11 hijackers who attacked the Pentagon.

Undeniably, the Islamist jihadist terror has come full circle in a “multi-pronged Islamic invasion” under the guise of illegal immigration, known as Islamic Hijrah or jihad by emigration.

On further scrutiny, it is clear the U.S. has been invaded by large numbers of Islamic terrorists since Obama took office.

For the past seven to eight years, the U.S. government has acknowledged the fact that Iranian proxy, Hezbollah and Hamas have strong ties to the Mexican drug cartels, as evidenced by the 2010 Tijuana arrest of Hezbollah militant, who was given the job of establishing a well-armed Hezbollah network in Mexico and South America.

We may never know for sure the exact numbers of Islamic jihadists who are plotting to attack America. However, a December 2015 report by the George Washington University indicated that more people in the U.S. were arrested for alleged connections to ISIS this year than in any previous year.

Almost 400 alleged ISIS adherents are inside the U.S.

ISIS, now is threatening more attacks in the next six months, claiming to have “71 trained soldiers in 15 different states.”

In total, the FBI currently has nearly 1,000 active investigations into ISIS sympathizers.

Since March 2014, 71 individuals in the U.S. have been charged with ISIS-related activities in 21 states. As of fall 2015, 250 Americans have either traveled or tried to travel to Syria or Iraq to join ISIS. Around 40 percent of ISIS sympathizers in the U.S. who were arrested were converts to Islam, whereas 23 percent of American Muslims are converts, according to the report.

Former FBI counter-terrorism Special Agent John Guandolo argued on Breitbart News, the “vast majority” of the 2,200 Islamic organizations, centers, and mosques in the U.S. are a part of a “hostile” and broader “Jihadi network” intent on imposing Sharia Law in America.

Guandolo “came to understand very deeply the massive jihadi network we have in the United States” and discovered that “the leaders of the Islamic organizations… were actually interfacing with government leaders and advising them with how to proceed in the War on Terror.”

The San Bernardino terrorists attended the Islamic Center of Riverside, which is owned by the North American Islamic Trust, which is the bank for the Muslim Brotherhood.

‘The Society of North America (ISNA) was founded by an Al-Qaeda guy who used to advise Bill Clinton and Al Gore and is now in prison.’

“ISNA, the largest Muslim Brotherhood organization— is a Hamas funding entity” and its leadership [has thoroughly infiltrated the Obama administration and other branches of the U.S. government].

The most prominent Muslim Brotherhood Organizations like ISNA, Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), and the Hamas organization-Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) — complained to the White House about the training Guandolo initiated inside the government at the FBI, when he realized that “we were being advised by the enemy on how to investigate and deal with the enemy.”

CAIR, is an Islamic supremacist organization with the same goals as those of Al-Qaeda and ISIS; which was actually named an unindicted c0-conspirator and Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas front group by the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, in the successful prosecution of a terrorist funding cell organized around one of the largest Muslim charities, the Holy Land Foundation.

MPAC has secured a close working relationship with the Obama White House despite a record of anti-Semitism and whitewashing the terrorist threat while condemning law enforcement.

In the U.S. v. Holy Land Foundation case, FBI internal document say that the purpose of this network within the U.S. is “to wage civilization jihad… until the entire world, and specifically the United States, is under Sharia law and the Islamic State is established here.”

According to another FBI veteran familiar with recent and ongoing cases involving CAIR officials, “Their offices have been a turnstile for terrorists and their supporters.”

The Muslim Brotherhood assassinated Egypt’s president, Anwar Sadat in 1981, and in 2011, with Obama’s help – overthrew Hosni Mubarak, who was also trying to keep the Egypt-Israel peace treaty alive.

Gulf News sources familiar with Obama’s secret presidential directive (PSD-11) show mounting evidence the current U.S. administration has an official policy of backing so-called “moderate Islamists,” and the “jihadist Muslim Brotherhood.”

Kharirat El-Shater, the number two man in the Muslim Brotherhood hierarchy—now in custody by the Egyptian military—has evidence that the Obama regime was funneling millions of dollars to the Muslim Brotherhood.

As reported by Egypt Daily News, Obama secretly transferred a staggering $8 billion to the Muslim Brotherhood to guarantee that the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula be turned over to the Muslim Brotherhood’s terrorist wing Hamas.

Claire Lopez is a former CIA operative, now with the Center for Security, is risking her professional career to call out “Obama is [indeed] a Muslim terrorist with Brotherhood ties to take down USA.”

One of the reasons for Obama’s support of the Muslim Brotherhood is the president’s half-brother, Malik Obama’s oversight of the Muslim Brotherhood’s investments worldwide.

Russia says it has proof that, “Obama’s best friend in the Middle East,” Turkey‘s Muslim Brotherhood President Erdoğan is involved in ISIS oil trade.

While Turkey has openly established recruiting stations for ISIS,  Qatar is also feeding billions of dollars to ISIS.

After the San Bernardino massacre, the White House downplayed the threat of radical Islamic terrorism for and appointed a foreign policy advisor with links to the terrorist group Hamas to be the administration’s new czar in charge of countering ISIS.

Center Field: Palestinian terrorism plus Western appeasement equals today’s Islamist

Most academics today are too politically correct to admit it – and too busy boycotting democratic Israel. But when future historians connect the dots to explain the origins of al-Qaida, Islamic State and today’s scourge of Islamist terrorism, the pattern will be undeniable. Yasser Arafat was the grandfather of Osama bin Laden and all modern terrorists. Moreover, Western appeasement of Palestinian terrorism – cravenly displayed at Munich – proved that claiming “terrorism doesn’t pay” is delusional: terrorism works thanks to Western weakness. Violence put the Palestinians on the international agenda and cast them as the ultimate oppressed Third Worlders to many totalitarian leftists – who today exaggerate Palestinians’ suffering, importance and impotence.

******************

Last Tuesday, two widows of the Israeli Olympians murdered at Munich in 1972 revealed that the eight Palestinian terrorists beat the hostages who survived their initial assault. The attackers also shot Yossef Romano when he resisted, then castrated him. These horrifying details, sandwiched between the Paris massacre and the San Bernadino bloodbath, amid the latest wave of Palestinian violence, reinforced a fact that terrorist- deniers and Palestinian apologists deny: The world’s tolerance for Palestinian terrorism, starting in the 1970s, made it the gateway crime to Islamist terrorism – understanding a gateway crime as both evil and trailblazing, normalizing. As one friend cleverly noted: “ The suicide vest found in the garbage bin in Paris might as well have had ‘Made in Palestine’ stitched on it. Guess that’s a label the European Union lets into the continent.”

In September 1972, the International Olympic Committee president, Avery Brundage, became the sniveling symbol of Western appeasement. More protective of his games than the kidnapped athletes, he allowed the Olympics to continue for 10 hours as the Palestinians tortured the Israelis. Then, after the terrorists murdered the hostages and one German policeman during Germany’s botched rescue attempt, Brundage insisted the games continue after a short 24-hour pause. One Los Angeles Times columnist wrote: “It’s almost like having a dance at Dachau.”

The Olympic Committee has never commemorated the murdered Israelis with a moment of silence (although one is planned for 2016), hoping not to “politicize” the games, meaning anger Arabs and Muslims.

Barely two months after this debacle, West Germany used a false hijacking ruse to free the three surviving terrorists. In return, the PLO promised not to attack Germany. In 1999, one terrorist, Jamal al-Gashey, boasted: “I am proud of what I did at Munich because it helped the Palestinian cause enormously. Before Munich the world had no idea about our struggle, but on that day the name of Palestine was repeated all over the world.” In September 1970, Palestinian terrorists hijacked planes and destroyed them in Jordan, but Munich became their big international premier.

Six months after Munich, on March 1, 1973, America – under a supposedly tough Republican Richard Nixon – caved despite losing two diplomats in a Palestinian raid against the Saudi embassy in Khartoum. The two Americans, Cleo Noel and George Curtis Moore, along with a Belgian diplomat Guy Eid, were the only hostages murdered – after Yasser Arafat sent the terrorists a coded radio message, asking: “Why are you waiting? The people’s blood in the Cold River cries for vengeance.” “Cold River” was the pre-arranged code for “kill them.”

The Sudanese soon freed all eight terrorists and the Americans never hunted down these killers. Less than two years later, in November, 1974, Arafat addressed the UN General Assembly. Two decades after that, this unrepentant murderer of Americans would win the Nobel Peace, be the most frequent foreign guest Bill Clinton hosted at the White House and bring his people to the brink of a peace treaty and their own state, only to lead them back to terrorism, delegitimization and cries to exterminate the Jewish state.

The Palestinians chose well in targeting Israel, especially during the 1970s. Directing terrorism against the Jewish state triggered decades of blaming the victims and excusing the perpetrators. The anti-Semitic hostility so many Westerners have toward Israel, the Jew among the nations, reinforced the growing post-Sixties culture of Western guilt, self-abnegation, appeasement and enabling of violent enemies – as long as they could define themselves as people of color. Radicals cast democratic Israel, forced to defend itself, as an imperial force not an embattled state, while casting Palestinian terrorists as freedom fighters not pathological killers.

Rather than noting how few peoples suffering far more turn terrorist, rather than wondering why Palestinians targeted innocent women, children, elders, Blame Israel Firsters assumed that Palestinians’ cruelty somehow reflected Israeli cruelty. Israel must be very guilty of intense oppression to merit such hatred, the politically correct assumed, rather than scrutinizing the Palestinian death cult that fed off anti-Semitism and Islamic fundamentalism.

Arafat’s success and the West’s limp response helped weaponize an exclusivist, bigoted, triumphalist Islamist ideology, inspiring al-Qaida, Islamic State and others.

Even today, President Barack Obama hesitates to label terrorism terrorism and dodges the phrase “radical Islamism” – even when a jihadist major shot up Fort Hood in 2009 or a San Bernardino shooter posted an IS manifesto. True, Obama has hunted some terrorists aggressively, but his ideological confusion has emboldened terrorists – and reflects this broader international muddle in facing evil.

If I were Palestinian or Muslim, I would be ashamed. So far, the great Palestinian contribution to civilization has been terrorism; “Palestinian” as a modifier most frequently appears before the word “terrorism” – 32 million times, a Google search shows. The phrase “Islamic terrorism” appears 201 million times. Don’t they want to be known for constructive contributions? Without a robust internal critique, among Palestinians, among Muslims, terrorism will continue. Golda Meir’s aphorism needs updating. Yes, Palestinians must love their children more than they hate our own before peace comes. And Palestinians must also become terrified of being considered terrorists.

Thirty-seven MKs signed a petition Wednesday calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cancel his planned meeting later this month with US presidential candidate Donald Trump, two days after the Republican front-runner said all Muslims should be banned from entering the US.

Netanyahu’s office earlier Wednesday said the December 28 meeting with Trump was decided upon two weeks ago, long before the billionaire candidate made the controversial remarks.

The petition was initiated by Meretz MK Michal Rozin, the Hebrew-language website NRG reported.

Rozin was seeking to “publicly condemn Trump’s racist remarks and to cancel the planned meeting (with Netanyahu) before he regrets his comments.”

“While leaders around the world are condemning the racist and outrageous remarks by the Republican presidential candidate, Netanyahu embraces him warmly,” she lamented.

“Their meeting at the end of the month lends support to (Trump’s) racist comments, and in this disgraces the democratic character of the State of Israel and hurts its Muslim citizens,” Rosin wrote.

Most signatories were members of opposition parties, but MK Yaacov Margi (Shas) and Roy Volkman (Kulanu) also signed it.

Officials in the Prime Minister’s Office said the prime minister would meet with any presidential candidate from any party in the US elections, but added that Netanyahu “does not agree with every comment by every candidate.”

According to NRG, officials close to the prime minister acknowledged that in the current circumstances, there is “a certain complexity” around the meeting but insisted that it will take place as planned.

Trump has not walked back his comments, and on Tuesday doubled down on the widely condemned remarks.

Ahead of the 2013 Israeli elections, Trump appeared in a short clip calling on Israelis to vote for Netanyahu.

Trump on Tuesday tweeted that he may leave the Republican Party and run as an independent candidate.

A new poll indicates that 68% of my supporters would vote for me if I departed the GOP & ran as an independent. https://www.facebook.com/DonaldTrump/posts/10156389951165725:0

A Canadian Islamic school that was linked to the California shooter as well as four students who travelled to Syria to join the Islamic State closed for the day on Tuesday, citing “safety concerns.”

Staff at the Al-Huda Institute said the media’s focus on the school had put the staff and students at risk. Media focus on the school began this week when it emerged that Tashfeen Malik, one of the San Bernardino terrorists, had attended a branch of the school in Pakistan.

Last year, the school was in the headlines as four of its students, aged 15-18, had attempted to travel to Syria to join jihadi organizations. Travelling from Canada through Cairo to Istanbul, three of the girls were stopped by the Turks after the girls’ parents alerted Canadian authorities.  The oldest girl made it to Syria and has been living there since 2014.

The Al-Huda Institute in Mississauga, Ontario is one of a chain of 200 Al-Huda schools in the U.S., Canada and Pakistan. Founded in 1994 by an ultra-conservative female Islamic scholar, Farhat Hashmi, its ideology is said to have spread like a social movement in North America and around the world.

The self-declared “Islamic feminist,” Hashmi wears a burka, advocates total obedience of a woman to her husband and promotes Saudi Wahhabist ideology. When she opened a new center in London – in a former police station — she was accused of teaching a “medieval view of human rights and women’s place in society” as well as advocating jihad.

Her teachings were so controversial and offensive she was asked to leave Canada in 2006. Canadian reports say she has not been in the country for the last three years.

“Women gravitate towards her because they are either disillusioned with their life in the West, or they want their daughters to be protected from what they perceive to be the moral laxity of the West,”Muslim human rights activist Farzana Hassan said, speaking to theInternational Business Times. “Her network is large and growing because her graduates then go out and spread the word to other recruits.”

As for Malik, after she began studying at an Al-Huda Institute in Pakistan (before she married fellow San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwan Farook), a close friend said she noticed a big change in her former schoolmate. “We were like, ‘What happened to Malik?’” said Abida Rani. “She became so religious, so serious, and so focused on Islamic teachings, and she lost her interest in her studies.”

Meretz MK Rozin wants to ban Trump from entering Israel.

Several Opposition leaders have signed a letter that demands that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu cancel a scheduled Dec. 28 meeting with Donald Trump during the Republican presidential candidate’s planned visit.

The Prime Minister has said he will meet with Trump, but aides have been careful to point out that he does not necessarily agree with Trump’s views.

The gadfly GOP presidential candidate raised the rafters Monday when he said that Muslims should be banned from entering the United States “until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

Meretz MK Michal Rozin initiated the letter to the Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Opposition Knesset Members figure that If Trump can say “No Muslims,” they can say, “No Trump.”

Meretz MK, Esawi Frej and an Arab, said:\

Just as it is clear Israel wouldn’t allow a hater of the Jews to use it in order to advance his political wares, the same must be in the case of Trump.

Trump is not just a racist; he is a man who poses a threat to the free world. A man who through racist incitement tries to gain the post of US president. A man whose presence in the public sphere is based on racism.

The state of Israel cannot let Trump enter, particularly given his intentions to use his visit for political propaganda. This is a man who incites against a public (Arabs] that represents 20% of the population of the state of Israel, a man who asks to incite flames and hatred in every place he visits.

At least two MKs grabbed the headlines Wednesday and demanded that Trump be barred from the Knesset, although he has no plans to visit, at least not this time around. That caudal change if he were to be elected President of the United States.

Zionist Union MK Omer Bar Lev (tweeted Wednesday:

As far as it depends on me, this racist @realDonaldTrump should not be welcome in the @knessetisrael

Arab Knesset Member Ahmed Tibi called Trump a “neo-Nazi” on Twitter and added:

I asked the Speaker of the Knesset to prevent Trump from entering the Knesset.

Opposition leader Yitzchak Herzog has said nothing and probably will remain silent. He stated last month he is staying out of American politics after being asked how he would deal with Trump if he were elected to the White House.

In Britain, 105,000 people have signed a petition to ban Trump from entering the country, and the number is rising every minute

The online petition in Britain, whose population includes nearly 3 million Muslims, states:

The UK has banned entry to many individuals for hate speech.

If the United Kingdom is to continue applying the ‘unacceptable behavior’ criteria to those who wish to enter its borders, it must be fairly applied to the rich as well as poor, and the weak as well as powerful.

Britain has an estimated 2.7 million Muslim population.

Below is Trump’s “NO Muslims” speech.

Vladimir Putin has praised the Russian cruise missiles fired against terrorists in Syria from the sea. He expressed hope that these weapons would not have to be armed with nuclear warheads.

Meeting in the Kremlin with Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, who reported the latest results of the anti-Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) ops in Syria, the Russian president made a notable remark.

We must analyze everything happening on the battlefield, how the weapons operate. The Kalibrs (sea based cruise missiles) and KH-101 (airborne cruise missile) have proved to be modern and highly effective, and now we know it for sure – precision weapons that can be equipped with both conventional and special warheads, which are nuclear,” Putin said.

“Naturally, this is not necessary when fighting terrorists and, I hope, will never be needed,” the president added.

On Tuesday, a Russian Kilo-class submarine, the Rostov-on-Don, fired Kalibr-PL cruise missiles against an IS installation near the terrorists’ stronghold in Raqqa. Water-to-surface cruise missiles were launched from a submerged sub in the Mediterranean Sea, according to the Russian defense minister.

“We’ve been registering the missiles launches, flights and, of course, their hitting the targets,” Shoigu said. “We warned our Israeli and American colleagues about these launches.”

Kalibr and KH-101 cruise missiles have been deployed for the first time this year in Russia’s counter-terrorist operation in Syria.
