Baghdad warned that it might turn to the UN Security Council if Ankara failed to withdraw its troops from Iraq within 48 hours.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Baghdad may use all the available options, including an address to the UN Security Council, if Turkey fails to withdraw its troops from northern Iraq within 48 hours, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Abadi said Sunday.Numerous reports suggest that on Friday Turkey sent approximately 130-150 soldiers to northern Iraq. Turkish forces, deployed near the city of Mosul, are allegedly tasked with training Peshmerga, which has been involved in the fight against Daesh, also known as ISIL.

“Iraq has the right to use all available options, including resorting to the UN Security Council in the absence of the withdrawal of these forces within 48 hours,” Abadi said in a statement following the National Security Council meeting.

According to the prime minister, the deployment of hundreds of Turkish servicemen on the Iraqi territory without the consent and knowledge of the Iraqi authorities is a violation of sovereignty and a breach of the principles of good neighborliness.

Earlier on Sunday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Turkish troops were deployed in Iraq on the country’s Defense Ministry invitation.

My Fellow Muslims Americans, we live in difficult times. We must wrestle constantly with blasphemous, and therefore false, Islamophobic assertions such as that devout Muslims slaughtered innocents in Paris and more recently in California. I shall continue to pursue with all possible vigor the perpetrators of such Islamophobic speech and thought, which I recently declared felony-grade hate crimes.

Sadly, many innocents who shouldn’t be dead now are. [Rub eyes with handkerchief to feign grief.] However, assertions that they were killed by devout Muslims have no basis in fact or logic. We need common sense gun control, not Muslim control, because those innocents were murdered by guns, not by Muslims.

Unlike Muslims, Guns have minds of their own and usually act without regard to what their owners want. I have had substantial personal experience with guns, having tried to fire one several times. They always refuse to send the bullets where I want them to go. Here’s a recent photo.

Back-Fire

If the gun I was holding had been as obedient as gun fanatics claim, it would have known that I wanted the bullet to go away from Me, not toward Me; it would not have pointed itself at Me. Only the hasty intervention of My Sober Sacred Service agents saved Me.

As some of you may have heard, the folks who held the wicked guns which killed innocent civilians in California have been linked to the so-called Islamic State, which is neither Islamic nor a state. As I have often told you, it has nothing whatever to do with Islam, the religion of peace, truth, human rights (particularly female rights) and tolerance. Indeed, the high regard of Islam for human rights was recently made perfectly clear by the selection of Saudi Arabia to lead the UN Human Rights Council. I can think of no greater, higher or better-deserved honor, with the sole exception of My own Nobel Peace Prize.

The link between ISIS and those who held the wicked guns in California proves My point: Unlike Saudi Arabia and the Islamic State Republic of Iran, ISIS has nothing whatever to do with Islam; therefore, neither did those deluded killers. It’s as simple as that!

Today we begin our Great Leap Forward, ever confident that we shall overcome Climate Change, the most effective enabler of the Non-Islamic Islamic State, and along with it such terrorist organizations as the National Murder Rifle Association and its vile Republican co-conspirators. I shall lead the way as always, with determination and confident in the knowledge that you, My Fellow Travelers Americans are, and will continue to be, with Me on this road all the way to the bitter end.

Thank you, good evening, and may Allah God bless us all, Insha’Allah!

Iraq Could Ask Russia for Help After ‘Invasion’ by Turkish Forces

The head of Iraq’s parliamentary committee on security and defense, Hakim al-Zamili, in an interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, said that Baghdad could turn to Moscow for help after Turkey had allegedly breached Iraq’s sovereignty.

Numerous reports suggest that on Friday Turkey sent approximately 130 soldiers to norther Iraq. Turkish forces, deployed near the city of Mosul, are allegedly tasked with training Peshmerga, which has been involved in the fight against Daesh, also known as ISIL.On Saturday, Baghdad described the move as “a serious violation of Iraqi sovereignty,” since it had not been authorized by Iraqi authorities.

“We may soon ask Russia for direct military intervention in Iraq in response to the Turkish invasion and the violation of Iraqi sovereignty,” Iraqi lawmaker al-Zamili said.

Earlier, Hakim al-Zamili threatened Turkey with a military operation if the Turkish soldiers do not leave Iraq immediately. The parliamentarian reiterated that Turkey sent troops into Iraqi territory without notifying the government.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Abadi urged Ankara to immediately pull out its forces, including tanks and artillery, from the Nineveh province. Iraqi President Fuad Masum referred to the incident as a violation of international law and urged Ankara to refrain from similar activities in the future, al-Sumaria TV Channel reported.

ISIS Commander Meets With Hamas in Gaza

ISIS Commander Meets With Hamas in Gaza

hamas is isis

Hamas in America is CAIR, MSA, and ISNA. Is it any wonder they are covering for the San Bernardino jihadis?

ISIS commander meets with Hamas in Gaza, Washington Times, December 5, 2015:
Shadi al-Menei, the commander of ISIS in the Sinai, is meeting with Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip to discuss ways that the terrorist groups can increase cooperation and coordinate attacks. There has been conflict between Sunni jihadis and Hamas previously in the Israeli territories of the West Bank and Gaza, as Islamic radicals want to continue to provoke Israel to attack, and Hamas has been more cautious. Now it seems those gloves are off and the two will be working together.

The Times of Israel reports Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s observation in his 2014 speech to the U.N. General Assembly “that ISIS and Hamas are branches of the same poisonous tree,” seems to be ringing true.

The paper reports that Hamas and ISIS are also discussing ways to increase arms smuggling in the area, including anti-tank rockets that the Sunni terror group has used to attack Israeli and Egyptian positions, including tanks and aircraft. The global coordination of terror organizations makes the danger to Western civilization all the more real.

In July, an Israeli general confirmed that the Israeli Defense Forces had “clear information” that Hamas was assisting ISIS in the Sinai, including through logistical support and arms smuggling. If Hamas can assist in the Sinai, it can assist bringing arms into the United States or Europe. The European and pacifist Left in the United States are dangerously flirting with disaster.

Poland wants NATO nukes to counter Russia threat

The Polish Defense Minister says he is thinking of asking NATO to allow nuclear weapons to be deployed on its territory. The alliance’s program allows non-nuclear countries to borrow US missiles. However, such a move would unlikely be taken kindly by Russia.

Defense Minister Tomasz Szatkowski made the statement on Saturday during an interview with the Polish broadcaster Polsat, as cited by AP.  He says that the ministry is contemplating whether to ask for access to the nuclear sharing program, which would allow Warsaw to boost its defenses.

This is the first time that a Polish official has made a statement of intent about wanting to host nuclear weapons on its soil.

However, the Polish Defense Ministry has issued a statement that Warsaw has not asked and is not looking to house NATO nuclear weapons on its territory, according to RIA.

However, if the plan does go ahead, it is likely to produce a fierce rebuke from Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in June that if NATO threatens Russia, Moscow will respond to the threat accordingly.

“If someone threatens our territories, it means that we will have to aim our armed forces accordingly at the territories from where the threat is coming. How else could it be? It is NATO that approaching our borders, it’s not like we are moving anywhere,” he said.

Poland has been one of NATO’s staunchest allies, since joining the alliance in 1999. It has also been keen to establish further links and in September Poland’s parliament gave the green light to President Andrzej Duda to ratify a technical agreement on establishing a US anti-missile base in Redzikowo. Under the NATO-backed plan, the facility should be operational by 2018.

The agreement in question is a part of a much-debated NATO-backed plan that was first agreed on by the US and Poland in 2008. At that time, it was claimed that the base was necessary to counter the risk of a possible missile attack from Iran or North Korea. However, an agreement has been reached with Tehran about a peaceful end to Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“We all probably remember that in April 2009 in Prague [US] President [Barack] Obama said that if the Iran nuclear program issue is sorted out, then the task of creating the European segment of the missile defense system would disappear,” Russia’s foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, said adding that Washington’s missile defense plans had no justification anymore.

After winning the Polish presidential election in May, one of Duda’s first moves was to call for more NATO troops to be stationed in the country.

“We do not want to be the buffer zone. We want to be the real eastern flank of the alliance … Today, when we look at the dispersion of bases … then the borderline is Germany,” the conservative Polish President told The Financial Times in August.

“NATO has not yet taken note of the shift of Poland from the east to the west. NATO is supposed to be here to protect the alliance …  If Poland and other central European countries constitute the real flank of NATO, then it seems natural to me, a logical conclusion, that bases should be placed in those countries,” he added.

France has changed its hardline stance on the government in Damascus, with Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius saying he no longer believes that Syrian President Bashar Assad necessarily has to step down before a political transition takes place in the war-torn country.

“The fight against Daesh [Islamic State, or ISIS/ISIL] is crucial but it will only be totally effective if all the Syrian and regional forces are united,” Fabius told the French regional newspaper Le Progres.

This marks an apparent shift of priorities by France to tackling Islamic State, which staged a series of attacks on the French capital last month, killing 130 and injuring 352 others. Until recently, Paris echoed Washington in saying that Assad’s resignation is key to any political solution to the four-year Syrian conflict. Paris has repeatedly insisted on the removal of the Syrian president describing him as a “butcher” of his own people.

Paris now seems to accept that the Syrian army has to play a role in the fight against ISIS. “The operations must be led by local forces: moderate Syrian, Arab, Kurdish, and if necessary, in coordination with the Syrian army, which is impossible without a political transition,” Fabius told Le Progres, explaining that “the experience of the recent decades, whether it is in Iraq or in Afghanistan, shows that Western forces on the ground quickly appear like occupation forces.”

Fabius did insist, however, that eventually Assad must go.

“A united Syria implies a political transition. That does not mean that Bashar al-Assad must leave even before the transition, but there must be assurances for the future,” he added.

Even so, the comments mark a sudden but clear softening of Paris’ position toward the Syrian president. Just earlier this week, French FM stated that working with the Syrian army to fight ISIS is not possible until Assad has been removed from power.

“If we achieve a political transition and it’s no longer Bashar in charge of the Syrian army, there could be joint actions against terrorism. But under Bashar it’s not possible,” Fabius told France Inter radio, speaking at the UN climate conference in Le Berget.

“It is obvious that it’s not under the leadership of Mr Assad that the army could be engaged alongside the moderate opposition,” he added on Monday.

On a trip to Washington last week, French President Francois Hollande said Assad “cannot be the future of Syria,” saying he must resign “as soon as possible” to halt civil war in the country.

Meanwhile US President Barack Obama told a news conference on Tuesday that ceasefires may soon be established in some parts of Syria, following the achievements in the Vienna negotiations by US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“What can happen is if the political process that John Kerry has so meticulously stitched together, in concert with Foreign Minister Lavrov of Russia, if that works in Vienna, then it’s possible given the existing accord that the parties have already agreed to, that we start seeing at least pockets of ceasefires in and around Syria,” Obama told reporters before leaving the global climate summit in Paris.

The US president also repeated his assertion that that Russia is welcome to join the US-led anti-ISIS coalition, on condition that it stops supporting the Syrian government.

But he added: “I don’t expect you’re going to see a 180 [degree] turn on [Russia’s] strategy over the next several weeks.”

San Bernardino Murders Expose Failure to Address Radical Islam

December 6, 2015

Source: San Bernardino Murders Expose Failure to Address Radical Islam | Jewish & Israel News Algemeiner.com

Law enforcement and intelligence officials continue to gather evidence on the motivation behind Wednesday’s mass murder in San Bernardino, California, but nearly all indications thus far suggest Islamist radicalization was a significant factor.

Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik killed 14 people at an office party for county workers (Farook’s colleagues), and later were killed in a shootout with law enforcement officers. Preliminary investigative work already has found that Farook was radicalized and communicated with extremists.

This should not surprise anyone. Steve Emerson and the Investigative Project on Terrorism have been sounding the alarm on the manifestations of radical Islam in the West for two decades.

There are consequences to ignoring weak immigration controlscaliphates in the Middle East and Libya, and Muslim Brotherhood front organizations such as the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) that have access to loud microphones, which are used routinely to divide law enforcement and American Muslims.

All of this conditions have created abundant space and time for Islamist terrorism to emerge in the West. Failed states in the Middle East facilitate the nearly unrestricted movement of jihadists under the guise of refugees across borders. And wholly owned murderous jihadist states provide the freedom to prepare and instigate attacks, as well as to write and disseminate ideology through sophisticated propaganda measures.

The threat is in fact very real.

In recent weeks, jihadists unleashed an onslaught in Paris that left 130 innocent men, women, and children dead. In February a radicalized gunman opened fire on a free speech debate and synagogue in Copenhagen. A month before, jihadists committed a massacre at the Paris office of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and at a nearby kosher market.

The San Bernardino murders prove that the US is not immune — and it’s not like it hasn’t happened before.

A California college student reportedly carrying an ISIS flag, references to Allah, and writings about beheadings recently stabbed four innocent people. In May, jihadists armed with AK-47s attacked hundreds of people at an event in Garland, Texas, that sponsored a Muhammad cartoon exhibit and contest. In 2009, Major Nidal Hasan opened fire and killed 13 people, mostly unarmed service members, at Fort Hood, screaming “Allahu Akbar.”

They were all aided and abetted by a President that is absolutely incapable of uttering the words “radical Islam.” The administration banned the words from the halls of the White House. Any reference is nowhere to be found in Obama’s statement on the most recent Paris massacre. Obama also scrubbed the FBI training manual of any text that might offend Muslims, described the Fort Hood murders as “workplace violence,” and regularly hosts top level meetings with representatives from the Muslim Brotherhood.

Law enforcement and intelligence need to conduct a thorough investigation to determine all possible causes and links to terrorist organizations, but Americans can no longer accept the administration’s willful blindness to reality.

It is Islamist terrorism. Radical Islam and all of its barbaric, evil elements fundamentally hate Western liberal democracies that are based upon basic Judeo-Christian values. Such attacks will only become more common and more violent until the President — after seven years in office — and America finally take the threat seriously.

A new ISIS video depicts executions by child

A new video by terror group ISIS released to the web on Thursday depicts indoctrinated children executing Syrian prisoners and alleged spies, while threatening President Barack Obama and Jewish people.

According to Israel’s Channel 2, the video — apparently shot in the eastern Syrian ISIS stronghold — shows ISIS leaders training children, and engaging them in a competition, the winners of which get the prize of shooting Syrian prisoners.

In one scene, a child is seen decapitating a man while threatening: “Obama, we’ll slit your throat, and we’ll do it to all the Jews.”

The video itself was called “To the Son of Jews,” and shows five alleged spies executed by gunshot, and the one beheaded. The clip begins with images of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to heavy.com, the video of the executions was shot in the deserts of Deir ez-Zor, Syria, outside an ancient ruin. The executions are carried out in the ruins themselves.

ISIS fighters have been reported near Israel’s border just outside the Golan Heights area, in southern Syria. Additionally, groups affiliated with ISIS have cropped up in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula, on Israel’s southern border, including the one that claimed responsibility for shooting down a Russian passenger jet full of tourists, killing 224 people.

Still, Israeli military leaders have said Israel’s largest threats remain Hezbollah and Hamas, which are traditionally supported by Iran, an enemy of ISIS.

Russia deploys antiaircraft missiles on warships crossing Bosphorus

Turkish military sources reported Sunday that Russian warships passing through the Bosphorus Strait on their way to and from the Middle East have started taking measures against possible Turkish airstrikes. The sources pointed out that soldiers carrying shoulder-fired missiles have been placed on the decks and near the bridges of the ships. This picture shows a Russian soldier holding such a missile on the deck of the Russian warship Caesar Kunikov, one of the largest landing ships in the Russian fleet that is capable of transporting marines along with tanks or armored vehicles.

The sources also said that a flotilla of NATO warships from Portugal, Canada and Italy arrived in Istanbul during the last few hours.
