Germany: Muslim migrant who raped and murdered EU official’s daughter lied about being a minor, Jihad Watch

(Would it be unduly cynical to suggest that the status of the victim’s father may have resulted in a more thorough investigation than would otherwise have occurred? — DM)

Not only that, but he “had been sentenced to ten years in jail in Greece after he threw a 20-year-old student off a cliff on the island of Corfu in May 2013,” yet was inexplicably released long before his sentence was up.

Clearly it isn’t just the Muslim migrants who are culpable, but the European authorities who bring them in and turn a blind eye to the crimes they commit. No doubt a tougher stance would be “Islamophobic.”

“Afghan asylum seeker charged with raping and murdering EU official’s daughter in Germany will be tried as an adult after officials find he LIED that he was a minor,” by Emily Chan, Mailonline, February 23, 2017:

An Afghan asylum seeker charged with raping and murdering the daughter of an EU official will be tried as an adult, after it was found that he lied about being a minor.

Hussein Khavari was arrested over the rape and murder of 19-year-old medical student Maria Ladenburger in Freiburg, south-west Germany, in December last year.

He claimed he was 17, which meant he could only serve a maximum of ten years in jail if found guilty.

However, a report commissioned by the prosecutor’s office has concluded that Khavari was at least 22-years-old at the time of the offence.

Maria, who worked as a volunteer to help asylum seekers and whose father is a legal adviser to the European Commission in Brussels, was found raped and drowned on October 16 last year.

Khavari, who arrived in Germany as an unaccompanied minor in 2015, was arrested after police linked his DNA to traces found at the crime scene.

Police say he ambushed Maria as she rode her bicycle home after a party in the early hours of the morning, before raping her and drowning her in a river.

Khavari has been in custody since his arrest. He remains silent on all charges and did not allow himself to be questioned by forensic medical experts.

Investigators suspected that Khavari was lying when he said he was 17, as he had already told Greek authorities he was 17 back in 2013 before he came to Germany.

The new report on his age clears the way for prosecutors to charge him as an adult, meaning that if convicted, he could face a life sentence.

Following his arrest, it emerged that he had been sentenced to ten years in jail in Greece after he threw a 20-year-old student off a cliff on the island of Corfu in May 2013….

Is This The Coup the Left Wanted?

Is This The Coup the Left Wanted?, The Resurgent, February 15, 2017

trumpandflynn

There is no evidence that Donald Trump’s campaign and Russian intelligence cooperated to steal the election from Hillary Clinton. But the New York Times waits for the third paragraph of this sensational story to tell you. First, they want you to know intelligence sources say Trump campaign staffers had multiple, repeated contacts with the Russians.

What we are seeing is an intelligence community trying to sabotage the President of the United States. We should all be concerned even if we have our own concerns about the President and Russia.

It is more and more apparent that, while Mike Flynn misled Vice President Pence and should have been fired, we only know this because members of the intelligence community engaged in an opposition research dump on Flynn with the media. They engaged as a separate and distinct branch of government, and that is a dangerous situation.

The left is cheering on the outcomes, as are some on the right, but they are all ignoring the process. When the intelligence community ceases to serve the Commander-in-Chief and instead tries to sabotage him because they do not like the direction he is taking the country, they are putting their interests ahead of the voters and the electoral process.

The same problem exists with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and its decision on the immigration order. In large part, the court based its decision on Donald Trump’s campaign statements that he wanted a Muslim ban. At first blush, that may seem legit to people but consider Barack Obama and Obamacare.

Chief Justice John Roberts upheld Obamacare’s constitutionality because he said it fell under the taxation powers of the constitution. But Barack Obama had campaigned on Obamacare saying that it was not a tax. Had the Supreme Court used President Obama’s campaign statements against him, they would have thrown out Obamacare.

While one may cheer on the outcome from the Ninth Circuit, they should not cheer the process and flawed legal reasoning.

Both the intelligence and court situation raise troubling issues. By cheering outcomes based on deeply problematic processes, people are rapidly moving towards “ends justify the means” reasoning. That will bring about the very creeping authoritarianism the left fears from Donald Trump.

They cheer this on now because it is working to their advantage as rogue leakers try to undermine a President they do not like. But it will eventually happen to them. By then they will have surrendered any and all moral high ground to cry foul.

The intelligence community serves at the pleasure of the President, not the other way around. The President must be able to depend on the intelligence community’s assessments. Right now, the intelligence community is causing a breakdown in trust with the Trump Administration through leaks designed to undermine his authority.

If a terrorist attack on our soil happens because the President felt he could no longer trust the intelligence community’s assessments, that will be on them. This behavior, in a democratic republic, must be considered unacceptable.

It is possible to be happy Mike Flynn is gone and also be deeply bothered by the means through the intelligence community designed his ouster. People on all sides should be speaking up loudly that the behavior of the intelligence community in damaging leaks is unacceptable.

Finally, we know that Mike Flynn intended to reform the intelligence community and expose side deals made with Iran to secure a diplomatic agreement. President Trump should commit to replacing Mike Flynn with someone as hell-bent on reform and exposure of the Iran deal as Mike Flynn was. The intelligence community cannot be rewarded for bad behavior that undermines the democratic processes of this nation, even if some of us are happy Mike Flynn is gone.

Austria: Muslim migrant who raped 10-year-old boy has conviction overturned

Austria: Muslim migrant who raped 10-year-old boy has conviction overturned, Jihad Watch,

He might not have known that the boy was saying no, you see. As if raping a ten-year-old boy is just fine if the boy is saying yes.

This kind of legalistic twaddle — always in favor of Muslim migrants, never at their expense — heralds the demise of Europe and the West.

“Migrant jailed for attack on boy, 10, over ‘sexual emergency’ has conviction OVERTURNED,” by Indra Warnes, Express, October 21, 2016:

AN IRAQI asylum seeker who confessed to raping a 10-year-old boy in a swimming pool, claiming it was a “sexual emergency”, has had his conviction overturned.

Amir A., 10 [sic: the victim, not the attacker, is 10], who is married with a child of his own, was visiting the Theresienbad pool in the Austrian capital of Vienna last December as part of a trip to encourage integration.

He was accompanied by a 15-year-old translator, who had befriended the schoolboy who was at the swimming pool alone.

When the youngster went to the showers, Amir A. allegedly followed him, pushed him into a toilet cubicle, and violently sexually assaulted him.

Following the attack, the accused rapist returned to the pool and was practising on the diving board when police arrived, after the 10-year-old raised the alarm with the lifeguard.

The child suffered severe anal injuries which had to be treated at a local children’s hospital, and is still plagued by serious post-traumatic stress disorder.

In a police interview, Amir A. confessed to the crime; telling officers the incident had been “a sexual emergency”, as his wife had remained in Iraq and he “had not had sex in four months”.

A court found Amir guilty of serious sexual assault and rape of a minor, and sentenced him to six years in jail.

However, in a bizarre twist, the Supreme Court today overturned the conviction, accepting the defence lawyer’s claim that the original court had not done enough to ascertain whether or not the rapist realised the child was saying no.

According to the Supreme Court President Thomas Philipp, while the verdict was “watertight” with regard to the serious sexual assault of a minor, there was not enough evidence to support the second charge of rape.

The appeal court said the initial ruling should have dealt with whether the offender thought that the victim had agreed with the sexual act, or whether he had intended to act against his will.

The sentence was therefore lifted, although Amir is expected to remain in custody until the rape case returns to the regional court next year….

Clock Boy’s Family Files Civil Rights Suit

Clock Boy’s Family Files Civil Rights Suit, Truth RevoltSarah Fisher, August 9, 2016

The family of Ahmed Mohamed has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the Texas school administration for suspending the teenager when he brought a clock to school that looked suspiciously like a bomb. The family claims the disciplinary action violated the teen’s rights and forced them to leave the United States.

Mohamed said he wanted to show the “clock” to his English teacher.

The lawsuit names Irving Independent School District, the city of Irving and the school’s principal, and asks a jury to determine the damages. In November, the family asked the district and city to pay $15 million or else face a suit. District spokeswoman Lesley Weaver said in a statement Monday that attorneys for the district will review the suit and determine a course of action.

“Irving ISD continues to deny violating the student’s rights and will respond to claims in accordance with court rules,” she said, adding that school officials for now will have no further comment.

The family has since moved to Qatar, where Mohamed was offered a scholarship to study. He was briefly in U.S. this summer to visit family and file a lawsuit.

“For the safety of my family, I have to go back to Qatar, because right now it’s not very safe for my family or for anyone who’s a minority,” Ahmed said during a news conference.

While in Texas, Ahmed said, he has to disguise himself and wear a hoodie. “I can’t walk out of the house without being covered up because I might get shot because that happens here,” he said.

The lawsuit claims Mohamed was a victim of systemic racism by the school district and the school board.

“History tells us that when we have stood tall and proud for equality and freedom, we have grown as a nation,” the suit says. “When we have given in to fear and hate, we flounder.”

The suit adds, “In the case of Ahmed Mohamed, we have the opportunity to take a stand for equality and for justice, two things that should prevail above all else.”
