“Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into the enemies of Allah and your enemies…” (Qur’an 8:60)

And it works: jihadis have struck terror in Europeans. Are European authorities going to continue to exacerbate the problem with their immigration policies?

“Christmas celebrations in Meppel canceled due to ‘Berlin,’” De Telegraaf (Google Translate), December 21, 2016:

A Christmas celebration with more than two thousand children in the town of Meppel is canceled tomorrow. The eight elementary schools and the town of Meppel concerned decided Wednesday to pull the plug out of the event because they fear for the safety of those present.

School Director and organizer Herman Langhorst says he does not want to risk something happening on a busy square full of young children.

All parents Wednesday received a letter of explanation. “Obviously events and current developments in the world played a role in our decision,” it said. It would have been the first time that there would be a Christmas celebration on such a large scale in Meppel.

According Langhorst saw the municipality no objection to the cancellation of the event, but it was the schools themselves who do not want the risk. “Everyone’s a little tense because of recent events. You do not want a panic when someone shoots off a firecracker or other fireworks. ”

The Christmas celebration for primary school pupils are now celebrated on the schools themselves. Furthermore, there is a program for groups of seven and eight in the Cross Church in Meppel.

Man who interrogated 9/11 mastermind says terrorists use political correctness to ‘spread their jihadi message’

Man who interrogated 9/11 mastermind says terrorists use political correctness to ‘spread their jihadi message’, Fox News, December 22, 2016

One of the men who interrogated 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammad told Fox News’ “The Kelly File” Wednesday that political correctness “started that chain” that led to Monday night’s truck attack on a Berlin Christmas market.

“[It] was political correctness and their unwillingness to get this person out of their country who had no business being there because he didn’t have the right paperwork to prove who he was,” said Dr. James Mitchell, referring to Anis Amri.

German authorities Wednesday named Amri as the suspect in the attack, which killed 12 people and injured 48 others, touching off a continent-wide manhunt.

Mitchell said that he and Mohammed, commonly known as KSM, had discussed the damaging potential of smaller, “lone-wolf”-style attacks more than a decade ago. Mitchell noted that Mohammed had been particularly struck by the terror caused by the 2002 D.C. sniper attacks.

“For him, what surprised him was how much paralysis it caused given how few deaths were involved, few from his perspective,” Mitchell told host Sandra Smith. “And what he said to me was our civil liberties and our openness and our willingness to be responsive to other peoples’ cultures … were weaknesses and flaws that his God, Allah, had put into the American culture so that we could be defeated.”

Mitchell added that Mohammed believed that the easiest way to win what he called “the long battle to take over the world with Sharia law” was through “through immigration and by outbreeding non-Muslims.”

“He said that like-minded jihadi brothers would immigrate to Western democracies and to the United States, they would wrap themselves in our civil liberties for protection,” Mitchell said, “they would support themselves in our welfare systems while they spread their jihadi message, and then, when the time was right, they would rise up and attack.”

In response to the terror threat, Mitchell called for the U.S. to restrict immigration from countries that promote terrorism, adopting President-elect Donald Trump’s proposal from the recent election campaign.

“I hope there’s gonna be change,” Mitchell said of Trump’s election, “because here’s the way political correctness works for a guy like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed: It allows them to operate in our midst without being challenged.

A terror network may be using Amri as a decoy

A terror network may be using Amri as a decoy, DEBKAfile, December 22, 2014

Even if 23-year-old Anis Amri was at the wheel of the deadly truck, he is likely to have made good his escape by now across Europe’s open borders, possibly planting false leads behind him. He may even be a useful decoy to throw German and European security services off the scent the network – hence the fingerprint in the cab –  while he and his accomplices set up their next terrorist assault.

***************************

On Thursday, December 22, three days after the truck attack in the center of Berlin, Germany’s seven intelligence and security services, along with the Berlin police and national police, were still unsure of the identities of the terrorists who killed 12 people and injured 48. This was even after a fingerprint in the death truck was reported to have matched those of the fugitive 23-year old Tunisian, Anis Amri.

Named the prime suspect, a 100,000-euro reward has been offered for information leading to his capture, making him Europe’s most wanted man.

The stolen truck’s driver, Polish citizen Lukasz Urban, who would have been the only person to identify the terrorists, was found dead of stabbing and gunshot wounds.

Nothing about the way the ramming attack on the Christmas market was carried out points to a spontaneous or freelance outrage springing for the mind of a lone individual. A gang of terrorists must have carried out the hijacking of the semi-trailer in Berlin at the destination for its iron shipment in a busy industrial district northwest of the center in the quiet afternoon hours. It would have been an easy place for their terrorists to snatch their latest weapon of multiple death before driving it to the Christmas market.

The truck driver put up a fight before he was murdered, but strangely enough, no one noticed. He had just informed the company that employed him that he had arrived at the factory entrance after 3:00pm – too late to make the delivery – and was told to return the next morning.

When the company called him back a short time later, there was no answer.

Rhere is no record for the hours between the hijacking and the moment that the truck ploughed into the crowds buying gifts for the festival at one of Berlin’s open-air markets.

Shortly before 8pm, about 30 minutes before the attack, the truck’s GPS device tracked the vehicle moving erratically and traveling in circles. The Polish owners suspected that the truck had been stolen and was being driven by someone other than Urban.

The terrorists then had a little more than five hours to wait until the evening. During that time they practiced driving the truck round to learn how to use it.

DEBKAfile’s intelligence and counterterrorism sources report that German intelligence services already understand that the market outrage was the work of an experienced terror network, more sophisticated than previous truck attacks, such as the one in the French Riviera city of Nice in July, whose perpetrator was intent on suicide after murdering 86 people.

Shortly before slamming into the market, they disconnected part of the vehicle’s electrical systems, including the headlights, and disabled the GPS transmitter. The person or persons in the cab of Urban’s truck snuck away and vanished like ghosts. Nobody saw them. The network members were clearly familiar with Berlin’s main roads, crowded public areas, busiest hours and Christmas shopping centers. Unlike former attacks in Paris and Brussels, they planned the assault down to the smallest details, including their getaway and survival.

UK: Bristol police step up patrols to combat “Islamophobia” after Berlin jihad attack

UK: Bristol police step up patrols to combat “Islamophobia” after Berlin jihad attack, Jihad Watch

Because everyone knows that the first and only victims of every jihad terror attack are Muslims, and that the main responsibility of non-Muslim authorities after every such attack is to make sure that no one associates it with Islam, and that there is plenty of news about how the Muslim community is bracing for a “backlash” that never materializes.

But this is bordering on self-parody. If Britain isn’t finished, it sure does want people to think it is.

“Bristol police step up patrols to combat Islamophobia after Berlin Christmas market attack,” by L_Churchill, Bristol Post, December 21, 2016:

Police in Bristol have stepped up patrols in the city centre due to concerns about Islamophobia in the wake of the Berlin terror attack.

The Christmas markets in the German city were the target of a terrorist attack on Monday where a lorry was driven into crowds of people, killing 12 and injuring another 48.

Since then mounted police officers, bobbies on the beat and PCSOs have been spotted around the Bristol Christmas market in Broadmead.

Chief Superintendent Jon Reilly, area commander for Bristol, confirmed patrols had been increased in the city centre.

He said: “Following previous terror attacks across mainland Europe we have seen an increase in the number of reported Islamophobic hate crimes in the Avon and Somerset area.

“We have subsequently increased patrols in areas of Bristol which have high footfall in order to provide additional reassurance and to act as a visible deterrent. We also hope it will aid and encourage reporting of any hate crimes or incidents should they occur.

“We want those who are victims of hate crime to feel confident in the belief that we’ll take their reports seriously, protect them and make sure they get all the support they need….

To Islamists, the Germans are a bunch of cowards

To Islamists, the Germans are a bunch of cowards, Israel National News, Giulio Meotti, December 21, 2016

It is no secret that Islamists consider the Germans as a bunch of cowards. “You love life, we love death”, they continue to repeat. Because wherever they look, the combatants of Allah see only people and governments only too ready to capitulate.

And Germany is Europe’s soft underbelly. The Bundeswehr, Germany’s army, already belongs to history; the country has welcomed more than one million Muslims; German ministers envision the creation of an “official Islam”, while German churches are closing at weekly rhythm; the Sharia courts are already operating; comedians such as Jan Bohmermann are criminalized and the “night of Cologne” with its mass sexual attacks on women has already been justified by feminists and multiculturalists.

We could have hailed a meaningful change in the German policy toward Islamic terrorism if the day after the carnage at the Christmas market in Berlin, a couple of German war planes had bombed the Islamists’ bases in the Middle East and pulverized a few dozen of them.

Nothing happened. Nothing will happen.

Through these random attacks, Muslims are now trying to understand if and how they can defeat the West. They poured into the streets to demonstrate against the caricatures of Mohammed and found themselves at movie theaters to celebrate the defeat of the Americans in Iraq. They understood that they can succeed.

Following the appeal launched by Günter Grass following the terrorist attack of September 11 (“the West should wonder what went wrong”), German “civil society” preferred to criticize itself rather than questioning the tangle of feelings that animates the warriors of Allah. They reacted like someone who is threatened by a hurricane does: accumulating supplies, nailing doors and windows and praying that the storm will end as soon as possible.

But Islamic fundamentalists are different: if they don’t encounter any resistance, they will act and strike in a more resolute way. And in this sense, they have every reason to consider the West and Germany to be weak, decadent and incapable of defending itself. If you are targeted by beheadings and kidnappings, bombings and shootings, and you react through hysterical outbursts about a “dialogue between cultures,” you will get more violence.

Twelve good Germans have just been assassinated during the Christmas holiday. The day after the carnage, the multicultural festival resumed as if nothing bad had happen. Christian leaders called for more “dialogue” (Italy’s head bishop, Monsignor Galantino, said that religion has nothing to do with the attack).

But it is also very ironic: the dialogue these drunken multiculturalists want so establish with the Muslim world will have to take place over orange juice and mineral water. Teetotal submission.
