The Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry’s visit to Israel Sunday, July 10 and the two conversations he held with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that day underscored the intensified ties between the two governments and their leaders, President Abdel-Fatteh El-Sisi and the prime minister. The Palestinian issue rated a mention in passing, mostly as useful camouflage to disguise the real business under discussion. This, DEBKAfile’s intelligence sources reveal, revolved around a fresh update on the Syrian war and most of all on the sudden reversal of Syria’s Bashar Assad’s fortunes from wanted war criminal, whose head the US and its president Barack Obama demanded, to the master of a regime and army which is suddenly in the highest demand – even by Obama – as the only reliable military force capable of pursuing the war on jihadi terror, especially ISIS.
This astonishing reversal came to the fore in the last week of June. While putting the final touches on his reconciliation pact with Israel after six years of discord, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan sent his intelligence chiefs on a clandestine mission to meet Assad’s aides and test the ground for burying the hatchet with him too.
This move was not taken into account by Netanyahu. Erdogan acted on the quiet, while in the midst of yet another maneuver, this one advanced talks for mending relations with the Egyptian president with the help of Algerian mediators who are flitting between Ankara and Cairo, DEBKAfile’s sources report.
While taking briefings from his foreign minister on the talks in Jerusalem, El-Sisi tried to assess whether Erdogan’s feelers to Assad would ripen into a deal between them If so, the Turkish leader was perfectly capable of jumping aboard the Iranian-Syrian-Hizballah lineup on the Shiite side of the Middle East map and ditching the moves led by Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE for a counter-alignment of Sunni nations.
The answer to this question will determine whether Iran’s position in Syria is strengthened or weakened.
Egypt and Israel share a strong common interest in this answer.
Meanwhile the balance of military strength in the region underwent a radical change with the delivery to the Egyptian Navy of its first helicopter carrier, an advanced Mistral-class vessel made in France and paid for by Saudi Arabia to the tune of half a billion dollars.
The second carrier is due later this year.
These acquisitions substantially upgrade Egypt’s military capabilities as the only power operating in the region in possession of helicopter carriers except Russia.
The highly versatile French amphibious assault ship, equipped with state-of the-art radar navigation and missile defense systems, can carry 16 helicopters plus a battalion of 40 Leclerc tanks and 450 soldiers. This makes the Egyptian navy the primary sea and air arm for defending the shores of the Sinai Peninsula, Suez Canal, the Gulf of Suez, the Red Sea and the approaches to the Gulf of Aqaba – not just against Islamist terrorists but also Iranian expansion.
Since the Saudi, Egyptian and Emirate governments are in close military and intelligence sync for combating the two threats, the Egyptian foreign minister had plenty of urgent business to discuss with Netanyahu.

Judge Jeanine’s favorable comments about Black Lives Matter reflect common misconceptions, which I had shared until recently. The El Paso police chief made the comments on Black Lives Matter quoted below:
“Black Lives Matter, as far as I am concerned, is a radical hate group,” he said. “And for that purpose alone, I think the leadership of this country needs to look a little bit harder at that particular group. The consequences of what we saw in Dallas is due to their efforts.” [Emphasis added.]
According to the El Paso Times, Allen is the first black police chief in the city’s history. He’s been in charge of the department—one of the country’s largest—since 2007. And during his tenure, the city has been consistently ranked as one of the safest large cities in America. [Emphasis added.]

On July 9th, there were large protests across the nation.
BATON ROUGE, La./MINNEAPOLIS (Reuters) – Protests against the shootings of two black men by police officers shut down main arteries in a number of U.S. cities on Saturday, leading to numerous arrests, scuffles and injuries in confrontations between police and demonstrators.
Undeterred by heightened concerns about safety at protests after a lone gunman killed five police officers in Dallas Thursday night, organizers went ahead with marches in the biggest metropolis, New York City, and Washington D.C., the nation’s capital, among other cities.
It was the third straight day of widespread protests after the fatal shooting of Alton Sterling, 37, by police in Baton Rouge on Tuesday and the death of Philando Castile, 32, on Wednesday night in a St. Paul, Minnesota suburb, cities which both saw heated protests on Saturday.
The most recent shooting deaths by police come after several years of contentious killings by law enforcement officers, including that of Michael Brown, a teenager whose death in the summer of 2014 caused riots and weeks of protests in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson.
On Saturday evening, hundreds of protesters shut down I-94, a major thoroughfare linking the Twin Cities, snarling traffic.
Protesters, told to disperse, threw rocks, bottles and construction rebar at officers, injuring at least three, St. Paul police said. Police made arrests and used smoke bombs and marking rounds to disperse the crowd. [Emphasis added.]

Organizations supportive of and related to Black Lives Matter
The “lead organizer” of the Dallas Black Lives Matter protest at which five police officers were murdered and others killed was apparently a quasi Muslim convert who combined “Christian” and Islamist teachings in his sermons.
A Breitbart News review of Jeff Hood’s internet footprint revealed regular posts about the apocalypse, violent retribution to police, and Hood even recently posted about the 2013 death of a self proclaimed “social justice warrior” who committed suicide by lighting himself on fire in front of a shopping mall in Texas.
Breitbart Texas’ Brandon Darby tweeted about protest organizer Jeff Hood wanting to “create a space for anger and rage” at the Dallas protest.
Dallas protest organizer @revjeffhood told Dallas Morning News he wanted to “create a space for anger and rage” against police.
Reverend Hood closely follows police shootings and state executions and regularly prays for divine retribution for police, like this post in response to a police shooting in Dallas from April 24, 2015:
For now, the blood of black men will continue to roll down driveways, streets and sidewalks with impunity. However, God is not mocked. The judgment is coming. Those police who continue to spill the blood of black men will be held accountable…for black blood matters just as much as any other blood to God.
According to Pamela Geller, the shooter (Micah Johnson) “was a Facebook member of The Nation of Islam and Black Liberation Party, Obama’s old stomping grounds.” His Arabic name was “Fahed Hassen, according to Denver Police Department.”

The Nation of Islam is not an orthodox Muslim group, and subscribes to a great deal of racial mythology that is nowhere in Islamic tradition. It is, however, also true that many black Americans first enter the Nation, and then become orthodox Sunni Muslims. And given the increased racial tensions of the Obama era, many people in both the NOI and among mainstream Sunnis have a taste for the “revolution” that is brought about by means of jihad. In his post linked immediately above, Mr. Spencer quotes from an article posted at The Australian [subscription required] on July 9, 2016:
As the FBI and local authorities launched an investigation, their focus was expected to probe militant black rights groups set up in Dallas. Anti-police groups include the New Black Panther Party and Huey P. Newton Gun Club, named after the founder of the 1960s activist Black Panther Party.
I wonder whether the FBI, et al, focused as expected but which CAIR, et al, would have resisted.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), as well as other Islamist groups, have been quite supportive of Black Lives Matter.
The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other Islamic supremacist groups have assiduously courted Black Lives Matter, and linked their propaganda efforts against “Islamophobia” to the Black Lives Matter stand against perceived racism. A March 13th article by Kyle Shideler, referenced by the article immediately above, states
Once the dust settled, last week’s protest of a Donad Trump rally in Chicago demonstrated a growing nexus between Islamist groups in the United States and the radical leftist “Black Lives Matter” movement.
This rhetoric of unity between these movements was clearly on display at the 2015 joint conference of the 2015 Muslim American Society (MAS) and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). MAS was described by federal prosecutors as the “overt arm” of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood, and ICNA is recognized as the front for the Pakistani Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) founded by one of the foremost thinkers on modern Jihad, Syed Abul A’la Maududi.
At the event, MAS leader Khalilah Sabra openly discussed the importance of Muslim support for Black Lives Matter, and urged “revolution.” Comparing the situation in the United States to the Muslim Brotherhood-led Arab Spring revolutions, she asked, “We are the community that staged a revolution across the world; if we can do that, why can’t we have that revolution in America?” [Emphasis added.]
Reporting on this merging “revolutionary” alliance goes back as far as the first outbreak of disorder in Ferguson. Few may recall the attendance at Michael Brown’s funeral of CAIR executive director Nihad Awad. Awad was identified in federal court as a member of the Palestine Committee, a covert group of Muslim Brothers dedicated to supporting Hamas in the United States.
CAIR joined other groups named by federal law enforcement as Muslim Brotherhood organizations and lined up behind the Ferguson protests.
In November of 2014, Fox News reported on an effort by CAIR Michigan Director Dawud Walid to link the death of Michael Brown at the hands of police and the death of Luqman Abdullah, a Detroit imam shot during an FBI raid. [Emphasis added.]
Abdullah was described by the FBI as a leader of a nationwide Islamic organization known as “The Ummah,” run by convicted cop-killer Jamil Abdullah Amin. Abdullah’s group engaged in criminal activity in order to raise funds in order for an effort to establish Sharia law in opposition to the U.S. government. [Emphasis added.]
Amin and CAIR have a long association together, with CAIR providing funding for Amin’s legal defense, and issuing numerous press releases in support of the Georgia radical imam and former Black Panther.
While this linkage of Islamist front groups to radical racial politics may seem a relatively new development, the reality is it has been the result of a nearly four decade long effort by Islamist groups. A major thinker on this effort was a Pakistani immigrant and ICNA leader named Shamim A. Siddiqui, who knew JeI founder Maududi personally. Siddiqui wrote his work, Methodology of Dawah Il Allah in American Perspective in 1989.
The shooter in Dallas who killed five policemen and wounded others had been a member of the New Black Panther Party, about which the Obama administration has simply laughed.
In 2009 and 2010, lawyers working at the United States Justice Department warned top Obama political appointees and other Justice Department officials about the dangerous threats of New Black Panthers to kill police officers and other whites. I was one of those lawyers who delivered those warnings. [Emphasis added.]
Our warnings came in the context of the Voting Rights Act case I and other lawyers brought against the New Black Panthers on behalf of the United States in 2009, a case the Obama administration ultimately abandoned. Both top DOJ officials, including now Labor Secretary Tom Perez, as well as rank and file employees in the Civil Rights Division, were warned but did not take the New Black Panther threat seriously or otherwise considered the organization to be a laughable joke. Bob Price has this piece: Confirmed: Dallas Shooter was Member of Houston New Black Panther Party. The story has a disturbing video of an armed New Black Panther march in Texas where the armed uniformed panthers chant – “Off the pig,” and “Oink, oink, bang, bang.” They also note “Revolution has come. Time to pick up the gun.” The piece states:
One of the members holding an AR-15 style rifle appears to be Micah Xavier Johnson. During the march, the armed members of the New Black Panther Party stood off against Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies who came to Waller County responding to a request for assistance from Sheriff Glenn Smith

Obama’s plans
In response to public concerns about potential Islamist terror attacks, Obama turned the nation’s “war on terror” into a “Countering Violent Extremism” (CVE) farce, the focus of which has been largely on promoting the agenda of CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamist organizations. To that end, the Department of Homeland Security has stricken the study of Islam from its teaching materials and banned the use of words such a “jihad” from the lexicon of Federal law enforcement officials. Its primary focus has been on combating “Islamophobia,” rather than on preventing Islamic terror attacks.
Obama appears to have comparable plans to deal with public concerns about potential attacks by members of Black Lives Matter and other racist groups.
President Barack Obama is harnessing the increasing attacks on police in Dallas — and the periodic shootings of people by stressed cops — to push his agenda to federalize state and local police forces. [Emphasis added.]
“I want to start moving on constructive actions that are actually going to make a difference,” he said during his evening press conference in Poland when he was asked about the Dallas attack.
Those actions, he said, would be based on the recommendations of the panel that he picked after the 2014 street riots in Ferguson, Missouri. The panel offered “practical concrete solutions that can reduce — if not eliminate — the problems of racial bias,” Obama said. [Emphasis added.]
Racial bias on the part of whom? Police? The public at large? Or racist organizations such as The Nation of Islam, the New Black Panther Party and Black Lives Matter?
The dramatic shootings are an opportunity to push that agenda, Obama said. “If my voice has been true and positive, my hope would be that… [the panel] surfaces problems, it frames them, it allows us to wrestle with these issue and try to come up with practical solutions,” he said. [Emphasis added.]
Obama began touting the panel’s recommendations in March 2015. The report, titled “President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing Report,” was published in May 2015.
The report urges the federal government to federalize police training and practices, via the use of federal lawsuits, grants and threats to cut federal aid. So far, Obama’s deputies have cajoled and sued more than 30 police jurisdictions to adopt federal rules in a slow-motion creation of a national police system, similar to the slow-motion creation of a federal-run health-sector via Obamacare. [Emphasis added.]
Obama also used the press conference to insulate his federalized police program — and his allies in the Black Live Matter movement — from popular rejection after the five police were murdered by the anti-cop African-American in Dallas. [Emphasis added.]
“The danger is that we somehow think the act of a troubled person speaks to some larger political statement across the country — it doesn’t,” Obama insisted. [Emphasis added.]
Conclusions
As suggested by Matthew Vadum at Front Page Magazine in an article about the Dallas murders,
The ambush-style mass shooting of cops in Dallas, Texas, last night makes it clear that it is time for the dangerous, anti-American insurgency called Black Lives Matter to be designated a terrorist organization for fomenting a war against the nation’s law enforcement officers.

President Barack Obama . . . has long tried to provoke civil unrest here in the U.S. with his hateful anti-cop rhetoric and his relentless demonization of opponents. His goal is fundamental transformation of the United States. A Red diaper baby who identifies violence-espousing communist Frantz Fanon as an intellectual influence, he has also steadfastly refused to condemn the explicitly racist, violent Black Lives Matter movement. In fact Obama has lavished attention on the movement’s leaders and invited them to the White House over and over again. [Emphasis added.]
Obama has done the same for the Islamist movement CAIR
Members of the Democratic National Committee expressly endorsed Black Lives Matter, throwing their lot in with black racists and radical Black Power militants. The DNC officially embraced a statement that slams the U.S. for allegedly systemic police violence against black people. A resolution passed by hundreds of delegates at the DNC meeting in Minneapolis last year accuses the nation’s police of “extrajudicial killings of unarmed African American men, women and children.” [Emphasis addes.]
The Left persists in these lies because, well, that’s what these people do.
Hillary would bring us at least one more term of Obama. As He has stated, She is the best qualified candidate to continue His fundamental transformation of America.
Will “we the vulgarians people” give Hitlary that opportunity? Do we hold America in as profound contempt as do Obama and Clinton, as well as the various racist and Islamist organizations they favor?
We still have our grand old flag.
After November 8th, will we deserve her? Or will we have to lower her for the last time? Doing so would doubtless make Obama truly “proud” of His fundamentally transformed “America.”

So the motives of Dallas mass killer who said he “wanted to kill white people” and cops, who was a follower of terrorist groups like the Nation of Islam, Black Liberation Theology and Black Lives Matter are “very hard to untangle.” But every time there is a police shooting, Obama says it’s because police officers are racist. Sounds like Louis Farrakhan, but no, it’s your President.
Hours before the Dallas mass murder, Obama said this of police shootings where the details were unclear (and are still) and little known:
“But regardless of the outcome of such investigations, what’s clear is that these fatal shootings are not isolated incidents. They are symptomatic of the broader challenges within our criminal justice system, the racial disparities that appear across the system year after year, and the resulting lack of trust that exists between law enforcement and too many of the communities they serve.”
But:
In the aftermath of mass jihad slaughters in San Bernardino, Chattanooga, Orlando, Paris, Belgium and attempted mass murder at my free speech event in Garland, Texas, Obama said Islam is a religion of peace and that none of these Islamic attacks had anything to do with Islam.
When jihad army major Nidal Hasan opened fire on fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, screaming “Allahu akbar,” President Obama said don’t rush to judgement. Finally his administration settled on “workplace violence” as the motive, despite Hasan’s jihad declarations.
When our Ambassador and three attaches were murdered in cold blood in Benghazi, President Obama said, “the future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”
Obama remains silent on black-on-black crime, most notably in his own hometown, where Chicago’s death toll is almost equal to that of both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, combined.

During a press briefing at the 2016 NATO summit in Warsaw, Poland Saturday, President Barack Obama claimed to have no idea of the motives behind the murders of five Dallas police officers last week.
A reporter for The Associated Press asked Obama to “help us understand how you would describe” the motives of the Dallas gunman.“First of all, I think it’s very hard to untangle the motives of this shooter,” the president answered. “I’ll leave that to psychologists and people who study these kinds of incidents…I think the danger is that we somehow suggest the act of a troubled individuals speaks to some larger political statement across the country.”
Dallas police chief David Brown, during his own press briefing following the carnage, said that the suspected shooter “wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.”
Obama has mentioned on more than one occasion that he gets his information on the day’s events from commercial news sources.
Brown’s comments were widely distributed on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News Channel and CNN. They were also more than likely reported on MSNBC CNBC and Fox Business Network.
Maybe his television was on the fritz that day. Or maybe the police chief’d remarks didn’t fit the administration’s narrative, which was succinctly tweeted by The Daily Wire’s editor in chief Ben Shapiro.

For years, I have written and warned of the catastrophic consequences of Obama’s sharia-compliant national security policies. Obama scrubbed all counterterror materials of the jihad doctrine and Islam.

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who is reportedly being vetted by Donald Trump as a potential running mate, was fired as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in the winter of 2014 after three decades in the military. Here he tells the real story of his departure from his post and why America is not getting any closer to winning the war on terror.
Two years ago, I was called into a meeting with the undersecretary of defense for intelligence and the director of national intelligence, and after some “niceties,” I was told by the USDI that I was being let go from DIA. It was definitely an uncomfortable moment (I suspect more for them than me).
I asked the DNI (Gen. James Clapper) if my leadership of the agency was in question and he said it was not; had it been, he said, they would have relieved me on the spot.
I knew then it had more to do with the stand I took on radical Islamism and the expansion of al Qaeda and its associated movements. I felt the intel system was way too politicized, especially in the Defense Department. After being fired, I left the meeting thinking, “Here we are in the middle of a war, I had a significant amount of combat experience (nearly five years) against this determined enemy on the battlefield and served at senior levels, and here it was, the bureaucracy was letting me go.” Amazing.
At the time, I was working very hard to change the culture of DIA from one overly focused on Washington, DC, to a culture that focused on our forward-based war fighters and commanders. It was not an easy shift, but it was necessary and exactly the reason I was put into the job in the first place.
In the end, I was pissed but knew that I had maintained my integrity and was determined in the few months I had left to continue the changes I was instituting and to keep beating the drum about the vicious enemy we were facing (still are).
I would not change a lick how I operate. Our country has too much at stake.
We’re in a global war, facing an enemy alliance that runs from Pyongyang, North Korea, to Havana, Cuba, and Caracas, Venezuela. Along the way, the alliance picks up radical Muslim countries and organizations such as Iran, al Qaeda, the Taliban and Islamic State.
That’s a formidable coalition, and nobody should be shocked to discover that we are losing the war.
If our leaders were interested in winning, they would have to design a strategy to destroy this global enemy. But they don’t see the global war. Instead, they timidly nibble around the edges of the battlefields from Africa to the Middle East, and act as if each fight, whether in Syria, Iraq, Nigeria, Libya or Afghanistan, can be peacefully resolved by diplomatic effort.
This approach is doomed. We have real enemies, dedicated to dominating and eventually destroying us, and they are not going to be talked out of their hatred. Iran, for example, declared war on the United States in 1979 — that’s 37 years ago — and has been killing Americans ever since. Every year, the State Department declares Iran to be the world’s primary supporter of terror. Do you think we’ll nicely and politely convince them to be good citizens and even (as President Obama desires) a responsible ally supporting peace? Do you think ISIS or the Taliban wants to embrace us?No, we’re not going to talk our way out of this war, nor can we escape its horrors. Ask the people in San Bernardino or South Florida, or the relatives of the thousands killed on 9/11. We’re either going to win or lose. There is no other “solution.”
I believe we can and must win. This war must be waged both militarily and politically; we have to destroy the enemy armies and combat enemy doctrines. Both are doable. On military battlefields, we have defeated radical Islamic forces every time we have seriously gone after them, from Iraq to Afghanistan. Their current strength is not a reflection of their ability to overwhelm our armed forces, but rather the consequence of our mistaken and untimely withdrawal after demolishing them.
We have failed to challenge their jihadist doctrines, even though their true believers only number a small fraction of the Muslim world, and even though everybody, above all most living Muslims, knows that the Islamic world is an epic failure, desperately needing economic, cultural and educational reform of the sort that has led to the superiority of the West.
So first of all, we need to demolish the terror armies, above all in the Middle East and Libya. We have the wherewithal, but lack the will. That has to change. It’s hard to imagine it happening with our current leaders, but the next president will have to do it.
As we defeat them on the ground, we must clearly and forcefully attack their crazy doctrines. Defeat on battlefields does great damage to their claim to be acting as agents of divine will. After defeating al Qaeda in Iraq, we should have challenged the Islamic world and asked: “How did we win? Did Allah change sides?”
We need to denounce them as false prophets, as we insist on the superiority of our own political vision. This applies in equal measure to the radical secular elements of the enemy coalition. Is North Korea some sort of success story? Does anyone this side of a university seminar think the Cuban people prefer the Castros’ tyranny to real freedom? Is Vladimir Putin a model leader for the 21st-century world?
Just as the Muslim world has failed, so the secular tyrants have wrecked their own countries. They hate us in part because they know their own peoples would prefer to live as we do. They hope to destroy us before they have to face the consequences of their many failures.
Remember that Machiavelli insisted that tyranny is the most unstable form of government.
It infuriates me when our president bans criticism of our enemies, and I am certain that we cannot win this war unless we are free to call our enemies by their proper names: radical jihadis, failed tyrants, and so forth.
With good leadership, we should win. But we desperately need good leaders to reverse our enemies’ successes.

The Dallas SWAT team has deployed to the downtown police headquarters after what is being called a “credible threat” was received.

UPDATE 6:52 p.m.: WFAA is reporting police had earlier made verbal contact with someone in the garage. The person retreated and disappeared.
UPDATE 6:52 p.m.: DPD asking reporters to get back from the scene.
UPDATE 6:49 p.m.: Reporter reminding folks that there was an attack on June 13, 2015. Jame Boulware shot at the Dallas PD headquarters from an armored van. Breitbart Texas covered that event.
UPDATE 6:48 p.m.: Fox 4 reporter has great sources from inside Dallas PD and has a police officer in his family. Two females that work for Dallas PD saw someone in the parking lot, which should be secure from others, and the man had some sort of mask, maybe even a gas mask on his face.
UPDATE 6:46 p.m.: DPD preparing to blow another lock. Officers are conducting a systematic search of the parking garage.
UPDATE 6:45 p.m. DPD reports they are not on lockdown. Earlier reports from local news outlets were not correct.
UPDATE 6:40 p.m.: There have been no shots fired, reports CBSDFW. SWAT blew up a lock to enter a secured area.
UPDATE 6:38 p.m.: Fox 4 News reports that Dallas PD employees, unknown whether civilians or police officers, saw the suspects of unknown race, face completely covered.
UPDATE 6:37: Fox 4 News reporting that someone put something under a vehicle. It could take sometime to sweep the tall building.
UPDATE 6:35 p.m.: CBSDFW Jason Garrett reoprts what appears to be a large group of people on the other side of the police HQ who appear to have been taken out of the building. Also, the man who was praying, yelling, and singing in the front has now ended his vigil.
UPDATE 6:33 p.m.: CBSDFW’s Lopez is now reporting that someone is verified to be in the garage who is not supposed to be there. “This is the real deal,” her sources told her.

UPDATE 6:30 p.m.: Man outside police memorial at DPD HQ is now singing “Amazing Grace.”
UPDATE 6:26 p.m.: CBSDFW’s Lopez said police sources are telling her they are taking this threat “very seriously” and that she needs to get back away from the area. She said a man was seen on the roof of the garage that is only open to police personnel.
UPDATE 6:24 p.m.: CBSDFW reports civilians are still out in front of the police headquarters. One man is on his knees shouting loudly at the memorial He had earlier been seen praying.
UPDATE 6:17 p.m.: Fox News is reporting multiple officers with guns drawn. The officers are “training the guns” on the parking garage.

UPDATE 6:12 p.m.: CBSDFW is reporting that at least one person from the Houston group has been seen in the Dallas area.
UPDATE 6:10 p.m.: WFAA is reporting the Dallas PD has initiated a “city-wide” roll call to verify the safety of every police officer in the city.
UPDATE 6:05 p.m.: WFAA reporter Rebecca Lopez said police told her they were looking for one man in the DPD parking garage. She was told to get back immediately. Many heavily armed SWAT officers were seen around the building with their rifles in a ready position.

WFAA is reporting the Dallas police headquarters building is in lockdown and a SWAT team has been deployed after a threat was received. In a prepared statement Saturday evening, the Dallas PD said, “The Dallas Police Department received an anonymous threat against law enforcement across the city and has taken precautionary measures to heightened security.”
Dallas police are saying they received a credible threat that a group from Houston is claiming to be armed and headed to Dallas with the intent to kill more police officers, according to KTRK ABC13 in Houston.
WFAA has reporters on the scene who are saying multiple SWAT vehicles and personnel are on the scene.
Reporters from Dallas said officers told them shots had been fired and an ambulance was seen on-site.

German President Joachim Gauck was booed and attacked by droves of people at a celebration of the 116th German hiking day in Sebnitz, Saxony. The people repeatedly shouted “Traitor!”, “Get out!”, “We don’t want STASI Pigs” and “We are the people!”. One man, carrying his young son on his shoulders, appears to have spit on him whilst exclaiming insults. Other citizens were heard saying “You killed our children” and “What have you done to us?”. They were blocked by police in riot gear, to whom they said “You are protecting warmongers, shame on you!” The situation escalated and the riot police was forced to use pepper spray.
Official German State TV and State Radio reports are that “a handful of right wing extremists” have attacked the president and disturbed the otherwise peaceful and welcoming reception of the President. This is simply not the case, as seen in the video.
Heiko Maas, the German Justice Minister, called the attackers “cowards who insult the president because of their personal frustration”. He himself was booed off the stage as a traitor by hundreds of Germans at the annual Labor Day celebration on the 1st of May. He said that they will be persecuted immediately, as “it cannot be allowed that such a tiny minority has influence on the political climate in Germany”.

President Barack Obama is harnessing the increasing attacks on police in Dallas — and the periodic shootings of people by stressed cops — to push his agenda to federalize state and local police forces.
“I want to start moving on constructive actions that are actually going to make a difference,” he said during his evening press conference in Poland when he was asked about the Dallas attack.
Those actions, he said, would be based on the recommendations of the panel that he picked after the 2014 street riots in Ferguson, Missouri. The panel offered “practical concrete solutions that can reduce — if not eliminate — the problems of racial bias,” Obama said.
The dramatic shootings are an opportunity to push that agenda, Obama said. “If my voice has been true and positive, my hope would be that… [the panel] surfaces problems, it frames them, it allows us to wrestle with these issue and try to come up with practical solutions,” he said.
Obama began touting the panel’s recommendations in March 2015. The report, titled “President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing Report,” was published in May 2015.
The report urges the federal government to federalize police training and practices, via the use of federal lawsuits, grants and threats to cut federal aid. So far, Obama’s deputies have cajoled and sued more than 30 police jurisdictions to adopt federal rules in a slow-motion creation of a national police system, similar to the slow-motion creation of a federal-run health-sector via Obamacare.
Obama also used the press conference to insulate his federalized police program — and his allies in the Black Live Matter movement — from popular rejection after the five police were murdered by the anti-cop African-American in Dallas.
“The danger is that we somehow think the act of a troubled person speaks to some larger political statement across the country — it doesn’t,” Obama insisted.
Obama shrugged off growing criticism that his own anti-cop statements helped trigger the shootings in Dallas and several other cities on Thursday and Friday. “It is very hard to untangle to motives of this [Dallas] shooter … you have a troubled mind … what feeds it, what sets it off, I’ll leave that to psychologists and people who study these kids of incidents.”
Throughout his press conference, Obama tried to play the role of national healer. “As painful as this week has been, I firmly believe that America is not as divided as some have suggested. Americans of all races and all backgrounds are rightly outraged by the inexcusable attacks on police … that includes protestors, it includes family members who have grave concerns about police conduct, and they’ve said that this is unacceptable, there is no division there,” he said.

Former NYPD detective Bo Dietl told Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannn that there is no leadership with President Barack Obama: “You have no leadership. This guy should be back on his plane. Get your butt back here to the United States. Your country. You’ll lose it–because he divided this country. I’ve never seen race relations so bad.”
Dietl continued:
I go back to the sixties; that’s how it was. And he brought these race relations back so bad when he started up with his mouth with Ferguson before they knew what happened there. He had to open his mouth with the guy in Florida. All these shootings; he doesn’t even know what he’s talking about.
“This brings back memories,” said Dietl, “And I was a cop.” He added:
In the early seventies, we had the Black Liberation Army that killed one year, 13 cops and another year, 11 cops. This brings me to the frightfulness of those years when they were assassinating cops in New York. People forget we just had two hero New York City cops that were assassinated a year-and-a-half ago because of this Mayor Big Bird here in New York allowing people to shut the streets down. “What do we want? Dead Cops. When Do we want them? Now!” And they assassinated those cops.
Dietl also faulted President Obama for his statements on the recent police shootings before any formal investigation was completed. “You can’t have a statement come onboard and make statements like that,” said Dietl. “This has to be investigated, and we have to find out exactly what happened.”
“We’re dealing with the assassination of five police officers” regarding Thursday night’s shootings in Dallas, he went on.
“Right now, we’re grieving five hero police officers, who ran right into the line of fire,” continued Dietl. “We have hundreds of thousands of cops across this country. We have tens of millions of incidents between police officers and people. People don’t realize in the last week there were over five shootings with cops also with white Americans, not just African Americans.” Dietl made the points that when you look at the number of contacts between police and civilians, then look at the percentage of actual incidents like the two currently in the news, the perspective changes.
