Steve Bannon Leaves the White House

Steve Bannon Leaves the White House, Front Page MagazineDavid Horowitz and Matthew Vadum, August 21, 2017

He will now be a general to the troops on whom Trump’s future depends, and with the enormous platform that Breitbart represents – with perhaps a TV channel to amplify it – he will be in a prime position to mobilize the support that Trump needs, and to take on his enemies within the Republican camp. In short, this is the beginning of a new phase of the ongoing war to save our country. And Bannon’s role in this war will be even more important now.

***************************************

After helping to elect Donald Trump and pilot his White House through the turbulence of its first seven months, Stephen K. Bannon has left the administration and returned to Breitbart News, the conservative online news giant he captained before joining Trump a year ago.

What distinguishes Steve Bannon from other GOP operatives and conservative politicians are two things: vision and guts. The left in this country, the progressive and Democratic Party left is now organized around the anti-American creed of “identity politics.” This is the idea that “people of color” in America are oppressed by white supremacists – by people who are not “of color” and only a general purge of white racists and suppression of their free speech will rectify the injustice. This is the new racism, which serves as the principal weapon in Democrat attacks not only on the Trump White House but on all Republicans and patriots who oppose them.

“The longer they talk about identity politics, I got ’em,” Steve Bannon told the American Prospect. “I want them to talk about racism every day. If the Left is focused on race and identity, and we go with economic nationalism, we can crush the Democrats.”

You can probably count on one hand the number of Republican office-holders who think clearly and strategically like that. Or maybe one finger.

It is because Bannon understands the civil war which has now engulfed the political life of this nation that the secessionist left has focused its most vicious attacks on him, calling him a white nationalist, a white supremacist and an anti-Semite. Such attacks are transparently false, but they are in line with the left’s attacks on all their opponents as racists and fascists. These are the verbal equivalents of a nuclear option in political warfare and they reflect the existential nature of the conflict that is upon us. It is existential because the left has aimed at nothing less than the foundations of our democracy.

This was not a battle that could be fully engaged from the White House itself because so many people including the mainstream of the Republican Party are not yet awake to the nature of the conflict. They are too eager to seek approval from progressives who hate them.

Some on the right are concerned that without Bannon’s White House presence, Trump will become a prisoner of the globalist tendencies inside the administration and the appeasement instincts of the Republican in Congress. But they are wrong. Trump will still be Trump. He is not going to abandon the agendas or bury the instincts that made him endure the most hate-filled campaign in the history of American politics because he loves this country and wants to restore its greatness.

Although conservatives may thrill to the president’s frequent street fights with the Left, a president cannot be a relentless rebel. He has to put together a non-ideological majority and pick his fights shrewdly. Trump has already expressed his appreciation for the asset Bannon will be to him outside the White House. “Steve Bannon will be a tough and smart new voice at @BreitbartNews…maybe even better than ever before,” Trump tweeted Saturday. “Fake News needs the competition!” Yet, it’s more than fake news organizations that better look out when Bannon gets going.

Despite the departure of their hero, Bannon, Trump’s political base will not desert him because Bannon is gone. Trumpers appreciate the seditious nature and also the daunting magnitude of the forces ranged against his presidency. They will stick by him should he stumble or tack too precariously to the center. They are not fooled by progressive subterfuges and know where the violence and hate and lies are coming from, and the threat they are facing. Ultimately, the success of the Trump mission and the survival of his presidency will depend on this popular army he has called into being.

This is the plus side of Bannon’s departure, and his liberation from the constraints of being tied to closely to the Oval Office.

“Now I’m free,” Bannon said after he left. “I’ve got my hands back on my weapons. Someone said, ‘it’s Bannon the Barbarian.’ I am definitely going to crush the opposition. There’s no doubt. I built an f—ing machine at Breitbart. And now I’m about to go back, knowing what I know, and we’re about to rev that machine up. And rev it up we will do.”

We at Frontpage and our friends at Breitbart have been fighting this war for twenty years and more. We were excited when Trump appeared as a champion of the cause, and even more when he recruited our friends Bannon and Steve Miller and Jeff Sessions to fight by his side. That’s why we are excited by Bannon’s return to Breitbart and look forward to joining him in the trenches of the battles to come.

The New Civil War

August 19, 2017

The New Civil War, American ThinkerTom Trinko, August 19, 2017

The first “shots” in our new civil war were fired after Charlottesville when many Democratic leaders claimed that they had the right to use physical force against anyone they didn’t like.

While cowardly leftist leaders are trying to portray themselves as fighting Hitler they are really fighting anyone they don’t agree with. Remember that some Democrats said that Rep. Steve Scalise had it coming since he opposed gun control and that Democrats have been silent when left-wing violence was used to prevent Republicans marching in a parade in Portland.

Facing a continued loss of power because their radical agenda is toxic to most Americans, the Democrat leadership — which includes the MSM — have decided that they have the right to physically attack anyone who stands in their way.

Like their Nazi and Communist forefathers, today’s Democrat leaders are comfortable sending swarms of Brownshirts out to beat into submission anyone who stands between them and power.

Under Obama, Democrats renounced the rule of law by declaring that they could choose to not enforce laws they didn’t like and make up laws that Congress never passed. Now they’re saying that they have the right to attack anyone who dares speak out in disagreement.  Rep. Scalise wasn’t a Nazi or white nationalist, nor were the Republicans in Portland, or the speakers that Democrats forcibly prevented from speaking in Berkeley. Yet the Democratic leadership’s condemnation of all of those events has been muted at best.

While the first American Civil War was fought to protect that particularly Democrat institution slavery, the new civil war Democrat elites are starting to wage is about transferring power from the people to the rich white oligarchs, judges, and government bureaucrats.

As then, Republicans stand for freedom and Democrats stand for slavery.

The Democratic elite has issued a call to war by supporting and endorsing violence against people who don’t agree with them.

The left has gone from endorsing Nazis marching in a neighborhood full of Holocaust survivors to endorsing attacks on Nazis wherever they might appear. We all hate Nazis, but as Americans, Republicans believe in freedom of even odious speech, which is why we’re not tearing down the statues of that mass murderer Lenin that exist in America or the statues of Democrat Robert Byrd, who was a senior official in the KKK.

Republicans have uniformly, including President Trump, condemned Nazis and white nationalists. Yet Democrats are attacking us for not being sufficiently “woke.”

The time for pretending that Democrat leadership is patriotic is over.  It’s time to shout from the rooftops that the Democratic leadership is a fascist cabal intent on overthrowing democracy.

It’s unclear how many of those who voted for Hillary support the clear fascist policies of the Democratic party.  We know that those people tend to be low-information voters who get their “news” from the MSM. Hence, they live in a bubble of lies which make Democrat policies look semi-reasonable.

Even intelligent people fall victim to the Democrat Big Lies. A liberal physicist, for example, was shocked to learn that Osama greenlighted 9/11 because Clinton’s fleeing from Somalia taught Osama that Americans were cowards. He’d never heard that.

Similarly, today many Americans believe that Trump was defending Nazis because the MSM is lying about what he really said.

That’s why we need to be careful and not condemn all Democrats; many of them are honestly unaware of the facts just as the citizens of Nazi Germany didn’t have a clue about how WWII was actually progressing or how the citizens of North Korea thought for decades that though they were starving, they had it better than those poor capitalist South Koreans.

It’s clear that not all of those who voted for Hillary were actually voting for her agenda of taking power from the people and giving it to the elites.

Unlike the average Hillary voter who never heard most of the negative news about her, the Democratic leadership has sinister motives. For decades, they’ve been waging war against America. It started with FDR, a big fan of fascist dictator Mussolini, who began moving this country down the path to socialism with his failed big government policies. Few people remember that those policies didn’t work; it took WWII for the U.S. to recover economically from the Depression.

The next big step was disempowering Americans by giving near absolute power to the unelected Supreme Court. That court overthrew the laws of all 50 states by legalizing abortion for any reason at any time in pregnancy based on a “right to privacy” which is nowhere in the Constitution.

The Supreme Court also created numerous rights for criminals and redefined marriage over the votes of 55,000,000 Americans.

In parallel, the Democrats increased the power of unelected government bureaucrats to the point that they felt empowered to demand that Catholic nuns pay for abortions. To Democrats the 1st Amendment only applies to causes they, the Democrats, support.

Trump’s election was a visceral scream from America saying that we want our power back. That we don’t want to be ruled by pretentious, stupid, elitist fascists like Pelosi and the Clintons, or by RINOs whose first loyalty is to the state, not the people.

The Democratic leadership is now following Mao, who said that political power grows from the barrel of a gun, while Americans are being forced to defend the core American belief that power flows from the people.

Just as the original Democrats repudiated Lincoln for opposing slavery, modern Democratic leaders are repudiating his belief that the government is of the people, for the people, by the people.

The elite bicoastal ruling class is nearly all white and racist to the core, but they use lies about Republicans, spread by the fawning liberal media, to justify violence.

Today Democrats have crossed the Rubicon.  By saying that it’s okay for Antifa to shut down speakers they don’t like and physically assault anyone they don’t happen to agree with Democrats have renounced the rule of law and summoned the whirlwind of civil war.

Why have Democrats once again started a civil war to achieve their ends?

They thought they had everything sewed up. When Hillary won she’d pack the Supreme Court with fascists who believed that they could make up whatever laws they liked. Hillary would, like Obama, ignore the Constitution and further strengthen the administrative state while waging a war against non-Democratic whites and Asians and ensuring that Blacks stayed uneducated so they couldn’t see how Democrats were exploiting them.

But contrary to their expectations, the American people said no. We don’t want to be ruled, we want to be represented — which is why the Republican failure to get rid of ObamaCare is so offensive.

Even with the lying media spreading Democratic talking points 24/7 the majority of Americans want to be free, not enslaved — not told how much soda they can drink or what type of entertainment they can like — Democrats support violent misogynistic rap music while condemning Americans for liking NASCAR. The Democratic message calling on Americans to accept slavery because, according to Democrats, Americans can’t manage their own lives — the same line Democrats used to justify slavery– can’t win elections because American’s aren’t that stupid. As a result, the Democrat leadership has decided that their only way to power is violence.

If they can’t win in the battlefield of ideas, they’ve decided that they need to silence, by the use of force, any voices they don’t like.

The Democrat leaders have turned to the communists they so admire — remember Obama wishing he could rule like the dictator of China does? — and decided that what they can’t win by the ballot they can win with the baseball bat.

Unless we all take a stand now, this spiral of violence initiated by Democrats will lead to a truly horrible future, just as the Democrat’s violent defense of slavery was the cause of the greatest tragedy in American history. If Democrats had voluntarily abandoned slavery, we could have avoided America’s most costly war. Instead we had to fight to end the scourge of slavery.

Contact the Republican leadership and make it clear that instead of condemning Trump for his stand against all violence, they need to attack the Democrat’s support of violence.

There is still time to avoid a massive escalation of violence but if we fail to take a stand against the Democrat’s use of force we will see our streets running with blood.  We know Democrats don’t care about that, because they don’t care about the thousands of Blacks shot in Chicago each year, but we do because we care about all Americans.

Take action and pray that we are not forced to relive the Civil War in order to prevent Democrats from destroying our democracy.

Flynn: Untie the Right from ‘Unite the Right’ Charlottesville Nutters

They resemble a white people’s Black Panther Party or La Raza in that they wish to divide the United States based on race.

********************************

Those rallying under the mantra “National Socialism Now” in Charlottesville chose the perfect slogan if not for that “w” at the end.

The protestors descending upon Charlottesville this weekend wrongly label themselves “right.” In no sense of the word do socialists, no matter the prefix, fall under any category of “right.”

They do not oppose the Left. They imitate them.

Multiculturalism does not become a right-wing movement when embraced by white people. While certainly nuances color the views of those standing up against the monuments coming down, a blunt, unsubtle common denominator—separatism (from other races and the mainstream)—brings them together.

They resemble a white people’s Black Panther Party or La Raza in that they wish to divide the United States based on race. They bash the police attempting to retain the order they help to unravel. They practice identity politics. They settle questions with violence. They do not respect freedom of speech but whine loudly when the muzzles come for them. When they look at their enemies yelling at them in the street, they look in the mirror but are too ignorant to recognize their reflection.

Sure, a Taliban vibe pervades the groups taking the wrecking ball to statues. But why do people born in Boston (Richard Spencer) or who live in Ohio (James Alex Fields) care so much about the Confederate monuments in Charlottesville, Virginia, that they travel there to hold signs, chant, and wear pots on their heads? As sixties activists reminded us, “The issue is not the issue.”

One of the organizing groups calls itself the Traditionalist Worker Party, an oxymoron in that, heretofore, all workers’ parties sought to radically buck tradition (see, Workers’ Party of Korea; see also, National Socialist German Workers’ Party). The Traditionalist Worker Party calls for “jobs with justice,” instructs followers to “support renewable energy,” and equates the free market system with its polar opposite in a “Capitalism and Communism Work Together Against You” slogan.

The heirs of George Lincoln Rockwell should sue for plagiarism.

The “Unite the Right” umbrella moniker for the event also suffers from a dyslexia of sorts. “Untie the Right” works better. People on the political Right should untie themselves from creeps seeking to tether their hateful outlook to the philosophy of Edmund Burke, Russell Kirk, William F. Buckley, Ronald Reagan, and other respectable advocates of limited government who eschewed bigotry and small-mindedness. The faux-conservatives seek to tether their despicable ideology with a respectable outlook. The counterprotesters eagerly aid them in this effort. On this and so many questions, the people screaming at each other see eye to eye.

Too stupid to formulate a coherent set of ideas, the demonstrators coalesce around the most primitive unifying characteristic by confusing skin color for a political program. White people, of course, disagree on every subject imaginable. What do Michael Moore and Ann Coulter, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, Susan Sarandon and Mel Gibson share beyond a profession and a propensity to get burned at the beach?

Surely any legitimate group on the Right would welcome Thomas Sowell, George Schuyler, Clarence Thomas, Zora Neale Hurston, and countless other African American men and women past and present sharing its outlook. But white nationalists would more readily accept Elizabeth Warren into their ranks. She’s white (don’t take her word for it, she is). Does that make her Right?

Charlottesville’s bloody Saturday resembled Altona Bloody Sunday, a deadly series of skirmishes between National Socialists and Soviet Socialists. Idiots debating with their fists instead of their brains miss the obvious. In Germany, competitors fought over a share of the knucklehead constituency. In Charlottesville, people united on ideology but divided by race brawled because they believed something special separated them.

Some too-common traits unite them: stupidity, turpitude, hatred, fanaticism, imprudence, and so on.
