America is setting itself up for a ‘homegrown’ terror problem to rival that of Europe

by Edmund Kozak | Updated 16 Aug 2016 at 9:55 PM

Donald Trump’s talk of “extreme vetting” of Muslim immigrants may give comfort to those worried about the dangers of Islamic terrorism and Hillary’s Clinton promise to increase the number of these migrants brought to U.S. soil.

But the Obama administration is already presiding over a massive rush of Muslim refugees from war-torn nations into the United States, including tens of thousands of these questionably vetted migrants in 2016 alone.

The U.S. has allowed in 28,957 Muslim refugees so far this year alone, according to a Pew analysis of State Department data released Tuesday. That’s almost half of the roughly 63,000 refugees who have entered the country since the fiscal year began on Oct. 1, 2015. According to Pew, this is the highest number of Muslim refugees the U.S. has admitted since 2002.

Every recent Islamic terrorist attack on American soil was carried out by a Muslim immigrant or the child of Muslim immigrants.

Astonishingly, more than half of those Muslim refugees came from the terrorist hot spots of Syria and Somalia. The State Department also permitted the entry of more than 6,000 Iraqis and almost 2,000 Afghanis.

In May 2016, NBC news examined leaked ISIS files and “identified at least 15 American citizens” who had traveled to the Middle East to fight for the Islamic State. Of course, while the politically correct cretins at NBC insisted that these traitorous terrorists “fit no particular pattern,” 10 of the 12 whose identities NBC was able to verify were immigrants or the children of immigrants.

Rasel Raihan and his sister Zakia Nasrin emigrated to America from Bangladesh when they were five and seven respectively. Jaffrey Khan, Nasrin’s husband who joined ISIS with his wife and step-brother, was the son of Pakistani immigrants.

Talmeezur Rahman, another American ISIS fighter identified by NBC, was born in India and raised in Kuwait, as was Omar Kattan, born to Syrian parents. There was also Ridwan al-Haymar, from Morocco originally, and Erius Alliu, from Albania.

NBC also identified three Somali-Americans from Minnesota who left the country to join ISIS — Hanad Abdullahi Mohallim, Abdi Nur, and Yusuf Jama. In fact, the Somali community seems to be a particular hotbed of radicalism.

Dozens of Somali-Americans from Minnesota have joined or sought to join ISIS, according to federal authorities. Hanad Mustafe Musse, Guled Ali Omar, Abdirizak Warsame, Abdullahi Yusuf, Mohamed Farah, Hamza Ahmed, Yusra Ismail, Abdirahman Daud, and Adnan Farah are just some of them.

Unfortunately the same type of radical cancer infecting the Somali community in America has spread beyond that community — Douglas McAuthur McCain, a black American, and Troy Kastigar, of Anishinabe Native American background, were two best friends from Minnesota inspired by radical Somalis in their midst to convert to Islam and eventually join ISIS. They both died fighting in Syria.

But radical immigrants or the children of immigrants — or Americans radicalized by immigrants or the children of immigrants — leaving the country to die in Syria or Iraq is not the worst case scenario. The worst case scenario is that they don’t leave and decide to kill innocent Americans instead.

Every recent Islamic terrorist attack on American soil was carried out by a Muslim immigrant or the child of Muslim immigrants. Sayed Rizwan Farook, one of the perpetrators of the San Bernardino attack, was the son of Pakistani immigrants. His accomplice, Tashfeen Malik, was a Pakistani immigrant herself.

The perpetrator of the Chattanooga shootings, Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, was a Kuwaiti-born immigrant of Palestinian-Jordanian extraction. Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter, was born in Virginia to Palestinian parents. Omar Mateen, the Orlando shooter, was born to Afghan immigrant parents.

Of course, America’s problem of imported radicalism pales in comparison — for now — to the threat in Europe, which has allowed far higher numbers of migrants from radicalized regions of the Muslim world.

On Tuesday, radical British cleric Anjem Choudary, born to Pakistani immigrants in the U.K., was found guilty on terrorism charges for inviting support for ISIS in a series of lectures released on YouTube. It is estimated at least 500 British jihadis who fled the U.K. to join ISIS are linked to Choudary’s efforts.

President Obama’s legacy, and Hillary promises to continue the horror.

While forcing foreigners to watch several foreign women being raped — American women were singled out–, they shot dead a local journalist, then beat and robbed people and carried out mock executions…

“…the U.N. peacekeeping force was stationed less than a mile away, they refused to respond to desperate calls for help.
Neither did any embassies –including the U.S. Embassy.”

South Sudanese troops rampage through complex, raping and killing foreigners

US Embassy Refused to Respond to Americans Being Raped,” By Daniel Greenfield, August 15, 2016:

The uselessness of UN peacekeepers is one of the worst kept secrets in international affairs. Like the rest of the UN, the one thing you can usually count on Peacekeepers to do is to keep the peace by letting whatever horrors are happening go on happening. Politicians love talking about dispatching UN peacekeepers. Here’s how much good they actually do.

The soldier pointed his AK-47 at the female aid worker and gave her a choice.

“Either you have sex with me, or we make every man here rape you and then we shoot you in the head,” she remembers him saying.

She didn’t really have a choice. By the end of the evening, she had been raped by 15 South Sudanese soldiers.

This was part of a series of assaults.

They shot dead a local journalist while forcing the foreigners to watch, raped several foreign women, singled out Americans, beat and robbed people and carried out mock executions, several witnesses told The Associated Press.

Luckily there were UN peacekeepers nearby.

For hours throughout the assault, the U.N. peacekeeping force stationed less than a mile away refused to respond to desperate calls for help.

And under Obama, the US Embassy proved equally useless.

Neither did embassies, including the U.S. Embassy.

Smart power. It really, really does not work. And this is what non-intervention looks like now.

The accounts highlight, in raw detail, the failure of the U.N. peacekeeping force to uphold its core mandate of protecting civilians, notably those just a few minutes’ drive away. U.N. peacekeepers in Juba have already been accused of not acting to stop the rapes of local women by soldiers outside the U.N.’s main camp and within their sight last month.

Of course they didn’t. They’re peacekeepers and Obama already has the answer. Send more peacekeepers.

Army spokesman Lul Ruai did not deny the attack at the Terrain but said it was premature to conclude the army was responsible. “Everyone is armed, and everyone has access to uniforms and we have people from other organized forces, but it was definitely done by people of South Sudan and by armed people of Juba,” he said.

A report on the incident compiled by the Terrain’s owner at Ruai’s request, seen by the AP, alleges that at least five women were raped, torture, mock executions, beatings and looting. An unknown number of South Sudanese women were also assaulted.

The attack came just as people in Juba were thinking the worst was over.

Three days earlier, gunfire had erupted outside the presidential compound between armed supporters of the two sides in South Sudan’s civil war, at the time pushed together under an uneasy peace deal. The violence quickly spread across the city.

Throughout the weekend, bullets whizzed through the Terrain compound, a sprawling complex with a pool, squash court and a bar patronized by expats and South Sudanese elites. It is also in the shadow of the U.N.’s largest camp in Juba.

By Monday, the government had nearly defeated the forces under Machar, who fled the city. As both sides prepared to call for a cease-fire, some residents of the Terrain started to relax.

“Monday was relatively chill,” one survivor said.

What was thought to be celebratory gunfire was heard. And then the soldiers arrived. A Terrain staffer from Uganda said he saw between 80 and 100 men pour into the compound after breaking open the gate with gunshots and tire irons. The Terrain’s security guards were armed only with shotguns and were vastly outnumbered. The soldiers then went to door to door, taking money, phones, laptops and car keys.

“They were very excited, very drunk, under the influence of something, almost a mad state, walking around shooting off rounds inside the rooms,” one American said.

One man wore a blue police uniform, but the rest wore camouflage, the American said. Many had shoulder patches with the face of a tiger, the insignia worn by the president’s personal guard.

For about an hour, soldiers beat the American with belts and the butts of their guns and accused him of hiding rebels. They fired bullets at his feet and close to his head. Eventually, one soldier who appeared to be in charge told him to leave the compound. Soldiers at the gate looked at his U.S. passport and handed it back, with instructions.

“You tell your embassy how we treated you,” they said. He made his way to the nearby U.N. compound and appealed for help.

Meanwhile, soldiers were breaking into a two-story apartment block in the Terrain which had been deemed a safe house because of a heavy metal door guarding the apartments upstairs. Warned by a Kenyan staffer, more than 20 people inside, most of them foreigners, tried to hide. About 10 squeezed into a single bathroom.

The building shook as soldiers shot at the metal door and pried metal bars off windows for more than an hour, said residents. Once inside, the soldiers started ransacking the rooms and assaulting people they found.

Some of the soldiers were violent as they sexually assaulted women, said the woman who said she was raped by 15 men. Others, who looked to be just 15 or 16 years old, looked scared and were coerced into the act.

“One in particular, he was calling you, ‘Sweetie, we should run away and get married.’ It was like he was on a first date,” the woman said. “He didn’t see that what he was doing was a bad thing.”

After about an hour and a half, the soldiers broke into the bathroom. They shot through the door, said Jesse Bunch, an American contractor who was hit in the leg.

“We kill you! We kill you!” the soldiers shouted, according to a Western woman in the bathroom. “They would shoot up at the ceiling and say, ‘Do you want to die?’ and we had to answer ‘No!’”

The soldiers then pulled people out one by one. One woman said she was sexually assaulted by multiple men. Another Western woman said soldiers beat her with fists and threatened her with their guns when she tried to resist. She said five men raped her.

During the attack on the Terrain, several survivors told the AP that soldiers specifically asked if they were American. “One of them, as soon as he said he was American, he was hit with a rifle butt,” said a woman.

When the soldiers came across John Gatluak, they knew he was local. The South Sudanese journalist worked for Internews, a media development organization funded by USAID. He had taken refuge at the Terrain after being briefly detained a few days earlier. The tribal scars on his forehead made it obvious he was Nuer, the same as opposition leader, Riek Machar.

Upon seeing him, the soldiers pushed him to the floor and beat him, according to the same woman who saw the American beaten.

Later in the attack, and after Kiir’s side declared a ceasefire at 6 p.m., the soldiers forced the foreigners to stand in a semi-circle, said Gian Libot, a Philippines citizen who spent much of the attack under a bed until he was discovered.

One soldier ranted against foreigners. “He definitely had pronounced hatred against America,” Libot said, recalling the soldier’s words: “You messed up this country. You’re helping the rebels. The people in the U.N., they’re helping the rebels.”

During the tirade, a soldier hit a man suspected of being American with a rifle butt. At one point, the soldier threatened to kill all the foreigners assembled. “We’re gonna show the world an example,” Libot remembered him saying.

Then Gatluak was hauled in front of the group. One soldier shouted “Nuer,” and another soldier shot him twice in the head. He shot the dying Gatluak four more times while he lay on the ground.

“All it took was a declaration that he was different, and they shot him mercilessly,” Libot said.

The shooting seemed to be a turning point for those assembled outside, Libot said. Looting and threats continued, but beatings started to draw to a close. Other soldiers continued to assault men and women inside the apartment block.

From the start of the attack, those inside the Terrain compound sent messages pleading for help by text and Facebook messages and emails.

“All of us were contacting whoever we could contact. The U.N., the U.S. embassy, contacting the specific battalions in the U.N., contacting specific departments,” said the woman raped by 15 men.

A member of the U.N.’s Joint Operations Center in Juba first received word of the attack at 3:37 p.m., minutes after the breach of the compound, according to an internal timeline compiled by a member of the operations center and seen by AP.

Eight minutes later another message was sent to a different member of the operations center from a person inside Terrain saying that people were hiding there. At 4:22 p.m., that member received another message urging help.

Five minutes after that, the U.N. mission’s Department of Safety and Security and its military command wing were alerted. At 4:33 p.m., a Quick Reaction Force, meant to intervene in emergencies, was informed. One minute later, the timeline notes the last contact on Monday from someone trapped inside Terrain.

For the next hour and a half the timeline is blank. At 6:52, shortly before sunset, the timeline states that “DSS would not send a team.”

About 20 minutes later, a Quick Reaction Force of Ethiopians from the multinational U.N. mission was tasked to intervene, coordinating with South Sudan’s army chief of staff, Paul Malong, who was also sending soldiers. But the Ethiopian battalion stood down, according to the timeline. Malong’s troops eventually abandoned their intervention too because it took too long for the Quick Reaction Force to act.

The American who was released early in the assault and made it to the U.N. base said he also alerted U.N. staff. At around dusk, a U.N. worker he knew requested three different battalions to send a Quick Reaction Force.

“Everyone refused to go. Ethiopia, China, and Nepal. All refused to go,” he said.

Eventually, South Sudanese security forces entered the Terrain and rescued all but three Western women and around 16 Terrain staff.

No one else was sent that night to find them. The U.N. timeline said a patrol would go in the morning, but this “was cancelled due to priority.” A private security firm rescued the three Western women the staffers the next morning.

When asked why the U.N. peacekeeping mission didn’t respond to the repeated requests for help, acting spokeswoman Yasmina Bouziane said the circumstances are under investigation.

“The peacekeepers did not venture out of the bases to protect civilians under imminent threat,” Human Rights Watch said Monday in a report on abuses throughout Juba.

The U.S. Embassy, which also received requests for help during the attack, did not respond to repeated requests for comment.

The assault at the Terrain pierced a feeling of security among some foreigners who had assumed that they would be protected by their governments or the hundreds of U.N. peacekeepers almost next door.

One of the women gang-raped said security advisers from an aid organization living in the compound told residents repeatedly that they were safe because foreigners would not be targeted. She said: “This sentence, ‘We are not targeted,’ I heard half an hour before they assaulted us.”

The office of London’s first Muslim mayor has secured millions of pounds to fund a police “online hate crime hub” to work in “partnership with social media providers” to criminalise “trolls” who “target… individuals and communities.”

The London mayor’s office for policing and crime (Mopac) will spend £1,730,726 of taxpayer’s money policing speech online after applying for a huge grant from the Home Office Police Innovation Fund (PIF), it was announced in a statement.

“The purpose of this programme is to strengthen the police and community response to this growing crime type” is was announced, and will “involv[e] a dedicated police team” backed by “volunteers”.

Mopac, to whom the Met answers to, has advertised a vacancy for a civilian programme manager, with a salary of £52,455, to support the five other police employees.

The measures will be “delivered in partnership with social media providers” who along with “specialist officers” will be “filtering and identification of online hate crimes” and “identifying the location of the crime and allocating to the appropriate force…”

In May this year, the EU announced that Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Microsoft had “committed” to working more closely with them and national governments and “their law enforcement agencies” to help “criminalise” perceived “illegal hate speech” online.

London’s Metropolitan police force said they welcomed the extra workload and wished to encourage offended people to report perceived hate crimes in ever increasing numbers.

“The Metropolitan police service is committed to working with our partners, including the mayor, to tackle all types of hate crime including offences committed online,” a spokesman for the Met said.

“By establishing this unit, we are sending a strong message to those who use online forums to spread hate that their actions will not be tolerated. The Metropolitan police service continues to have a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of hate crime.

“The Met encourages all victims of hate crime to report any incident to the police and will make every effort to hold offenders to account and bring them to justice.”

Convictions for crimes under Section 127 of the Communications Act of 2003, a law increasingly used to prosecute “internet trolls”, have increased ten-fold in a decade, official figures revealed in May last year. They showed 1,209 people were found guilty of offences under the law, compared with 143 in 2004, according to the Ministry of Justice.

The law criminalises “using [a] public electronic communications network in order to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety,” and can result in a six-month prison term or fine of up to £5,000.

“Pure rants, very childish [people online] are increasingly criminalised, and as a result of that the police is becoming more and more involved in controlling our morality”, explained Frank Furedi, emeritus professor of sociology at the University of Kent, on BBC Radio 4 this morning.

“[The police are] almost playing the role of a moral police. And instead of dealing with real crime in the offline world, [the police] find its very convenient to ‘send the message’ in the online world because it’s a relatively easy thing to do”, he said.

Adding: “And what I’m really worried about, is that the whole freedom of speech becomes compromised whenever people have to think twice about what they say”.

Section 127 was the law used to prosecute James McConnell, the Northern Irish Pastor charged with making “grossly offensive” remarks about Islam during a sermon broadcast online in 2014.

He was subjected to an 18-month police investigation and criminal prosecution, eventually being found not guilty at the beginning of this year.

In 2011, a Scottish football fan was sentenced to eight months in prison for insulting Celtic fans, Catholics and the Pope on a Facebook page under section 127.

During sentencing, the sheriff told the defendant that “the right-thinking people of Glasgow and Scotland” would not tolerate his views being expressed online.

Secret Service Whistleblower: Hillary Has Major Neurological Problems

Secret Service Whistle blower: Hillary Has Major Neurological Problems Source says big announcement from Clinton campaign about her health coming soon

Paul Joseph Watson – August 15, 2016

Source: Secret Service Whistleblower: Hillary Has Major Neurological Problems » Alex Jones’ Infowars: There’s a war on for your mind!

A Secret Service source has told Infowars that Hillary Clinton has major neurological health problems and that a big announcement regarding her medical situation is coming soon.

The Secret Service source reached out to Infowars reporter Joe Biggs during the recent Republican National Convention in Cleveland and confirmed the following information;

– Hillary has a very serious neurological degeneration which could be Parkinson’s disease;

– Around half a million dollars has been spent to specially adapt three SUVs in which Hillary travels to provide lowered floors and disabled access to prevent Hillary from tripping.

– Hillary’s staff is so intent on keeping reporters away from Clinton because she is at risk of petit mal seizures that can be triggered by camera flashes;

– Hillary has major problems with balance, difficulties with walking and keeps falling down;

– Hillary’s campaign will be forced into making a big announcement soon regarding her medical condition;

– The source told us that this information was relayed to the press by others, but they were too afraid to run it, so Infowars was reached out to directly by the Secret Service in Cleveland three weeks ago because they trusted us to run this news unfiltered.

The revelations correlate with other information provided by federal agents and police officers who have worked security at Hillary events.

John Cardillo, a former officer who provided VIP security details for the New York Police Department (NYPD), said he was told by a federal agent and another NYPD officer who worked security at Hillary events that Hillary had major heath problems and was often dizzy and disoriented.

Questions about Hillary’s health are intensifying following the release of our viral video which asked why Clinton has been behaving strangely in recent weeks and months.

Despite leftist media outlets attempting to portray the entire issue as a baseless “conspiracy theory,” a Rasmussen poll released last week found that 59% of Americans would like to see the Clinton campaign release Hillary’s medical records.

Watch the clip below in which Alex Jones discusses the revelations made by the Secret Service whistleblower.

A series of message within the September 2015 State Department dump of Hillary Clinton e-mails show the Secretary of State of the United States received direct orders over U.S. foreign policy from none other than Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros.

Soros – who for years has been suspected of pulling the strings behind Clinton as well as dozens of foreign policy and open borders groups – appears to have sent a message through his “special advisor” Jonas Rolett.

Rolett, who is listed as “Special Advisor to the Chair” on Soros’s Open Society Foundations website, sent a message to then-State Department official Richard Verma.

Mr. Verma duly passed the message along to an e-mail chain including Hillary’s top foreign affairs advisor Jacob Sullivan, her Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon, as well as a recipient “William J” – believed to be William Joseph Burns who was then Deputy Secretary of State.

The e-mails, dated January 24 2011, begin with Verma forwarding a message from Rolett with the note: “Below message is from George Soros for the Secretary. Understand his organization was sending through other channels as well”.

Rolett’s message continues beneath, stating: “Rich, Here’s the text of the message. I’m available to talk at any time. Thanks, Jonas”.

Then follows what can only be construed as instructions for the Secretary of State from Democratic Party donor Soros, who has so far given her over $7 million this election cycle:

Dear Hillary,

A serious situation has arisen in Albania which needs urgent attention at senior levels of the US government. You may know that an opposition demonstration in Tirana on Friday resulted in the deaths of three people and the destruction of property. There are serious concerns about further unrest connected to a counter-demonstration to be organized by the governing party on Wednesday and a follow-up event by the opposition two days later to memorialize the victims. The prospect of tens of thousands of people entering the streets in an already inflamed political environment bodes ill for the return of public order and the country’s fragile democratic process.

I believe two things need to be done urgently:

1. Bring the full weight of the international community to bear on Prime Minister Berisha and opposition leader Edi Rama to forestall further public demonstrations and to tone down public pronouncements.

2. Appoint a senior European official as a mediator.

While I am concerned about the rhetoric being used by both sides, I am particularly worried about the actions of the Prime Minister. There is videotape of National Guard members firing on demonstrators from the roof of the Prime Ministry. The Prosecutor (appointed by the Democratic Party) has issued arrest warrants for the individuals in question. The Prime Minister had previously accused the opposition of intentionally murdering these activists as a provocation. After the tape came out deputies from his party accused the Prosecutor of planning a coup d’etat in collaboration with the opposition, a charge Mr. Berisha repeated today. No arrests have been made as of this writing.

The demonstration resulted from opposition protests over the conduct of parliamentary elections in 2009. The political environment has deteriorated ever since and is now approaching levels of 1997, when similar issues caused the country to slide into anarchy and violence. There are signs that Edi Rama’s control of his own people is slipping, which may lead to further violence.

The US and the EU must work in complete harmony over this, but given Albania’s European aspirations the EU must take the lead. That is why I suggest appointing a mediator such as Carl Bildt, Martti Ahtisaari or Miroslav Lajcak, all of whom have strong connections to the Balkans.

My foundation in Tirana is monitoring the situation closely and can provide independent analysis of the crisis.

Thank you,

George Soros

Indeed just days after the message was sent, Mr. Lajcak, named by Mr. Soros in the e-mail, was sent to the Albanian capital in order to attempt to negotiate the situation. At the time Mr Lajcak said it was up to Albania’s leaders “to do what we ask them to do”.

Mr. Soros is known for using and indeed manipulating major world events for both his ideological and financial interests. He became known in the United Kingdom as the man who “broke the Bank of England” during one of the worst financial episodes in the country’s recent history. On ‘Black Wednesday’, when Britain withdrew from the European Exchange Rate Mechanism, Mr. Soros made over $1bn in one day.

His organisations have also recently been responsible for agitating against the new, populist Polish government, as well as in his home country of Hungary, where President Viktor Orban has repeatedly blamed him for the migrant crisis, claiming his staff are “drawing a living” from the problem.

In May, Breitbart London exclusively revealed the words of Tomasz Piotr Poreba – a former Adviser to the Committees on Foreign Affairs and Regional Development in the European Parliament – who said: “Not so long ago relations between the Clintons and billionaire Soros were revealed… Soros supports Clintons and Clinton followed his order. That is no secret.”

At the same time Mr. Orban declared: “…here, in Central Europe a shadow power exists, which is linked to George Soros, he is one of the most important sponsors of the Democratic Party, so I have to say that although the mouth belongs to Clinton, the voice belongs to George Soros”.

Mr. Soros recently called for the overturning of the Brexit vote to leave the European Union, and the Wall Street Journal revealed the multi-billionaire, while backing Mrs. Clinton to the tune of millions, is betting against U.S. stocks.

Hacked Soros e-mails reveal plans to fight Israel’s ‘racist’ policies

Source: Hacked Soros e-mails reveal plans to fight Israel’s ‘racist’ policies – Israel News – Jerusalem Post

The documents are available on a website, reportedly backed by Russia, that uses anti-Semitic stereotypes to attack Soros.

WASHINGTON— Hacked emails show that the Open Society Foundations, led by George Soros, has as an objective “challenging Israel’s racist and anti-democratic policies” in international forums, in part by questioning Israel’s reputation as a democracy.

The documents are available on a website, reportedly backed by Russia, that uses anti-Semitic stereotypes to attack Soros.
They reveal that Open Society, which was founded and is chaired by the hedge fund billionaire and philanthropist, gave close to $10 million since 2001 to groups advancing the rights of Arab Israelis, with an emphasis in recent years on countering what one document says are Israel’s “restrictive measures” against minorities.

“In recent years the radicalization of public opinion and consecutive Israeli right wing governments have resulted in more restrictive measures against Palestinians within Israel,” a Sept. 1, 2015 review of Open Society’s Arab Regional Office’s work said.

It cites as an example the Jewish Nation State bill, advanced by its sponsors to entrench Israel’s Jewish status, but decried by some Arab Israelis as further marginalizing non-Jewish minorities. The bill has yet to pass.

Among achievements listed in the Sept. 1 document, the Arab Regional Office includes increased advocacy by “Palestinian citizens of Israel,” or PCI, in international forums, challenging Israel’s “racist” policies in the face of its reputation as a democracy.

The document advocates the “development of a more organized and efficient PCI advocacy and presence in international forums (UN, EU, US) especially in light of the increasingly limited domestic avenues available for seeking justice.”

“In shifting to international advocacy, PCI’s [sic] are up against Israel and its image as a democratic state before the international community, therefore Palestinian civil society organizations in Israel feel the pressure of filling this gap by strengthening their relations with international actors and systems such as the European Union and United Nations to put their issue on the international agenda,” it says.

“There have been a number of successes in challenging Israel’s racist and anti-democratic policies in the international arena and influencing EU-Israel bilateral negotiations,” the document says.

The emails were posted in recent weeks by DC Leaks, a group Bloomberg News, in an Aug. 11 report, quoted security experts as saying is likely backed by Russia’s intelligence agencies.

Open Society told Bloomberg News that it reported the hacks to the FBI. JTA has submitted a number of queries regarding the hacks to Open Society, which has yet to reply.

Former communists in the Eastern Bloc have for years reviled Soros for promoting democracy and free markets in their countries. At the same time some Jewish groups have labeled Soros, a child survivor of the Holocaust, as anti-Israel.

The Soros page on DC Leaks’ website, in broken English, notes Soros’ Hungarian Jewish roots. Depicting a sinister-looking Soros presiding over an array of news photos of rioting and violence, it invokes anti-Semitic tropes commonplace in Russia and eastern Europe, describing him as a “vampire” managing “puppets” and “slaves” who “spill blood of millions and millions people just to make him even more rich.”

Soros is a major backer of the presidential bid of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Clinton’s campaign has accused Russian intelligence of being behind a deluge of recent embarrassing email dumps, and has alleged that Russian President Vladimir Putin is backing her rival, Republican nominee Donald Trump.

An Aug. 6, 2015 document details Open Society’s Arab Regional Office funding of civil society groups in Israel since 2001, amounting to $9,591,801. The group obtaining the most money is Adalah, a legal rights group for Arab Israelis, which received a total of $2,688,561 over the period.

Another grantee is the New Israel Fund, a clearinghouse for Israeli civil rights groups, which received $837,500 from 2002-2015.

Notably, the Sept. 1, 2015 Arab Regional Office review depicts as a positive a controversial initiative, the 2007 Democratic Constitution, calling it one of several “important cooperation efforts among leading OCI civil society groups.”

That document, which the review describes as “the most direct and substantive challenge posed by Palestinian citizens to their status in the Jewish Israeli state” was decried by pro-Israel groups at the time as promoting an outcome that would all but remove Israel’s Jewish character.

Adalah was one of the drafting bodies, and the subsequent controversy led the New Israel Fund in 2010 to revise its funding criteria to reject any group that “works to deny the right of the Jewish people to sovereign self-determination within Israel.” The NIF policy was not retroactive, and it still funds Adalah.

The release of the Open Society documents was overshadowed by last month’s similar dump, by WikiLeaks, of Democratic National Committee emails, also believed to have been hacked by Russians. Those emails, revealing antagonism within the DNC toward Bernie Sanders’ ultimately unsuccessful bid for the party’s nomination, led to the resignation of top DNC officials.

NGO Monitor, an Israeli watchdog, uncovered among the DC Leaks trove a separate document prepared by Open Society’s European Policy Institute, suggesting questions for September 2014 hearings to confirm senior European Union foreign policy officials.

Among the questions are one that promotes labeling products from West Bank settlements and another that favors the ascension of the Palestinian Authority to the International Criminal Court. Israel adamantly opposes both policies.

There is fundamentally something wrong here, an army who can not even protect their own vehicles !

The IDF has been suffering from a rash of vehicle thefts in recent months, despite army precautions intended to reduce such incidents.

According to an army document obtained by Arutz Sheva, since the beginning of 2016 the IDF has recorded 31 vehicle thefts, a 35% increase over the same period in 2015.

Most of the thefts have occurred on or around bases located near Arab population centers.

The most commonly stolen vehicles, the report shows, are small trucks.

The largest number of thefts took place in the Petah Tikva area in the center of the country, followed by the area around Kfar Yona east of Netanya, Netanya, Kiryat Ono east of Tel Aviv, and Be’er Sheva in the south.

Yoram Azoulay, head of the IDF’s Logistics Division, wrote that aside from the financial cost of such thefts, they also represented a larger threat, saying that criminal or even terrorist elements could use them to enter IDF bases and steal large quantities of weapons and other equipment – or even conduct terror attacks.

The thefts came despite a series of regulations adopted in 2008 to reduce such incidents. At the time, the rules, which set limits on where army vehicles could be parked, led to a sharp reduction in thefts.

A US think tank has called for the withdrawal of nuclear arms from Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base, saying the country is in disorder and is too close to the Syria conflict zone.

The report prepared by the Stimson Center nonprofit think tank, titled ‘B61 Life Extension Program: Costs and Policy Considerations’, questions the safety of American nuclear weapons stored at Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base.

The failed military coup in Turkey on July 15 resulted in the base’s commander being arrested over alleged participation in the agitation.

Turkish authorities blocked the Incirlik base off completely, cutting the facility’s electric power and prohibiting any aircraft from flying in or out of the airfield.

“From a security point of view, it’s a roll of the dice to continue to have approximately 50 of America’s nuclear weapons stationed at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, just 70 miles from the Syrian border,” said report co-author Laicie Heeley. “These weapons have zero utility on the European battlefield and today are more of a liability than asset to our NATO allies,” said Heeley, a fellow with the Budgeting for Foreign Affairs and Defense program at the Stimson Center.

The US brought tactical nuclear bombs to Europe and Turkey in 1950s and 1960s, allegedly to deal with Soviet tank armies that it was feared would pour onto the European battlefield in the event of World War III.

Most of the American nuclear arsenals were retracted from Europe in the early 1990s after the fall of the USSR, yet an estimated 180 obsolete nuclear B61 drop bombs are still stored at six European air bases in NATO member states Belgium, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Turkey.

The development of modern missile air defenses have nullified the A-bomb’s potential, as no bomber would be allowed to approach, let alone fly over, enemy territory.

Still, the US National Nuclear Security Administration plans to spend $US8 billion to extend service of an estimated 480 out of a total 800 B61 bombs the US still has in stock, the report says. These expenditures are planned within the framework of a 30-year, $1-trillion program, as Washington intends to modernize the American nuclear triad.

“These bombs are ill-suited for modern warfare and incredibly costly,” said Stimson Center co-founder and report co-author Barry Blechman.

The report suggests the “immediate removal” of all B61 nuclear weapons from Europe and discontinuation of the procurement of B61s. In this way the Pentagon would save over $6 billion which could be used to bolster the US military presence in Europe.

“The smart move would be to remove these weapons from Europe and double down to strengthen conventional forces that actually protect our NATO allies,” Blechman proposed.

In an article published on August 11, the former Director for Defense Policy and Arms Control on the White House National Security Council, Steve Andreasen, wrote that the B61 tactical nuclear weapons stored at Incirlik have become a hot potato rather than geopolitical argument.

“What if the Turkish base commander at Incirlik had ordered his troops surrounding the perimeter of the base to turn their guns on the US soldiers that reportedly guard US nuclear storage bunkers there?” said the former top White House arms control official.

The ex-White House weapons chief suggested other hair-raising scenarios involving the Incirlik nuclear arsenal.

For example, nationalistic Turks suspicious of the US role in the recent coup might display anti-American sentiment, similar to the Iranians in 1979, and seize the Incirlik base.

The proximity of the base to the Syrian border – where a war between international jihadist groups and the government of President Bashar Assad is raging for the sixth year – is another factor. The Pentagon already ordered all military families out of Incirlik and southern Turkey back in March over terrorism-related security concerns, recalls Andreasen.

“There are no do-overs in history, but there are lessons,” Andreasen concluded.

Schweizer: ‘Now We Have, Influencing Our Politics and Getting Favors and Access, Foreign Oligarchs’

Schweizer: ‘Now We Have, Influencing Our Politics and Getting Favors and Access, Foreign Oligarchs’, BreitbartIan Hanchett, August 13, 2016

On Saturday’s “Smerconish” on CNN, Breitbart editor at large and author of “Clinton Cash” Peter Schweizer stated that “The Clinton Foundation and the Bill Clinton speaking fees are a way around” are ways around federal law preventing foreign nationals from putting money into campaigns to get access, and “So, now we have, influencing our policies and getting favors and access, foreign oligarchs, not just American businesses and citizens.”

Schweizer said, “We all know that in politics a guy on Wall Street raises money for a candidate, sometimes because they want access and they want favors, but federal law prevents foreign nationals from doing that. If you’re a guy like Gilbert Chagoury, you cannot put money in a campaign to get access, because we don’t want foreign entities getting access and influencing our policymakers. The Clinton Foundation and the Bill Clinton speaking fees are a way around that. That’s why you have guys like Gilbert Chagoury, Frank Giustra, and others sending them large checks. So, now we have, influencing our policies and getting favors and access, foreign oligarchs, not just American businesses and citizens.”

Schwezier added of Chagoury, “I don’t think he is being suggested because of his Lebanese expertise. He’s being suggested because he’s a major Clinton Foundation donor. By the way, he’s somebody with a criminal record, convicted in Switzerland for aiding and abetting a criminal enterprise and money laundering, because he had this slight problem, he helped the Nigerian dictator, Abacha, smuggle billions of dollars out of the country into Swiss bank accounts. And he’s also very controversial in Lebanon. He does not represent a mainstream view of Lebanese opinion.”
