Last night I bought a ticket to go to Israel on January 7. My intention was to raise public awareness in the country of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). This is the drug that saved my life from Progressive Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis a short 6 months ago.  (http://www.googleldn.com)

I also hoped that after the publicity campaign I’d be able to find a publisher to translate Google LDN !, the book I wrote about the subject into Hebrew and distribute it in Israel.

The book should become available worldwide in another month or so and I was planning to return then to begin the publicity campaign in the US for the book.

Today I learned that Israel had invaded Gaza in an all out war effort.

So much for my LDN plans. The media in Israel will be far too occupied with the war to focus on my story, as well they should be.

I had long ago given up trying to plan for more than a few months in advance.  Now it appears it’s becoming impossible to plan from day to day.

But I’m still going, only instead of writing my LDN in Israel blog, I’m writing A Sclerotic Goes to War.

I plan to make daily video posts from the towns hit hardest in Israel, Ashkelon, Ashdod and Be’er Sheva.  I’ll present a very different picture from anything you’ll get from the mass media and I won’t pull any punches.

Though I’m too old to fight this time, at least I can show solidarity with my people under fire and listen and report about their experiences.

Come along with me for the ride.  It’s sure to be an “E ticket”.

Cheers!
