In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, former Alaska Governor and 2008 Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin weighed in on Senator Ted Cruz’s refusal to honor his pledge and endorse the GOP nominee Donald Trump.
Palin, whose endorsement of Cruz’s long-shot Senate bid in 2012 was credited by Cruz himself as the reason why he won the race that launched his national political career, gave the following statement to Breitbart after delegates booed Cruz off the stage at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night:
Turns out Ted Cruz’s partner, Carly Fiorina, had a more graceful exit from the political stage than he had.
Cruz’s broken pledge to support the will of the people tonight was one of those career-ending “read my lips” moments. I guarantee American voters took notice and felt more unsettling confirmation as to why we don’t much like typical politicians because they campaign one way, but act out another way. That kind of political status quo has got to go because it got us into the mess we’re in with America’s bankrupt budgets and ramped up security threats.
It’s commonplace for politicians to disbelieve their word is their bond, as evidenced by Cruz breaking his promise to endorse his party’s nominee, evidently thinking whilst on the convention stage, “At this point, what difference does it make?” We’ve been burned so horribly by that attitude that voters won’t reward politicians pulling that “what difference does it make” stunt again. Politicians will see — it makes all the difference in the world to us.

Former Gov. Sarah Palin said “Cruz’s broken pledge to support the will of the people tonight was one of those career-ending ‘read my lips’ moments.”
Roger Stone, former advisor to Trump, called Cruz a “dumb son of a bitch” and “a despicable human being,” adding that “no voter gives a crap about what Ted Cruz does — the only person this hurts is Ted Cruz.”
Gov. Chris Christie said in an appearance on CNN that the Texas senator’s speech was “awful and selfish.”
New York Congressman Peter King told NBC News that Cruz is “a fraud, he’s a liar, he’s self-centered and disqualified himself from ever being considered for president of the United States.”
Ronny Risinger, a delegate from Texas, called it “extremely disappointing.”
Louisiana Steve, a contributor to Warsclerotic, calls Cruz “a selfish little man who repeatedly puts himself before the will of the people and the needs of our country.”

He’s way too easy to destroy by the democrats.
You’ll hear EVERY SINGLE skeleton in his closet brought out and danced around by the media.
He’s a misogynist that every woman will think twice about voting for JUST for that reason alone.
All Hillary needs to do is say, “I’ll be the FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT” for the next four months and Trump is destroyed with that 50.8% of the electorate already against him.

Whatever you believe about Trump, good or bad, I think we can agree Hillary would be far worse than anyone else. Sitting out like Ted Cruz is not the answer. Sitting out like Ted Cruz is a vote for Hillary. When will YOU wake up?

Ted Cruz is shown walking behind Mr. and Mrs. Obama, Valerie Jarrett, and directly in front of a woman who appears to be Hillary Clinton via a flight on Air Force One from D.C. to Dallas.
D.C. Whispers readers can decide for themselves what to make of this. An innocent acceptance of a free plane ride with the current and potential future globalist power players, or something else?
