The Iranian Revolutionary Guards conducted ballistic missile tests in the framework of an exercise within the country, ISNA Iranian News Agency reported: “The experiment was designed to show the Islamic Republic of Iran’s deterrence power.”
“Missile fire demonstrates Iran’s capability to fend off any threat posed to the Islamic Republic’s sovereignty as a nation,” another message stated. The missiles were launched from several sites across the country.
