The video, released on the social media, is titled “Letter Number 1”. It features a young Palestinian about to carry out a suicide bombing in Israel. The terror organization threatens to escalate the confrontation and recent wave of terror.

In the beginning of the video, the al-Aqsa Mosque is shown, followed by photos documenting confrontations between Israelis and Palestinians in Jerusalem’s Old City. In between photos, an explosive charge containing screws and bullets is seen, just like the ones used by suicide terrorists in the beginning of the last decade.

Next in the video is a camera positioned inside a dark room, which projects photos of terrorists who carried out attacks in the past. Then, the young Palestinian reads out loud his suicide letter.

The soldier is then seen wearing the IDF uniform and carrying a large bag, which presumably contains a powerful explosive charge, and making his way towards a hitchhiker’s stop where Israeli soldiers are standing. At the end of the short film, a title in Hebrew reads: “Letter Number 1”, which is probably a bad translation for “Message Number 1,” which the Islamic Jihad wishes to convey to Israel.

In the beginning of the last decade, dozens of Israelis were murdered in suicide bombings in the centers of Israeli cities. According to the Shin Bet database, 138 Israelis were killed during the Second Intifada in suicide attacks carried out by Palestinian terrorists. 70% of them were civilians.
