Beside the nitty gritty of the reality there is still beauty.

Forgive me.

  1. i can’t help but to feel as if I’m beong spoken to as if I were a simpleton child, when listening to B. Streisland prattle her endless admiration for S. Peres, as if not one single policy of his has failed, or has been wrong headed in any way. pretty tacky!

And did you listen to the music ?

    • i turned it off as soon as she started singing. i listened to her little speech, to see if she’d say anything worthwhile (which she didn’t). i don’t care about b.streisland’s music. during all the years that she has been around, i never did care for her music, and i care less for her secular humanism. the emptiness of the ideas behind her secular humanism, and that of most other leftists of her ilk, in my opinion, is degrading to the capacity of human beings to possess and to develop intellect.

Ok,i think see has a beautiful voice even when is older !

but what do you mean with leftist secular humanism ?

I like to call my self an atheist and one of the objective pragmatic realistic type but leftist, me ???

I do not see the connection with leftist

    • yes, of course. her voice is wonderful. as for, “leftist secular humanism”: in the parlance of today (at least within my circle of associates), a secularist would be someone who affirmatively rejects the idea that there is a divine being, vastly more powerful than any of us.

a secularist is a person who attaches more significance to human affairs than to ideas related to the existence of a divine being.

for example, in the heart and mind of the devoted secular humanist, most likely, the words in a song by abba would contain a greater quantity of absolute truth than the five books of moses.

left-wing politics are political positions or activities that accept or support, “social equality”. In the polarized world of today, with all the instantaneous world-wide exchange of information that has become available, the committed leftist retains his unquestioning devotion to leftist ideology, irrespective of whatever inherent faults may be revealed to him or her regarding the very dogma that he upholds and supports, unwavering.

But makes that me a leftist ?

I still do no see the connection .

Do you need not more information to make that conclusion, ?

        • thank you for your response. at the moment, i am too exhausted to bat this subject, or any subject, back and forth. you have your beliefs and i have mine. may we just leave it at that? thanks.
