IDF troops gather on border ahead of ground invasion
Rescue forces dispel report of seriously injured man in Ashdod | The Times of Israel.
The IDF is amassing forces on the Gaza Strip border in preparation for a ground offensive, a senior IDF official says.
Nearly 900 targets have been hit so far, including hundreds of launching pads in Gaza. Many mid-level and low-level Hamas and jihad operatives have been targeted, while senior leaders go underground, the official says.
Many targets have been avoided due to collateral damage, he says, adding that Hamas has been launching rockets from both inside and around mosques more than in the past.

If Israel truly wants to win the war they’ll have to put aside this PC garbage about mosques and collateral damage.
When the enemy knows you won’t hit mosques, hospitals, schools, etc, it makes it much easier for them.
There should be no such safe zones for the enemy!

Agreed, there were none in WWII.

During the American Civil War when Lincoln came to the terrible realization that in order to win the war he needed to raze the a South to the ground. He agonized over it, but he did it. That’s what great leaders do.

Cant do this here because of population density, statistically there would be 80% civilian casualties, more than 2% would be considered a serious war crime which would definitely involve prosecution,The Geneva convention governs this, and 2% civilian casualty’s would be unacceptable to any commander, and that went for ww11 too

My question is…would Hamas give a damn about the Geneva convention if they would (heaven forbid) overrun Israel?

We all know they wouldn’t care steve <But this is what separates us from the animals and i truly believe that the IDF is about to be released from its past constraints,They will finish the job this time Hamas wont exist after this assault thats what i am hearing
