Whatever anyone thinks of Israeli governments sixty six years young is an impressive achievement for a country surrounded by those who believe it has no right to exist. I do as do many have some objections to methods and expansion but Israel has every right to exist in strength and harmony with its neighbours, and that it is thriving in spite of all the obstacles is a credit to the country, the people and a living tribute to all those who suffered at the hands of the Nazis

There are the obvious Golan Heights, parts of Jerusalem, Jerusalem itself! the wall cutting through Palestinian land and the continual new settlements.
Israel is a country like any other it has the right to defend itself it does not have the right to annex the land of other countries in order to do so.
I wanted this post to be a kind of non political simple gesture of congratulation to a country surrounded by those who want to destroy it but I couldn’t do that without acknowledging that there are aspects of Israeli govt expansionism that are a genuine cause for concern for the surrounding countries and the rest of the world.

Well it seems to me you do not have enough knowledge about the situation around Israel and international rights and use the false paradigm of Israels land grabbing as so many are doing !
There is zero expansion , dig into the modern history of Israel

Happy birthday to Israel – the apple of HIS eye ! I’m so glad to know that in this crazy world one thing is for sure : HE who watches over Israel never slumbers nor sleeps ! If we have to worry, we have to worry first for the nations, especially those who fight Israel for their future is unsure. But Israel has an eternal covenant with her
God who is more than able to keep her and protect her ! I love Israel because I dont know any other nation so beautiful – the land , the people….! And if there is a nation who deserves full support, its Israel for Israels goals are just !
