Don’t say it can’t be done

Israel Hayom | Don’t say it can’t be done.

There is only one way to avoid a nuclear Iran: to attack it • Any deal, bad or somewhat bad, won’t change that • The IDF has already proved it can do the impossible; it can also do the unthinkable • Ultimately, we cannot trust anyone but ourselves.

Just as the Allies did the unthinkable, so too can Israel

  1. BBC: Iran FM Sectarian strife is ‘worst threat’
    – Maybe Iran & Saudi Arabia will engage in war soon? Didn’t Hashem use to solve Israel’s problems this way? But its good Israel is prepared for active defence 🙂

    Bravo, the author nails it.
I want to add only two things.
    1. The IAF does not necessarily need those huge bunker busters. According to an expert the IAF has already trained to hit the same targets repeatedly with high precision.
Hitting the same spot repeatedly with smaller bunker busters eventually penetrates any target. There are also other possibilities which I’m not going to mention here.

    2. “A deal with Iran, be it bad or just somewhat bad, cannot change the fact that the only way to stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon is to attack it — as a last resort.”
Since the author seems to think that no good deal can be reached the ‘last resort’ has to be used anyway.
So, why waste any more time and wait?
    Israel should attack now.

I like the author’s line “any deal, bad or somewhat bad”.

Indeed that feels like the only possible results that can come from Geneva.

Netanyahu and his security cabinet have known all along that diplomacy and sanctions won’t stop Iran. The only question is how much longer do they allow this charade to continue?

I am curious what the desperate diplomats will do if still no deal exists on November 20. Will they try to negotiate for 5 days straight? Will they schedule a new round of talks every week now?

Absolutely! To them, all they want is a deal for the sake of making a deal. It’s all politics with these clowns.

Would be nice if the Saudi air force lent a helping hand.

“Ultimately, we cannot trust anyone but ourselves.”

The headline says it all; the rest simply fills space.

OK, Amos. You are on your own. Put up.

What’s that you say? Don’t say it can’t be done.
