Moscow announces Netanyahu to meet Putin in two weeks – as Kerry lands in Jerusalem.
Shortly before US Secretary of State John Kerry landed in Jerusalem Tuesday night, Nov. 5, the Russian president’s office announced that Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu would pay a short working visit to Moscow on Nov. 20 for talks with President Vladimir Putin.
debkafile’s sources: The Israeli leader has determined to explore the route trodden by Saudi Arabia, Gulf Emirates and Egypt, who – feeling let down by the Obama administration’s decision to pull out of the Middle East, and concerend by its outreach to Iran – turned to Moscow in search of closer diplomatic and military ties.
Although this was in Netanyahu’s mind for some time, Putin chose to announce his visit just as Kerry was to land in Jerusalem, attesting to Moscow’s eagerness to maintain the political and military momentum it has established in the Middle East.
Earlier Tuesday, Moscow announced that Geneva II, the conference for a political solution of the Syrian war, would not take place at the end of the month as scheduled.
Monday, debkafile’s military sources revealed exclusively that Russia, with Saudi encouragement, was negotiating for a permanent berth for its warship in one of Egypt’s Mediterranean ports.
With the wheels of the region spinning at such speed, Netanyahu felt obliged to find out for himself what Israel had to gain from closer ties with Moscow. Russia is becoming more and more influential in determining Middle East affairs against the growing passivity of the Obama administration – a situation Israel cannot afford to ignore. Neither is Netanyahu indifferent to Putin’s expanding role in developing the back-channel between Washington and Tehran.
Netanyahu last met Putin in May when he made the trip to the Black Sea resort of Sochi to urge the Russian leader not to supply Syria with S-300 anti-aircraft batteries.
The coming visit will have a wider agenda, including Syria and the ongoing negotiations with the Palestinians sponsored by the United States. But the most central issue will no doubt be Iran and its nuclear program. That visit will no doubt overshadow Secretary Kerry’s talks in Jerusalem and the Palestinian Authority and his reproof on the sluggish pace of their peace talks.

Incredible! Bibi is off to Russia to find a new superpower to suck up to instead of bombing Iran.
Always some foreign nation he must worship. Moses sent spies to Israel and they came back with a defeatist report saying there were giants in the land and we are mere grasshoppers. Bibi spent years acting like Washington was the giants. Now he is off to kiss the feet of Putin. Obama will not save Israel from Iran, France won’t, England won’t. So he’s off to suck up to Putin.
The moment Israel mobilizes to bomb Iran US intelligence with its X-band radar in Israel and other technologies will know, warn Obama and Obama will warn Iran. Military theorist Carl von Clausewitz said surprise is much easier in tactics, small scale operations, than in strategy, large scale operations. Logically, the solution is to start the war with Iran WITHOUT a major initial mobilization. One single blow that breaks Iran’s knee caps before Israel even has to mobilize. Only an EMP can do this. EMP is a small scale operation because it takes only one missile, just lil ole push of one button, and boom! Bang zoom! Iran’s electrical circuits are fried, telecommunications and everything else are knocked out, Iran is immobilized and all the military and nuclear targets in Iran become sitting ducks whether all the screaming towel heads get warning or not.
In the Six Day War Israel immobilized the Arabs by first bombing and cratering their airfields. The planes couldn’t take off so they were all sitting ducks and got wiped out with further bombing that was a piece of cake.
For Iran only an EMP can do something like that. Would Bibi use an EMP? Of course not! The world might get mad at Bibi!
Instead, Bibi is sweating under the collar because Obama keeps leaking. So he’s got it all figured out! He’ll find a NEW giant to suck up to!
When Oblather made his stupid “Ich bin ein a Muslim” speech in Cairo, for which he got the easiest Nobel Prize ever awarded, Bibi was in a PANIC. Obama made a speech! Obama made a speech! So Bibi goes running to Bar Ilan University to make a speech of his own, declaring that he too thinks there should be a Palestinian state. After all. When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Washington, do as Obama does. When in Moscow, do what Putin says. Heaven help us from Bibi’s endless shleps.
President Kennedy said in the 1960 presidential election, “Richard Nixon says that if he is elected president he will go to Europe. I say to you that if I am elected president I will go to Washington!” So Bibi is off to Canada, America, Moscow, Gilligan’s Island. EVERYWHERE BUT ISRAEL. Somebody, SOMEBODY’S got to give me PERMISSION to bomb Iran! There is no permission, there is no support, the world couldn’t even stop Assad from using chemical weapons. Nobody is going to like it if the Jews survive. Better to be alive and hated. Bibi would rather be loved and dead.
Bibi could have bombed Iran AGES ago. Instead, it’s all, “PLEASE SOMEBODY LOVE ME!”
Every day Iran gets closer to a bomb and every day Bibi acts like a bigger crybaby nebbish, begging the world for approval that will never come. Years after Israel bombed Iraq’s nuclear plant everyone finally admitted Israel did the right thing. No one is going to admit it right away because, as General Nasser once said, “NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE JEWS.” But instead of taking care of business in Iran, Bibi is busy running around the world like a chicken without a head screaming, “Please! Somebody love me!”
Instead of spending days, weeks, years rushing to and fro searching for someone to please love me, this is what it is going to take to stop Iran, an EMP, one-stop-shopping for all your military needs. I could make a fortune taking bets that Bibi won’t have the guts to use it. HE’S TOO CHICKEN. Here’s what. Don’t drop an EMP on Iran. Let Iran get the bomb. Better to be loved and dead, huh Bibi?
