The English section of the voice of the Islamic Republic of Iran started work in 1956 with the aim of familiarizing different world nations with Iran’s history and culture as well as its different regions and historical sites. Following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, elaborating on the revolution’s stances and the ideals of the Islamic Republic system were put high on the English radio’s agenda. English speaking countries such as the US, Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealand and those countries with English as their second language, including such European countries as Germany, France, Sweden, Asian countries such as Pakistan, as well as Indian subcontinent and Latin and Central American countries, comprise the addressees of the English radio. Around 180 minutes of programs in the form of recorded programs, live news, commentaries and news reports are produced in the English section each day. The radio’s schedule includes the recitation of Quranic verses, news, political commentaries, different series and features on special occasions. Around 170 letters from different countries are received each month by the English radio.

The English section of the voice of the Islamic Republic of Iran is supervised by the General Department of the US and Europe of the IRIB’s World Service. The department includes the Albanian, German, Spanish, English, Italian, Bosnian, Russian and French radios, the programs of which address the European, American, Latin American, Canadian, North African, Central African, Southern African, Indian Subcontinent and Central Asian regions.

When first I read this I thought its something like ”The Free Europe Radio”, back in the days. But this is their official radio station, in English. I’ll say it simply: they cannot be trust. Lets see them first change their dictatorial regime and we’ll talk after. We don’t need to drink a poisoned lemonade. Served by Persians.

The Islamic Republic of Iran? ”Republic” in my ass. Just a sorry gang of murders under their dying leader. I feel sorry already for those 72 virgins waiting for him up there. They deserve something better, those poor babies.

Wingate, I have news for you, news that I got right now, new and fresh, as they were before 3,000 years ago. The God of Israel doesn’t like people and countries who are threatening His beloved people. Nasty things happened to this kind of people all along the History. The Pharaoh’s Army who suddenly was swallowed by the sea, the Nazis and the Nazi Germany fate and so on. I have only one recommendation for those Shiite ayatollahs : ”Don’t mess with the Zohan”.

Shabbat shalom Luis – you know me by now so you know that he who is against Israel is against me and I am against him – if necessary physically and for the ultimate price ! Israels history is full of miracles ( or one big miracle ) – so the God of Israel continues do miracles to protect Israel ! one of the possible miracles could be that HE removes the iranian dictatorship ( where is Mr. Khamenei ?????) and installs good people to power ! I met quite many good iranians/people who suffered terribly from the dictatorship.. If they come to power – good for Israel – the miracle would be perfect !

Neither he nor I have anything to do with the conflict. He’s doing his job just like I’m doing mine.
He “liked” 5 of my posts, so I went to see who this was. When I realized it was official Iran I was shocked!
He’s either taking a huge risk to himself, acting under orders to “be nice” a la Rouhani or there is actually the beginning of a change in Iran.
If Israel’s head of intelligence says something is changing there, it’s a possibility.
In any event, in any of the above cases I would respond with decency and friendly hope for a better tomorrow. It does nothing to hurt Israel and may, just may help move some minds over there towards avoiding the cataclysm that we all fear.
Looking over his page, I found no anti-Israel propaganda. True, I didn’t do a search only scanned the first page.
Understand…. I’m big-time anti-war, having fought in them. If there’s ANY way to avoid war without endangering the Jewish state I’m for it.
If we need to fight, I was and still am first in line to volunteer.

Every aspect of the communication issue is closely monitored in Iran by the authorities. I know what I’m talking about because I came from such a state. Before I ”stick it” I recommend to take into consideration this fact and don’t run blind into their propaganda.
That site is monitored by the Iranian state. From my part, one can send them even flowers. Its not my concern to who people are talking. But I can decide to who am I talking.

How could saying what I said to Iran Radio hurt Israel?
It’s one thing to be committed to preventing the mullahs from getting the bomb. It’s quite another to treat every Iranian as an enemy you can’t even talk to with decency online.
Remember, there’s a reason it’s important that there be an Israel.
The world may be convulsed with paroxysms of hypocrisy and hate.
Israel shows another way. The Torah says that one day we’ll set the standard.
So it was written, so we should do.

I hate to burst your bubble but it is very difficult for the masses to overthrow tyrannical regimes.
Look at the 2009 Green Revolution and the Syrian civil war that has been raging for over 2 years. Hundreds of thousands of “good men” are dead and both Assad and Khamenei remain in power.
As far as I’m concerned war is inevitable. The clock is too short now for anything to change.

OFF TOPIC : Please help to clarify an article I just read on the Debkafile that Iran wants to fly its jets to JFK .I cannot believe this .Obama is making it easy for them to get the bomb but also the means to deliver it .Someone tell me this can not be true !
