“He’s made his decision,. (but won’t do anything) now it’s up to congress.”
I feel bad for Kerry. He seems to really care about the Syrian people and America’s importance to a sane and safe world.
Too bad he’s working for (yes we can as long as someone else is responsible) Obama.

Then you might want to listen to this serious stuff:
Obama did run to the Congress, seeking the ”legitimation” for a ”military strike designed to be limited in scope, narrow” and, mostly, ”discrete”. By this maneuver, Obama is hoping to free himself from the red line chain he put on himself, to show everyone that he is ”more pope than the pope” and throwing a very hot potato in the Congress hands. He even might enjoy himself, Obama.
But his lifetime surprise is still in front of him : the Congress will give him the approval and the legitimacy he is so ”hardly” seeking with one condition : no more ”discrete” strikes and all the Obama bullsh!t, but a clear plan and scope with the WMD elimination in mind. And no more gloves for Assad; the Syrian dictator and its murderous regime should disappear from the history pages.
That’s all. No more monkey business and no more ”monkeys with grenades in their hands”.

I agree Luis. I’ve felt that way for some time now. However, I find it hard to believe that congress will grant Obama approval to proceed in any manner. The American people are dead set against it.

I am hardly an ‘anti-war’ pacifist by any means, but this intervention would be a bad one.
Assad is a monster supported by monsters- but the cost may be too high in that it would bring death to more people and perhaps (if Russia is to be believed in its ardent support) death around the entire WORLD.

Steve, I’m trying to tell you that we all will be very surprised when the congress will send Obama to do his job, as a president. Yes, it will happen. Obama will fall in its own trap. And its not a feeling, but an understanding of the present situation and, most importantly, the president situation. The Congress is not going to make life easy for Obama. The republicans don’t like Obama very much, they will do everything in their power to show how weak and hesitant he is.
The Congress will make an offer Obama cannot refuse.
September 1, 2013 at 9:55 PM
Well, if Congress truly represents the will of the American people and folks I speak with here in the US represent the rest of America, then Obama will not get his approval. But then again, that’s a lot of if’s.

Not going to happen Luis. Israel will be left alone In a raging sea of Radical Islam screaming death to Israel armed to the teeth with Missiles,CW and soon atomics.
“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”
Winston Churchill

When we make fun of these things, it’s not because they are really funny or because we want to offend our American friends here.
it’s because the handling of Syria by this administration has become so sad, pathetic and ridiculous that we can’t take it serious and it deserves to be mocked.
in this crazy, cruel and corrupt world humor is often the only way to preserve our mental health.

Agreed one hundred percent. See, for example, ”The Dictator”. That movie says it all. It was funny and it was tragic. It was Chaplin.

One of my alltime favourites.
Absolutely brillant and prophetic.

Talk on rotter of an F22 shot down by Syria
September 1, 2013 at 11:05 PM
And four tomohok missiles.
Oh yeh.
The string of comments to that scoop is even funnier.
“They forgot to mention the two flying subs”
“And that a Syrian soldier gave BHO a kick in the B*M.”
All in the name of El Manaar Radio Hizballah, of course.
