Comprehensive Israeli Navy Exercise

Comprehensive Israeli Navy Exercise.

The Israeli Navy’s submarine and vessel layouts were exercised as well in the framework of the large-scale naval exercise held this week

Throughout the past week, all of the Israeli Navy’s forces, including both naval forces and coastal layouts, conducted exercises of various multi-arena combat scenarios. These scenarios included providing fire assistance for fighting forces, locating and attacking enemy targets, fire of enemy missiles towards Navy vessels, rescue from naval vessels, connectivity between Navy forces and more.

The exercise began on Sunday morning, with all of the Israeli Navy’s naval units being put in a state of alert. Shortly afterwards, naval vessels from Shayetet 3, naval commando and submarine fighters under the command of squadron commanders headed to the sea and managed the forces according to the various scenarios, which included combat against enemy fleets and protecting Israel’s naval border.

Regular and reserve forces took part in the exercise, and according to an initial review, significant accomplishments were achieved during the exercise, including significant damage to enemy forces, target destruction and the strengthening of the cooperation with the Israeli Air Force. The exercise, which was planned in advance in the framework of the Navy’s annual training, was essentially the height of a long process for preserving the operational fitness of the Navy’s various units, which included preparations and internal exercises within all of the units.

Maj. Gen. Ram Rothberg, Commander of the Israeli Navy, who joined the fighters at sea, commended the spirit of combat and said: “The cooperation between all of the Navy’s forces as well as the cooperation with the various corps represents the strength of the IDF. The Navy is required to be relevant and to constantly be integrated in IDF combat.”

No, not at all. We are going to see lots of exercises in the coming future; one of those ”exercises” can be the trampoline for big and better things.
One fact must be clear: the probability regarding a solo israeli action is exponentially increasing because of the new situation in Iran. Previously, when an idiotic Ahmadinejad was spreading its vitriolic rhetoric all around the world and was, de facto, the best hasbara(propaganda) minister for Israel, in his time Israel didnt have problems to explain why Iran is evil and could hope that USA, one day, would intervene. But now, there is no chance that Obama will order such an attack on Iran. It simply wont happen. We dont know who were more happy after the iranian elections: Obama or the iranian people. Or both. And now, Israel is ”feeling the loneliness” and as such, Israel might decide to act immediately and not waiting anymore. Because, my friends, there is nothing to wait for. Acting right now will also achieve the complete surprise effect – I hope nobody important on the other side is reading our humble lines here. Anyhow, all those who are telling us that the israeli action is fading away, are deadly wrong or are in the disinformation business. Israel simply dont have anymore time for waiting for any negotiations between Iran, Europe and USA. The israeli hour glass is close to the finish line.
