Israeli Air Force continues air strikes against Damascus.

DEBKAfile Special Report May 5, 2013, 6:14 AM (GMT+02:00)

Israeli rockets early Sunday, May 5, reportedly struck the Jamraya military research center just north of Damascus, the same target Israeli planes attacked in January to prevent advanced weapons from reaching Hizballah.

debkafile: The Israeli operation in Syria appears to be in its opening stages after it turned out that earlier air strikes  failed to prevent the Syrian army from transferring Scud D and Fateh-110 missiles to Hizballah units fighting in Syria the next day, Saturday. They was passed to the Al Qods and Al Mahdi brigades leading the battle for the key town of Al Qusayr near the Lebanese border, which Syrian rebels have held for more than a year.
Syrian state TV reported the attack. There was no comment from Israeli spokesmen.
