JERUSALEM, April 7 (UPI) — In remarks on Yad Vashem, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu promised Israel would defend itself against Iran perpetrating another Holocaust.

Netanyahu reaffirmed his stance that Israel will act unilaterally to strike Iran if the nation is close to creating a nuclear weapon, The Times of Israel said Sunday. The annual Israeli Holocaust remembrance offered stark historical precedent for such an attack, he said.

“Iran is warning openly about its intentions to destroy us and is working with all its might to carry it out,” Netanyahu said. “The hate against Jews hasn’t disappeared, but has morphed into a murderous hate against the Jewish state. We won’t leave our fate in the hands of others, even the best of our friends. … Here, and today, I promise — there will never be another Holocaust.”

Israeli President Shimon Peres, speaking at the same service, lamented the anti-Semitism that still exists in the world, even after an estimated 6 million European Jews were systematically killed by the Nazi regime during World War II.

“The civilized world must ask itself, how in such a short space of time after the crematoria were extinguished, after the terrible death toll that the allied powers endured to put an end to the Nazi devil, is it still possible for the leadership, like that of Iran, to openly deny the Holocaust and threaten another Holocaust,” Peres said. “Whoever ignores the threat against one nation, must know that the threat of a Holocaust against one nation is a threat of a Holocaust against all nations.”

Eventually Israel will have no other choice but to finish the Iranian atomic facilities, even with a price of a war. There are already to many infra structures that IAF will have to deal with. The assertion of the Mosad that undercover operations will be sufficient was not accurate and now we can see why. More waiting, more threats will not do the job, also. May be now is the right moment, when already big crises are developing and an Israeli action will arrive like a surprise for many.

Come on Luis, how many years of hollow threats does it take before you finally acknowledge it is not going to happen?

If Israel is to survive-you are right-they will have no other choice than to take it upon themselves alone ,initially,to destroy the Iranian nuke weapons program as well as Iran’s military.Destroying the Iran nuke program means also destroying Iran’s military -and it is unknown,at least for me,if other countries will join to defend Iran, and others join Israel, not because they want to,but by default, since Iran without a doubt will strike at the Saudis, and the other Gulf states. This is going to be the mother of all wars for Israel, and likewise for Iran.Israel will have no choice but to devastate Iran with all its available arsenal including tactical nukes. But the Iranian regime, like the Nazis’ before them, brought upon themselves. The continual threats of exterminating a people that were nearly exterminated before, is like playing Russian roulette with a loaded gun.At some point it is going to go off,and it it is going to blow off the head of the Iranians.I believe the jews are not going down without a deadly fight, and they will bring with them down whomever wishes to join them. They have a doctrine for that-it is the Samson option.
