Cease fire ?
It’s beginning to smell like a cease fire is happening. Arab media is reporting it will begin in 24 hours. Israel has said nothing. There have been no rockets fired on Israel in 2 hours.
No agreement will prevent another go round in this war, so long as Hamas has access to weapons. It’s the nature of the beast.
I have to believe that Netanyahu will not abandon the people of Israel. I have to believe that whatever decision he makes is in the best interests of Israel and is not born out of fear of the enemy or the “ally.”
Nothing is settled yet. We may go in tomorrow.
Still, I’m getting a Gestalt of a coming cease fire.

The Al-Arabiya network reported that a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas may go into effect within 24 hours. The report has not been confirmed.

It will be cease fire and some sort of ”agreement”. The ground invasion of Gaza will not take place, after all. Bibi doesn’t want it, Barak doesn’t want it, Benny Gantz doesn’t want it. And we have forgot, of course, Egypt, Obama, Germany ,Great Britain.
Nobody wants it. Only Israeli’s south people want it. But nobody listen to them. They are not part of the ”Tel Aviv State”. And Bibi has an election to win. Ground invasion? Before the elections? Are you crazy ? Bibi will never put his chair in jeopardise. So, see you all the next ”round”. Because it will be soon here.

JW The government’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will meet on Tuesday to discuss a request by Defense Minister Ehud Barak to call up more troops ahead of a possible ground invasion of Gaza. The ministry has already been green-lighted to call up 75,000 troops.
Some 30,000 to 40,000 troops have already been called up/

Red alert sirens were sounded in communities across the South just before 2a.m. overnight Monday.
Ashkelon, Sderot, the Be’er Tuvia Regional Council, Kiryat Gat and the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council were among the communities in which sirens warning of rockets were sounded.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage in the attacks.

6. Pressure is finally put on the snake in the woodpile who is responsible for all this conflagration….Iran. The US and NATO demand Tehran cease all offensive operations, nuclear programs, and weapons shipments or face total destruction within days. Not weeks. Not months. Not years. Days!
7. The damn fools refuse the demands and are rendered incapable of any further threat through total and utter destruction.
Hopefully, it will not have to happen this way.

My gut feeling is that Hamas (Iran) is playing the media card. I think their aim is to use international left wing media to galvanize public opinion against Israel, diminishing supporters and isolating it. I can see the media here in America already weakening and showing videos of people on the street worrying about the poor people in Gaza, and the words being used by news anchors.
Hamas must be totally defeated. No chance to rearm. We must complete this task and not let the left wing supporters of Jihad defeat us.

An israeli ground invasion of Gaza cannot be terminated without Hamas being wiped of and all the terrorist nests being cleansed.
Such an operation is possible but very pricey. If such measures are to be taken,
than IDF will go all the way long in achieving the final goal and eradicating the jihadists in Gaza.
The problem is that this kind of operation can trigger big events here, in The Middle East. If Hezbollah will intervene to help their Gaza jihadists comrades then Israel will have to blitz Lebanon and Gaza. The iranian X will be taken into consideration, too.
The bottom line is that a big conflagration is to be taken into consideration if such an invasion will occur. And we didn’t mentioned another big regional X here, which is Assad’ Syria.

I’m still betting that the overall issue at hand with gaza is just a ploy for a more widespread operation. True that Gaza alone is worth the effort just to put a stop to Hamas and all of the rockets. But, everything is in place for a much larger operation. My guess is that this will evolve (as planned) into taking out Hezbollah, Syria, Iran et all.

A majority of Arabs are antisemitic. It means their ultimate dream is the same as the Nazis : to exterminate the Jewish people. But since this deadly hatred is linked to their religion, it can not be erased by a lost war. As long as Arabs are Muslims, they hate and want to exterminate the Jews. From a strategic point of view, there are two logical paths for us : turning Muslims into non-believers through the spread of Western culture…or exterminating Arab Muslims (or sending them back to the Middle Ages from a technological point of view with EMPs) while the West enjoys a military and technological advantage. The first strategy does not seem to work. On the contrary, women’s freedom in Western movies/ads/series only exacerbates their hatred for women and for the West. There is only one logical choice left.

1st: Any ceasefire signed with Hamas is risible, because it suggests that they have control over all terrorist factions operating in Gaza. How many minutes will it take until Islamic Jihad breaks it?

Eventually, after decades of this psychoanalytical work, one can become deeply sane (which does not mean being a long-bearded pacifist). At this point you can clearly see who is insane. And you become a realist.
Right now, as an idealist, you are projecting onto people your unconscious weaknesses. Clearly, you are too weak to face reality : there are many insane people on this planet, and especially in the Muslim population. It is inevitable since they usually raise their children without loving them, and parents form pathological couples in which the wife is a slave of the husband. In the end children raised in such an absurd environment cannot love life, and they become psychopaths, following in the steps of their parents. No wonder the Muslim ideal is to become a martyr : life has never been a pleasant experience since their birth. I’ve been reading more Nietzsche, trying to figure out what the hell you’re on about, then I remembered, there’s none so blind as those who won’t see.
Nietzsche lauded the Jews for how they’ve survived, because of the way in which they’ve galvanized their religion into something as solid as The Foundation Stone in the face of numerous outrageous pogroms.
He said the Jews COULD, not SHOULD rule Europe.
What he said about Judaism is as scathing as his remarks on all religions/mythologies, although interestingly he admires the Moors in Spain.

I read all of Nietzsche more than once. I also read books about him. Among those I read one about Nietzsche and the Jews. Try to do the same ! Then you will understand his complex thoughts clearer.
Basically, Nietzsche wrote that the Jews forming a new aristocracy to lead Europe would be positive.
