Revolutionary Guard’s Chief Jafari says two nations will surely see military conflict in the future; stresses ‘it is not clear when and where’ war will take place

A war between Iran and Israel “will eventually happen,” Revolutionary Guards commander General Mohammad Ali Jafarisaid Saturday.

“The war will eventually happen but it is not clear when and where it will take place,” Jafari was quoted by the ISNA and Fars agencies as saying.

Jafari further expressed confidence that the Islamic Republic “will destroy the Jewish state.”

“This cancerous tumor Israel seeks to launch a war against us, but we do not know when it will happen. They (the Israelis) believe the war as the only way to confront us, but they are so stupid that their masters (the US) should stop them,” Jafari said.

“If they start (aggression), this will lead to their destruction,” he declared.

Last week, Jafari warned that “Nothing will remain” of Israel, should it strike Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Jafari said Iran’s response to any attack would encompass all of Israel’s borders, thus hinting that Tehran will not hesitate to use its regional proxies, Hezbollah and Hamas.

He further cautioned that if attacked, “Iran will no longer be committed to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.”

Also on Saturday, Brigadier General Abdul-Rahim Moussavi, deputy commander of the Iranian Army, warned the Islamic Republic’s enemies of Tehran’s “crushing response” to any strike on its soil.

“In case of an aggression, the enemy will face something that it has never expected,” Moussavi said.

“After all, our enemies are soldiers too, and they know that we have not displayed everything we have,” he told Fars.

If Israel dares “Embark on such a crazy move, it will speed up its annihilation,” he stated.

The military officials’ comments came on the heels of an Iranian power display – a military parade showcasing its ground and air capabilities – held on Friday in Tehran to mark Sacred Defense Week and the 32nd anniversary of the Iraq-Iran war.

As part of the parade, the Revolutionary Guard showcased its various surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles.

It is for the first time that the iranians are threatening Israel with WMD openly : ‘“After all, our enemies are soldiers too, and they know that we have not displayed everything we have”.

I think that this mambo jumbo war talks has reached its fair end I hope that we’ll see great changes in our region before the fateful american elections to presidency.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard will continue its buildup in Syria. The moment it makes a move to occupy the Syrian border at the Golan Heights, all hell will break loose.

what it really tells us is that the Iranians are shitting themselves

What this could also tell us is that the Iranians are threatening to deploy ex-Soviet nukes shipped to them under the nose of the US in the 90s. Calling their bluff is dangerous. Pre-emption can only be with the full force of an n-strike, with Israel condemned as history’s first nuclear aggressor, and vulnerable to retailiation for generations without US protection or support. A nightmare dilemma.

      Strong words, but true.

i doubt thats true,i know someone whos spent a decade investigating this and there still skeptical,so is the nsa and mi6,if iran had the 5 nukes it would be displaying them prior to use, they would of already used them

  4. In my opinion the landscape of the world we live in looks more and more like the 1930s (economically, militaristically, politically and socially).

We inhabit a world that like the 1930s is not prepared to pay the price of peace and nor is it prepared to pay to price of war, but my guess is that like the 1930s we’ll end up with war anyway.

Good comparison. Actually, we have now much more action than in september, 1939. In Syria there is war and Iran, China, Russia,Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Britain, USA are all involved in some kind of engagement.

In the same region, the clouds of another clash can be spotted at the horizon; despite great efforts, an overt war between Israel and Iran is about to erupt. And we didn’t even mentioned the flames which are now ignite the entire muslim world. Another Great War is already here.

…So we are back to the roots of this conflict , which is Iran.

We all agree that something drastic must be done on this issue.

Daer JW the following is an interesting Reoprt :

“The Ayatollah’s Nuclear Gamble” is a detailed, scientific discussion of the human and environmental consequences of a military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities. Years of careless fanaticism from Iran’s belligerent dictatorial theocracy has placed the lives of many Iranian citizens in danger.

Thank you sir, for this comprehensive article about, mostly, the implications of a nuclear fallout after a military strike on the iranian atomic facilities.
However, this study demonstrates – by its conclusions, even that it doesnt analyse the following option – that an EMP , even nuclear, its much better than the ” classical ” strikes.
If the conclusions of the present study are correct, than an EMP at a high altitude should be taken into consideration as the main option.

      • Kayvan's avatar Kayvan Says:

Dear Luis, I agree with you. Targeted EMP strikes are more efficient, quicker and safer with little collateral damages, civilian fatalities and un-intended regional and global consequences.

The Iranians chose there leader now there going to reap the rewards the cruelest option is emp,the suffering this will cause will be off the scale,60 million starving Iranians,it would be much kinder to give them 100 megatons ground burst say 200 half kiloton plutonium bombs, that would substantially reduce the suffering,as for fall out its not really an issue, making iran uninhabitable would serve us well
