Islamophobic Ad Coming To NYC Subway Stations
While outrage continues in the Middle Eastover the incendiary film, “The Innocence of Muslims,” a new pro-Israel ad denouncing Jihad as “savage” will soon make its debut in New York City’s subway system.The ad reads, “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad.”
The ads are expected to appear at ten subway stations as early as next week.
The New York Times reports MTA officials initially rejected the American Freedom Defense Initiative’s controverisal ad, but ultimately lost in court after a judge cited First Amendment rights.
Ron Meier of the Anti-Defamation League said in a statement, “We support the court’s conclusion that the ad is a form of protected speech under the First Amendment, yet we still strongly object to both the message and the messenger. We believe these ads are highly offensive and inflammatory. Pro-Israel doesn’t mean anti-Muslim. It is possible to support Israel without engaging in bigoted anti-Muslim and anti-Arab stereotypes.”
In August, the American Freedom Defense Initiative launched a similar ad campaign with an Islamophobic billboard at a Metro-North station, which declared, “19,250 DEADLY ISLAMIC ATTACKS SINCE 9/11/2001. IT’S NOT ISLAMOPHOBIA. IT’S ISLAMOREALISM.”
In response, local politician Paul Feiner suggested the MTA use profits from the ads to combat further discrimination.

I think a real western backlash against islam is beginning,i dont blame it on the people who created the ads the blame is on radical islam without it,these adds would not exist.whats worrying is how long it is before it turns to open warfare in the streets of the west

I wonder why western civilization which promote and propagates the concept of freedom of speech is so intolerant to realism. The utopia mindset of the liberal intellectuals and left politicians and the appeasers always mislead the public opinion in wrong direction. They appear to be suffering from a chronic and acute self-destructive Masochism :
Freedom of action is a must for our adversaries, but our freedom of speech should be limited;
Never confront the people who aspire to kill you, because it is their sacred beliefs and we must respect their beliefs ;
If you insult our adversaries and then they kill you in return, you deserve it ;
I love my enemy because it inflicts pain on me and pain is joyful;
Multiculturalism is good for the western societies, because life in the west has become too boring and we need to add color to it;
Obama is good because he is cosmopolitan and sophisticated and charming to our enemies but Romney is just a repetition of Reagan; … etc.
