Israel readies ‘secret weapon’ for Iran attack.

Mike Evans: Netanyahu ‘under pressure’ to delay until after U.S. election

LISTEN

Israel sees Iranian nuclear weapons as an existential threat, and plans are in place to carry out strikes to cripple the nuclear program by the middle of next month. Middle East expert Mike Evans says his discussions with top Israeli officials this week suggest there is a strong likelihood the attacks will take place between Sept. 15 and Oct. 15.

Evans estimates a 75 percent chance that strikes will be carried out in that 30-day window. Evans says high-ranking Israeli leaders also tell him they have a secret weapon they intend to deploy for any strikes, but they would not tell Evans what that weapon is. He believes the likely weapon is an electromagnetic pulse (EMP), which would cripple Iran’s power grid.

“Israel is trying to get a hard promise from the U.S. that they’ll support an attack,” Evans told WND.

Evans says he’s not surprised that the Obama administration is telling Israel and Iran that the U.S. will not back any Israeli attacks. He also reports that CIA Director David Petraeus and other American officials are strongly pressuring Israeli leaders to hold off on attacks before the U.S. elections. Evans explains what sort of ironclad promises from President Obama could convince Israel to stand down temporarily.

WND Senior Staff Reporter Jerome Corsi reported in 2009 on a “secret weapon” being developed and tested by Israel.

The test was done at an undisclosed Israeli military base, but few details were uncovered at the time. It was confirmed that the military specifically designed the weapon to be used in a possible conflict with Iran.

It may seem that the EMP issue its pretty hot in these days and this article is confirming facts we already know and discussed on this site :
    http://freebeacon.com/analyst-sees-possibility-of-emp-strike-on-iran/

The most interesting thing we may learn from that is the vulnerability of the iranian leadership after such a blow, if they are to be confronted with the opposition forces inside Iran.
Anyhow, we personally have big doubts that the IDF would ever use such an attack as the first strike. But we can be very much wrong, after all.

As EMP iran they may as well nuke them the suffering wont be as bad, whichever one it is i hope it causes the maximum damage,i think after recent statements from iran they truly deserve it and Obama truly deserves the fall out and comeback hopefully it will kill two birds with one stone,i did not wish any harm to the Iranian people but now i think there all the same and all deserve it,if only this had been done in 1939 the world would be a much different place,GODSPEED ISRAEL

An EMP would solve a lot of problems except one…it’s still nuclear . As a result of an EMP attack, my guess is that the international community will go berserk, Israel’s cover of nuclear denial will be moot, and the use of a nuke could open the door for further nuclear weapon use by other interested parties. Then again, it could all be over in a short while with minimal damage to life and property. That, alone, could be a good thing. I just hope ‘the powers that be’ make the right decision.

EMP weapons can be made in non-nuclear forms, however they are limited in range and pulse power. It would take multiple weapons and strikes to wipe out the Iranian nuclear program without sending them back to the Safavid era. A major high altitude EMP strike would create a huge humanitarian crises and isolate Israel both politically and economically from their major trading partners especially the EU. Smaller more directed strikes would be a better option. Along with knocking out selected power grids, refineries, as well as a dedicated cyber-attack could be sufficient to energize the Green Movement and force regime change. The key is for a strike to demonstrate to the people that the regime is vulnerable and unable to protect the country and by extension use its power to repress the citizenry.

PS Louisiana Steve. Over in Mississippi we have 16,000 dead nutria on our beaches from Plaquimines et. al.–got any good recipes !!! Glad you made it through the storm.

JJ, the best way to prepare nutria is to lay it on a fresh pine board, leave it in the sun for a day or two, then throw away the nutria and eat the board.

As for the 16k nutrias, sorry about the mess, I thought the alligators ate most of them. Maybe they just didn’t get to Mississippi yet…heaven forbid.

Looks like Isaac went into the Gulf again and is raining on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Unbelievable. Stay dry my friend.
