I think that in light of the discovery of the Flame virus on the highest level of Iranian government computers the capture of the RQ-170 by Iran was no accident.
In fact it was planned so that the Iranians would download the virus thinking they were hacking into the secrets of the drone. This allowed the CIA to effectively penetrate into the highest level of the Iranian government monitoring communications between key players.

Great…a high tech trojan horse. Who would have known? All along I complained the captured drone should have been equipped with a self destruct device. This is so much better.

Of course, I’d like to believe it, but, I have my doubts….Just consider how incredibly inept we were during the Osama ben Ladin raid …ie: leaving behind half of a cutting edge stealth helicopter for our enemies to capture and parse ~ do you think t-h-i-s too was ‘intentional’? (lol)

It sounds like science fiction but, hey, we are far beyond the limits of what once was considered sci fi. I pictured to my self the content faces of the iranian secret service cream downloading the software that will put in ” flame ” their systems. Great. From the other part, the Flame was active in Iran for the last four years at least and the drone was ” lost ” last year, if i’m not wrong. So questions still may be asked.
