A Personal Note…

f10000272

A number of you have written to me wondering why I haven’t been commenting much as of late on the posts.

The answer is twofold.  I have recently undergone a severe emotional trauma from a personal tragedy.

In addition, I’m having trouble knowing what to think.  A day doesn’t pass without multiple, contradictory stories about Iran/Israel/US.

The situation in Syria is deteriorating so fast, that it’s impossible to know what will happen there and when and what effect this will have on the Iran issue.

The Moscow talks will be determinative of Israel’s decision, in my estimation.  If they fail, or present a false front of success, my estimation is that Israel will act immediately.

Of course, all my other predictions have pretty much turned out to be wrong, so I have little faith in them any more.

Thank you all for your continuing support of the site.  When and if the action begins, I’ll be on the scene with direct video reports.

All donations to help keep the site going are gratefully acknowledged.

    JW,
Don’t feel bad about your predictions regarding timing of an Iran war being wrong. Many of us have been wrong as well. Personally I can’t believe the standoff has gone on as long as it has.
Regarding the talks they’ve never shown progress it just seems to be a matter of how long the West could pretend they were (and also how long Israel is willing to hold off).

The word is that there is about to be action,,which includes engaging russia militarily in syria,i asked how accurate this statement was and was told it may be a forgone conclusion, very worrying epically for those of us in europe as you can see it wont be limited to iran and syria if it involved russia,Godspeed joe

I wish you only the best of luck and a very good health. And you are perfectly right, Syria may be a game changer. If Iran can be knocked out – in a decisive manner – than suddenly all the problems will be solved ( Syria included ). The key is in the iranian issue. That must be solved in a ‘ 67 strike manner.

I agree with you all and wish to add that I believe Iran is once again throwing a curve ball in an effort to divert world attention. This may sound like nothing new, but this whole Syrian affair has become a part of that strategy and in a big way. Iran, with Russian help, is taking control of the Syrian situation as we speak and, I believe, doing all they can to pull us into yet another quagmire. Meanwhile, Tehran remains relatively safe for now. What we need is more focus. Focus on the head of the snake. Focus on those who caused so much turmoil in the mideast. Focus on those who are responsible for killing US troops, Israelis, and folks in the Arab world with impunity. Focus on those who are developing ways to kill on a grand scale. Focus on those who wish to dominate the entire mideast and beyond. Focus on those who would work to bring the US and Russian into military conflict. Focus on TEHRAN! One day they will have to face their enemies first hand. A day they have never know in modern times. A day of reckoning, absolute fear, and terror. One word says it all….karma!

JW- sorry for the difficult times. I wish only the best for you and yours. Stay safe.

    Luis, Steve…

I have felt the way you do for the last 3 years. Take out Iran and radical Islam will be finished AROUND THE WORLD !

My greatest confusion arises from the fact that Netanyahu has sat on his hands and allowed the situation to develop to the current potential disaster. I have always believed that he must have an “ace in the hole” that we don’t know about.

I sure hope that at least this time I am right…

I cannot understand the total reluctance in this world to engage Iran militarily. It goes against all logic and historically, has no precedent. In the past, wars throughout the world have started with far less provocation. I’m like the rest of you. I just don’t know what the heck is happening. In trying to explain this deadly enigma here are some possible and logical explanations:

    1. Iran has untold capabilities to defend itself, i.e. nuclear response capabilites, as well as chemical and biological.
    2. Iran has a secret defense pact with Russia and/or China.
    3. Iran can seriously disrupt the flow of oil inside and outside the Persian Gulf for an extended period of time.
    4. Iran is holding other countries hostage with serious terrorist threats.
    5. No one wants to call their bluff because of the high costs in life, property, and economy.

Feel free to add to the list. Since none of us seem to have any security clearances, we may never know for sure.

You must have fond memories of the times surrounding the photo you posted today, and in the past, Joe. Things to be proud of, and happy about. If only one could go back in time…

How very fortunate you are to have things so moving to reminisce about. Memories in which to find solace.

As to the state of the world – I would venture a guess that bullies have more in common, (whatever their age or position) than most decent people realize. Until someone cares enough, and has the chutzpah to put a bully in his/her place, the bully grows in real and imagined power like a quickly spreading cancer. One doesn’t pick and poke at a cancer, but hits it with everything one has. The sooner, the better.

You will get through your difficult time, Joe. The sun will come out again.

joe this has jut gone on debka,so i would say my first post is correct,,US, UK, France initiate Security Council motion for military intervention in Syria
    DEBKAfile June 13, 2012, 6:26 PM (GMT+02:00)

British Foreign Secretary William Hague is to meet urgently with Russian FM Sergey Lavrov Thursday for a last bid to gain Moscow’s cooperation in stopping the violence in Syria, or else the three allies will unilaterally impose a no-fly zone over the embattled country. (DEBKAfile exclusively reported this option Monday, June 11.) In Paris, French Foreign Minister Lauren Fabius said his government favors using all measures including military action and a no-fly zone – failing any other recourse.

  11. Why does Netanyahy sit on his hands?
    – Is he waiting for the first 5.000 remote controlled Heron UAV bombers to be produced in order to make Iranian mountains to dust?

Sorry to hear about your personal tragedy, I wish you and yours all the best! Since November last year, and some even from before then, my predictions have been 100% accurate. I predicted already in November that there would be several rounds of talks without any clear result, I predicted Russia standing ever firmer behind Iran, I predicted the additional unilateral US sanctions would be a failure, as well as certain countries taking advantage of those sanctions (Indian and China) I predicted Israel would not do a thing as well as the US joining Israel in doing nothing militarily. Netanyahu, who has been warning about the Iranian bomb for more than 2 decades already, tried to bluff Iran into submission, and Iran has called his hand.
The main problem is that the vast majority of the world does not believe Iran is a threat, nor that Iran is working on a nuclear weapon. Without solid evidence and the backing of the UNSC there won’t be an attack. One just can’t attack another country pre-emptively because one merely suspects that country might be gathering knowledge to build a nuclear weapon somewhere in the distant future should it decide to do so. I therefor repeat my previous prediction that the outcome of the talks will be that Iran will continue to enrich, Fordow will remain operational, and Iran will allow some extra inspections in return for an easing of the sanctions. Iran might even allow a peak in Parchin, eventhough it is clear that nothing will be found there. Most sanctions, however, will stay, and the present status quo will drag on for another decade or so, unless the situation in Syria will explode, after which a major conflict in the ME can be expected, and all other bets are off. The big loser of this all will be the West, as Iran will turn completely to the East and drag countries like Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan with it. It will also cause a further erosion of the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency, as more and more countries will shun the dollar in their bilateral trades, and more oil producing countries will follow Iran’s example and accept other currencies for their oil.

Shalom to one and all, especially you, Joseph, in your time of distress. Mens sana in corpore sano brother. As I was completely unable to access this site for a stretch, I HAD grown concerned.

I recently downloaded the RT News app to my phone and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Two articles in particular that are little understood and vitally relevant can be found at:

    http://rt.com/news/us-total-war-policy-salbuchi-943/

    and

    http://rt.com/news/us-syria-west-bomb-388/

Alas, this makes the missiles raining down on Israel an inevitability. Further to those, and providing some corroboration, may I draw your attention to:

    http://rt.com/news/syria-foreign-insurgents-terror-974/

    and

    http://rt.com/news/syria-raids-terror-networks-870/

The US administration will give Israel enough to save most lives but then try to charge for rebuilding the country (see Kuwait).

I can’t help but think that when, in 1979, the US created Sunni terrorists/freedom fighters, then by default, the Russians were left with Shia.

It is indeed a tragedy of the human experience that we do not learn from our mistakes. The word “revolution” literally means that you start in one place and end up exactly where you started. Minus the fare of course, which is generally what little you began with. Ask the good women of Egypt.

There is only one crime and that is theft. It might be theft of cash or property, or it might be theft of life, but worst, by a country mile, is the theft of humanity.

The most depressing fact of life for a cynic is how often they’re proved to be correct.
