Syria ‘Moving Scuds to Israel, Turkey Borders’ – Middle East – News – Israel National News.
Jordanian news site Ahbar Baladna reports that western spy satellites have recently spotted movements of Syrian heavy missile launchers northward and southward, toward Syria’s borders with Turkey and Israel.
The site says hundreds of high-caliber launchers are being moved, and that these could only be long range Scud missile launchers.
Syria has threatened in the past that in the event of foreign military intervention on its soil, it will not hesitate to fire missiles at Israel and Turkey in order to ignite a large scale regional war.
Turkish and French officials said ten days ago they were mulling a potential military intervention in Syria, where civil war has been raging for 14 months.
“In the face of developments in Syria, we are taking into consideration any kind of possibility in line with our national security and interests,” Turkish foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu told parliament during a briefing to lawmakers.

Don’t all countries have the right to defend themselves against external threats? The backstabbing Turks seem to be all too eager to test Syria’s resolve. Perhaps they’d be wiser to solve their own internal problems with the Kurds before meddling in other countries

I am not your little friend, and your petty demeanor is merely a sign of your insecureness. No country in the world will accept an armed rebellion funded and supplied with weapons from abroad. Suppose the Texan Militia’s, armed and funded by Mexico and Colombia, will start attacking law enforcement in Houston and declare Texas independence. Do you think the Federal Government in Washington will accept “the will of the Texan people”?

Syria defense doesn’t matter. I bet that if Israel had to attack, Assad would be the first to go. I’m sure they know where he is at all times and what is necessary to take him out at any given time.

Assad wont attack Israel because he knows too well that this action will trigger a devastating blow upon Iran, too.
