Mr. Wouk, please accept my condolences on this sad occasion. I had come across a wonderful tribute to your mother in the Los Angeles Times Obituary column just yesterday, and thought the name sounded very familiar. Then today I discovered this notice on your website; I love the portrait of her that you’ve displayed, and I was very much impressed to read about the accomplished life that she led. During these days that follow, my hope is that you find comfort among all those who have come to be by your side.

  2. May peace be with you, and your mother, at this time. You have my deepest condolences.

Dear Joe; I remember when my mother went home; and it was hard and painfull. But as you once said;“we are all here for a reason”. I never forgot your words, and after taking a good look at your mom, I can tell she really made a great contribution to the benefit of mankind through many good works. My God richly reward her, and know that you and your family are in my prayers. Your Friend; Mark Owen.

    Dear Joseph,
I was your “next door” neighbor for a short while when you and your family lived on St. Thomas, in the Virgin Islands. I was going through some memories since my mother died on April 21 this year. I’m sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, I do remember both your father and mother and Nathaniel quite well although 55 years have passed. My belated prayers go out to you and your family.
