Fatima N there is no Palestine. Before 1948 all of the land of Israel was Palestine so named be the Romans. Israel gave up so much for a phantom peace that never came. They returned Gaza. Which battle was it? As far as I know Israel has not had any big war in more of a decade. Perhaps was it the ground campaign in Gaza or Lebanon?
