Israeli security forces prevented a terrorist ramming attack near a hitchhiking post in Samaria on Wednesday. The terrorist was wounded in the attack and was arrested.
According to available details, the terrorist arrived in his vehicle from the direction of Nablus at a checkpoint set up near the hitchhiking post. As he approached, he sped up with the clear intention of hitting the soldiers stationed at the checkpoint.
The soldiers opened fire at the vehicle, neutralizing the terrorist, who was shot in the arm.
Paramedics treated three people at the scene for shock, as well as the terrorist, who was subsequently arrested.
