Tuesday, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said President Donald Trump’s new strategy in Afghanistan is to make the Taliban negotiate with the understanding that they would not “win a battlefield victory,” adding that, “We may not win one, but neither will you.”
Tillerson said, “I think the president was clear, this entire effort is intended to put pressure on the Taliban to have the Taliban understand you will not win a battlefield victory. We may not win one, but neither will you. So at some point, we have to come to the negotiating table and find a way bring this to an end.”

The Taliban fight foreign invaders in THEIR country for centuries , and do we think they will stop now ?
They have the time and we have the clocks @!
Trump has just another 3 1/2 years, he is loosing his support by the day more and more !
How many filled body bags are acceptable for the USA , the Taliban does not fear the dead they fighting on home ground with a complete different motivation than US soldiers who are ” defending ” the homeland on the other side of the world !

The US soldier over there knows now he is not there to win but only to die and to secure the profit of the MIC .
