Scarborough “Baffled by Stupid Left-Wing Moral Equivalency of Obama’s Crusades Remarks”

Scarborough Mocks ‘Stupid Left-Wing Moral Equivalency’ of Obama’s Crusades Remarks | Mediaite.

Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough was not happy with President Barack Obama’s remarks at yesterday’s National Prayer Breakfast, in which Obama warned Christians and other faiths not to get on their “high horses” about Islamic violence given their own religions’ deeds.

Scarborough mocked “this stupid left-wing moral equivalency” that he called “baffling.”

“The president having to go back 700, 800, 900 years!” Scarborough said. “You see this when you have people that somehow want to paint a broad brush: ‘Yes, radical Islam is bad but look what Christianity does.’ Really, you have to go back 800 years to a crusade — which, by the way, most historians say Christians launched in response to years and years of Muslims taking over their former land?”

“It’s not okay,” Scarborough concluded. “You almost have to ask the question: where did he go to church? Where would he get such ideas from?”
