The Westerm media acts as if any ceasefire, whether it is 3 hours, 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years, or 3 decades is expected to be extended infinitely (despite the fact that at the beginning they call these “humanitarian ceasefires”).

Our enemies view ceasefires as a time to rebuild, regroup, and rearm for the next phase of fighting.

In fact the dictionary definition seems closer to the Hamas view of ceasefire rather than the Western media view.

Ceasefire (noun) – a TEMPORARY SUSPENSION of fighting, typically one during which peace talks take place; a truce.
