The average is a pretty good way of putting it, but the worst is when you have a barrage of 16 Grads landing in the space of every few seconds. Then I stayed at home and worked from home. Playing Palestinian Roulette was just too dangerous.

If the USA would be attacked the way Israel is attacked you can bet a bank that within a very very short time the Gaza strip would be carpet bombed and would become a huge parking lot ………
Of course this is not the way Israel handles things as operation Cast Lead has shown. Whatever Israels reaction will be to this further muslim terror – Israel will be critised – so let the Israeli answer be as hard as it has never been before and root out the terrorists once and for all – Israel will be condemned anyway so why not take the chance and do it right ! May the God of Israel strenghten and protect the IDF and lead it from victory to victory !

I agree WG. Might I add that carpet bombing would definitely have an effect, however, I believe they are trying to draw Israel into a ground battle, much like our Marines were engaged in the town of Ramadi. They seem to thrive on door-to-door engagements fraught with enemy casualties and POW’s. You can bet any captured Israeli soldiers would be whisked away and paraded before the press, while the press whines about the perceived disproportionate use of Israeli might and collateral damage to ‘innocent’ civilians. In other words, it would be a repeat of the past. Maybe an all-out attack would break the cycle. Current tactics have certainly slowed it down, but there should be zero tolerance for these rocket attacks. I know there would be here in the USA.

we are all in fits of laughter we only just realized anyway israel is a one aircraft one bomb country anyway you couldn’t even carpet bomb a football pitch anyway,Which is a good thing and the reason why we will never sell you heavy bombers or allow you them,but you pilots are amongst the best

It was once said that to end a war, you have to remove the will of the people to fight. Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Dresden….all come to mind and had this effect. Interesting that this would come up…
