Kenyan Red Cross reports more than 30 people killed, at least 60 people injured by 18-20 Arabic-speaking gunmen who stormed the upscale Westgate center shopping mall in the Kenyan capital Saturday, Sept. 21. Riding in on motorcycles, they sprayed the crowds with gunfire and grenades. Kenyan police forces engaged the attackers, who carried large quantities of ammo, in fierce battle.
As terrified people rushed out, many holding children, the gunmen seized at least seven hostages and barricaded themselves inside the building. Heavy military and police forces are surrounding the mall, attempting to negotiate the hostages’ release.
Kenyan sources report an unknown number of Israelis were in the mall which is Israeli-owned, including staff and shoppers. There is no word yet on their situation.
Witnesses who escaped reported that the terrorists, all masked and clad in black clothing, singled out white people and foreigners and shouted to fellow Muslims to run out.
The exclusive Westgate centre is often frequented by wealthy Kenyans and expatriates from in the country and outside. Police have urged residents to stay away from the area.

This violent group has vowed revenge against Kenya for its military support of the Mogadishu government. In the past year, Kenyan and Somali troops wrested large areas of southern and central Somalia from Al Shabaab insurgent control. In a ground, air and naval assault, they ousted Al Shabaab from the key Somali port town of Kismayo, their last major urban stronghold.

Lately, strange political moves were seen in the World Arena. Lots were the words and the critics – your humble servant between them – didn’t spare those harsh words against Obama, Putin, the iranians, Assad…you know, all those excellent guys who suddenly want to make friends as much as they can. What is happening here? It cannot be that all are idiots or/ and evil. So, its possible that the world leaders got it finally: they are at war, but not against each other. Against the world powers is emerging – and not only from now, but for more than ten years – an octopus, an international conglomerate of terror, under the leadership of Al Qaeda. Sunnis terror groups affiliated with Al Qaeda are executing ” terror acts ” every day, in many different places on the globe, against christians, jews and shiite population and military.
So, my friends, what do we really have here? Who are the antagonists of this new Great War? They are all the players in this game who are not Al Qaeda – sunnis. Russia, Iran, America are all affected by jihad activity. America cannot carry alone anymore the burden of the war against A Qaeda. We – and the USA – thought that America is enough, but no, it wasn’t. The actual US leadership saw the danger. This is the real reason behind the all out US retreat from our region. Over stretched lines, that is a bad thing in war and that is exactly what the US military was confronting with.
So the russians, the iranians and the americans are searching now for new type of treaties that will help them against the Sunni Al Qaeda threat and also will help them from each other.

There weren’t any links, it was no strong language or any ”expressions” but my name, mistakenly written Lus instead of Luis. My comment appeared to be under ”moderation” and eventually, wiped off.
I dont believe that Joseph was the moderator, because there was no reason for that comment to disappear. That’s all.

The American military was not overstretched. Our military suffers from civilian political leaders who have either forgotten how to fight a war, are afraid of being called a war criminal by the left, or are just stupid. When America remembers how to fight a war then the al-qaeda’s of this world will quickly disappear.

Norm, courageous words and I’m with you one hundred percent, really. However, I ask you – if I may – to look at the World Map and the hot spots of the Sunni Al Qaeda military and terror activities and you may have feel like I did when I understood that one single power – even super – cannot deal with such many spread threats. Its a World business, its a new World War. That is what it is and I believe that the big boys got it, too. This is why Obama tried – and is continuing to try – to have more world military powers involved. Part of the world is saying yes – France, for example – but another very important player just said no – Britain. There are new players willing to jump into the ”Obama’s chariot” – the russians, for example, and they want to bring their friends with them, too.

Luis, Obama only leads from behind. It was France and the United Kingdom which first led the world against Assad. Unfortunately, the citizens of those countries were not behind their political leaders. He is working with Putin only because that leader has him by the balls. I do agree that the Western world must act together against the terrorists or we will fail.
The key to united action is not Obama, it is the media. The world’s media is still afraid of insulting Muslims. Things are changing, and when the media decides to go to war then the people will follow like sheep. Meanwhile, the daily outrage continues with an untold number of Christians being slaughtered at a church in Peshawar.
