The Lebanese terror group Hezbollah is causing an uproar in the Muslim world over its involvement in the Syrian conflict, especially its role in helping regime forces drive out the rebels in the village of Qusair, near the border with Lebanon earlier this week.

Fighters from the Shiite group helped Syrian forces batter the town for three weeks until they finally overran it, in a significant victory for Assad’s regime.

The London-based Al-Hayat newspaper published a scathing op-ed about Hezbollah in which the author asserts that the group has revealed itself to be an Iranian-controlled, armed religious faction instead of the anti-Israel resistance group it made itself out to be.

Another author in the publication criticized the Arab world for not anticipating Hezbollah’s actions, comparing it to the international community’s unwillingness to recognize the futility of nuclear talks with Iran.

“The surprise of the Arab (particularly Gulf Arab) community at Hezbollah’s behavior in Syria and its dedication in fighting to defend Bashar al-Assad’s regime resembles the surprise of the international community at Iran’s behavior on the nuclear issue, after the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) only now ‘discovered’ that dialogue with Tehran was moving in a ‘vicious circle,’” wrote Hassan Haidar.

“Hezbollah will remain part of the joint Syrian-Iranian security apparatus, carrying out what the latter requires in service of the interests of one or both of them…And it will move after the battle of Qusayr, without any apprehensions, to the remaining fronts in Aleppo, Damascus, and other places, in defense of the alliance between its own “regime” in Lebanon and the regimes in Syria and Iran,” he added.

Sheikh Raed Salah, the leader of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel, said Saturday that Hezbollah must understand that Allah never sanctioned killing fellow humans, destroying mosques and sowing sectarian strife among the Muslim Ummah (nation).

The overt entry by Lebanon’s Hezbollah in Syria’s civil war on the side of its ally President Bashar Assad has sharpened sectarian divisions throughout the Middle East.

Many Sunni hard-liners have taken Hezbollah’s intervention in Syria as a declaration of war by Shiites against Sunnis.

On Thursday, Saudi Arabia’s top cleric, Sheik Abdulaziz bin Al Sheikh,  issued the strongest condemnation yet of Hezbollah’s role in Syria, urging politicians and Muslim scholars to take “effective steps to deter its aggression” on Syria.

A week ago, the influential Egyptian cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi angrily denounced Hezbollah — Arabic for “party of God” — as “the party of Satan” and called on Sunnis to join the jihad in Syria. A popular television preacher linked to the Brotherhood, Al-Qaradawi had in the past called for better ties between Sunnis and Shiites and praised Hezbollah in its fights against Israel.

In his sermon, he angrily said Iran wants “continued massacres to kill Sunnis.”

The tourism rate in Syria is expected to rise abruptly after the Hezbollah ”victory” at Al Qusayr and the announcement of jihad by the Sunnis high Imams, jihad against Hezbollah forces in Syria and Lebanon. The death tourists are pouring into Syria from the beginning of the war but now the business are simply booming.
Jihad against Hezbollah? Its like Mozart in our ears.

The situation around israel has gone from a slip knot to a Gordian knot. The price of waiting.

The deeper the Syrian war is, the better the israeli strategic situation is. Israel has no business in Syria, but ”discrete” IAF operations from time to time, for not permitting certain ”wunder waffen” to be transferred to the nasty people. Our real business is in Iran, but this is another story.

If Russia will choose to ”drop” its force of ”peacekeepers” directly on the Golan with the approbation of Assad and without the consensus from the israeli part, then, my friends, we have a word for that: invasion. If Putin will choose to put russian boots on the ground in Syria, he will have a big problem and he will demonstrate to all the world that he forgot Afghanistan(the americans didn’t).
In a such a wonderful and miraculous situation, the russian boys in Syria will act like a magnet for the happy jihadists, who will arrived in even more numbers to purge Syria from the ”unbelievers”. The presence of christian troops on muslim soil is like a hot wind for a fire in developing. We don’t think that Putin is so stupid and doesn’t understand what we all see and understand.
May be Putin is seeking for a little personal war in Syria. May be he thinks that he can do better than Hezbollah, Assad and the iranians combined. May be Putin is trying to smoke in a gas station, because once the russian troops will show up in Syria in big numbers and in open, what we did saw until now will be like a Hollywood second hand movie in comparison with what is waiting in the jihadists’ store for the ”unbelievers”.

And the “rebels”, the so-called “Syrian Free Army” (which is neither Syrian, nor free, nor an army!) are western controled terrorist murders, so, evidentially, the American gov’t has forgotten what happened in Afghanistan, back in the 80’s, when it armed and supported terrorists, and created the Taliban and Al Qaeda in the process; that didn’t end up working out too well for the US.

You know what, you have a big point in your last lines. Yes, Al Qaeda was created in the 80ties, in Afghanistan, ”with a little help” from the USA. However, America learned something from that and now Obama is running from the Syrian conflict like it was a plague. Weapons – even serious ones – do arrive to the happy jihadists from Saudi Arabia ( with or without the blessing of Obama). Some important countries from Europe are also involved, by the side of the jihadists. As I already said, Israel has no business in Syria with the exception of those ”wunderwaffen” which we don’t want that certain people to be in a position to grab them.

Well lets point some things out here first of all the USA did not create the Taliban full stop,it did arm the the insurgents,i .the country that provided the arms was Israel they were the ones captured from Syria in the 73 war so as not to alert the russians to the us bacing, again i was there, later the usa provided sams thats was really as far as the support went but we were talking large shipments even by today’s standards
