( Even with Obama in charge, I find it hard to believe that these military preparations are for show or bluff. – JW )

Move is several months early to make sure at least two carriers are constantly present in troubled region • Pentagon recently doubled number of minesweepers in area, giving greater flexibility to counter any Iranian effort to mine the Strait of Hormuz.

I believe the U.S. military takes things a bit more seriously than Barak Obama. While he may be the commander and chief, the U.S. military must carry out it’s duty to protect and defend. So as the U.S. Navy prepares for a victorious confrontation with Iran (loss is not an option), Mr. Obama prepares for a victorious election (loss is the desired option by many).

    Steve…

Assuming the reports are accurate, I’m sorry to say that so far this “seriousness” has resulted in the death of one and the wounding of 3 innocent Indian fisherman. Go NAVY !
