Moslem Brotherhood takes Egypt Presidency

After nearly an hour of stupefying details of the commission’s work, Mohammad Morsy was announced to be the winner of the presidential election.

Wild celebration/pandemonium has broken out in Tahrir square.

We all were afraid of this happening.  Poor Egypt.  Hello, Arab winter…..

    Shalom Joseph,

Please don’t forget that Morsi has been somewhat declawed by the military. The military controls the Supreme Constitutional Court and have legally retained full veto rights over the new president and will be co-authoring the new constitution. That this has happened is important for Egypt’s wellbeing. It says a lot about the Muslim Brotherhood that Syrian Christians are now supporting the monster al-Assad out of fear of the Salafist terrorists being supplied arms by the CIA in Turkey.

We seem to be at the peak of the Islamic Winter. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too much longer to see the tides turn….
Here in the US the November elections can’t come soon enough.

I highly doubt we are anywhere near the peak. The Arab Spring is a revolution which by definition is cyclical. It started with subjugated majorities in poor situations rising up and going on a journey of violence that ended up exactly where they started but worse off.

This of course suits US foreign policy which is bipartisan and won’t change when Romney is voted in as Bilderberg is believed to desire. Too many drone murders have made Obama a liability.

The problem is that the military industrial complex has been realised, to such an extent, that the arms manufacturer’s lobbyists are so powerful, they can, and do, dictate government policy. This makes a military intervention in Syria all but inevitable and Iran will, I suspect, jump at the chance to defend its ally, all the while appealing to Moscow to come to their aid and shelling Israel. A proxy war in the Middle East which will likely expand and escalate because of the “missile defence shield” and in Africa and the Yellow Sea against China fits nicely into the agenda of the messianic apocalyptic regime in Tehran.
