Out of curiosity, I wanted to see how the onslaught of rockets (about 70) over the last two days on Israel was being covered in the States.
Simple answer: It isn’t.
Arabs dropping rockets on Jews doesn’t even merit coverage. I’ll show you the top stories on CBS below. All the MSM was the same. I chose CBS because they are usually the best.
The media loves to play up Israel’s “paranoia” and “siege mentality.” Really? What other country in the world having rockets dropped on it wouldn’t merit a mention?

That’s nothing new, Joe. When someone was setting all those fires in Israel more or less 2 years ago, and even other countries were sending help for putting them out, our coverage was so minimal – if any at all – that I was forwarding Israeli coverage to friends.
The irony is that, unless I’m mistaken, we also sent some assistance…

I have to say I think it is best when Israel is not front and center in the US press. Let Israel take care of her own business without the world judgment of the US press. In times like this Israel should take advantage of the Arab Spring and clean house in Gaza. Maybe even flatten the garbage dump. I remember when Israel is on the front page everyday and guess what, US public opinion is never in their favor. The goyim who are not in tune with the Middle East almost always say why does Israel always stir the pot. Clean house while you can!

I will start to worry, if i was them. What do we have here, practically? The world is in turmoil, and he who is not in an economic crisis is in a war; the islam is on march and the christianity is under threat; Israel is blamed and, in the same time, the Jewish State is threatened with annihilation. Sounds familiar to you ? Because to me, all these and some more, ring a bell which i read about in a very specific Book . In the end , we all know how all this will finish. And some people still don’t get it.

You are welcome! I see the “filtering” of certain subjects by the main stream media as “business as usual.” JW has reason to be upset. They are after all… completly co-opted by the current administration.
Every day now, many people I know see Obama more as a tyrant than a president. His “dictatorial” powers are increasing and putting further pressure on an already broken system. I believe that Obama has plans to put Israel into a position that will force it to bargain a “peace deal” that they will not want! I think that the possible route to this peace deal will be a dark path through Syria and Iran. I also think that by this September or October (prior to the November election) we will see more of what he (Obama) has planned.
